Trump is acting without any care to what the people of this country want or need. What's happening is terrifying to so many of us. Please know that what he is doing is not supported by the majority of the country.

The actions of Donald Trump are isolating and weakening America. Anyone who is being completely honest would not deny this. This ONLY benefits Russia. Is a compromised president going to inflict generational damage to America and its allies without challenge from within? As long as the president is acting on the best interests of Russia, America is no longer a partner, or a friend.

The world can go on without America, Trump and his MAGA supporters need to realize that. They be acting as if they are some kind of vital source of energy / resources when their #1 export is war & conflict.

Trump is acting destructive everywhere, where he engages. He is destroying his country because the prices in USA will go up quickly and long lasting and their stocks will fall dramatically. Inflation is USA will soar and get out of control. His policies are firing back on his own economy.\n\nCanada will have little ore none impact from these tarrifs, they will overcome this initial shock quickly and recover. They will find better partners and other ways to trade. But USA won't find anybody any more who is willing to deal with him, everybody will avoid engaging with his administration, because they are acting ruthless. Trump isn't considering the ends of his decisions and he obviously doesn't care because he is an irresponsible person without a concience. He won't be able to do harm to other countries than to his own, he only destroys USA, because they elected him and they are following him on his way so far. The opposition in USA will become louder and much more influential and Trump will lose more and more companions in his own party.

I never thought I would be more supportive of a government imposing tariffs on us than my own government, but hey Trump aligning the US with Putin and starting unnecessary and harmful trade wars with our allies is moronic and treasonous. The GOP used to be the party of free trade. That was literally their main plank for 40 years, and an idiot comes along who doesn't understand basic facts, such as how tariffs work, imposes them willynilly and vindictively, and the spine-challenged Congress rolls over without so much as a whimper. Meanwhile, an illegal immigrant from South Africa fires the people looking after our nuclear weapons, because he's also an idiot. And their fans lap up their clear treasonous acts.

Could Canada Win a Trade War?\n Trump has waged Economic War on Canada in order to bring us to our knees so that we will eventually capitulate to become the 51st state.\n\n Had he come in a nice way, as a friend verses a foe, he would have had a lot more interest, especially from Alberta. \n\n Now that we are here, the question has to be asked, can we actually win a trade war that has probably been extensively war-gamed by the U.S.?\n\n Our politicians want us to go toe to toe with a 900 lb gorilla. The U.S. economy is at least 10 times our size and are less dependent on our trade than we are. We may give them a black eye but they could rip our arms and legs off. \n\n Retaliatory tariffs play into their hands. It’s the perfect excuse to increase the tax to 50 or 100%. So will we do the same? This would devastate us, achieving their goals.\n\n Canadians are already fighting back without the government making things worse. People are boycotting U.S. goods en masse and cancelling travel plans, etc. and this is already having a strong effect.\n\n Some say turn off the electricity and oil, but who will pay price? It will be the businesses and employees, not the politicians who are now trying to act tough. If we want this to turn into a real kinetic war, then turning off the taps may do it. \n\n We have seen countless times where politicians tell us what we want to hear, making us think they are heading is a certain direction, only to find they do the exact opposite. This proves you can not believe what career politicians say and have to go by what they do, or don’t do, instead. Yet now, they confidently declare that Canada will never become the 51st state. This should raise eyebrows. \n\n Almost all of the MPs and Premiers are unanimous in entering into a trade war we can not win. After tariffs go ballistic, our dollar drops to .35 cents, and we get utterly crushed, I can see them say, “in order to save what’s left of our economy and society we must reluctantly join the U.S. or face certain destruction”. \n\n Not only would the decades old goal of a North American Union be accomplished, but we would take a large step towards the video statement that the World Economic Forum - WEF posted on their website. “By 2030, you will own nothing and be happy”. \n\n The WEF is working with the UN to achieve their Agenda 2030 goals and is what Pierre Poilievre and the “Conservatives” signed Canada onto Sept. 27, 2015. As a u.s citzen I'm appalled and ashamed of my president. The elites got what they want but doesn't mean it will last they talk about exposing corruption but yet are doing some pretty corrupt things why do we only get 2 choices for a president and lesser of two evils why don't we pick someone with morals and that have the best interest for our country and people not just the rich cause I've been struggling before during and after trump maybe we need new congress and stop this dumbass blame game of pointing fingers when dems and rep come together we can be unstoppable why are people so stupid and selfish like we have it easier than most country's last I knew we don't eat cats or dogs so that tells me are economy not as bad as other places just seems like the rich are losing and this will help them stay rich. I don't like Biden or trump but my god does no one notice the segregation that's pushing us apart? we were all for Ukraine before and now plp wanna act differently without facts or knowledge kids family's they are dying cause putin is a prime example of a dictator.... praying and hoping we come together to fix this and show our next generation on what not to do.

From America, the world really acts like we owe them something.\n\nWe get called imperialists when we help, cowards and weaklings when we don’t, we get reprimanded and shit on about how we should get our nose out of everyone’s business. Please understand this, we voted for Donald Trump. Flaws and all. He didn’t cheat or steal his way in. He isn’t a threat to democracy, or the stability of Europe. He’s and American president for America and if any non Americans wanna take issue with that. Then come get your citizenship and vote for it, but until then, stop crying about what America is doing and focus on your own country. Who knows, if you do your own country might actually be notable enough for you to understand my frustrations :)

I am a USA citizen and a veteran. Trump's behavior doesn't represent this countries heart. This is an embarrassment and stains what we all believe and fought for. Canada, Mexico, Greenland and Europe beware. It seems Trump's greed and ego are out of control. These actions seem to be putting your countries in notice that Trump doesn't view you as allies. I believe he will pull out of NATO . Please pull together with Europe and become non reliant on Trump. Become an economic force without this wanna be king. Examine protecting your borders from Trump . Hopefully we the people of the USA will act to take our country back before it's too late.

Trump did a good thing. All you woke, soft hearted liberals don't get the fact that the USA has been allowing these other countries to eat off of us for free. Well, that' stops today. The President/PM of Ukraine will also learn a valuable lesson today as well. Never bite the hand that feeds you. All of our tax dollars have been donated around the world to other people's causes while we are made to suffer. We have a financial crisis right here in America that needs to be addressed. This is the start, and in the long term, we will prevail. Canada is like a little sister to the US. Trudeau is talking about fighting and they can't survive a war without our help. Neither can many of the other NATO countries. So, middle finger to him and any other country that opposes us. It's time stop being taken advantage of and for the USA to start acting like we are the most powerful nation in the world. Many of you don't like Trump's decisions simply because you don't like the person. Get out of your feelings and look at then big picture.

The Drug Fentanyl is coming into the USA because Americans want it to come in .\n. Are you kidding me. Are you not in Canada right now. Canada is now the most poor country in the World. Immigration has gone to the roof. No housing. Rents and forget about buying a house in BC, AB, Quebec, Ontario. High unemployment, Inflation is high and going up more. We also do not have a military defense system and the U.S. is tired of Canada not spending money to meet their responsibility as a Nato country. Many Canadians are leaving the country permanent. Investors and businesses are pulling out. Canada is trillions in debt but keep printing more money (toilet paper). Canada has gone downhill significantly over the past ten years. Born Canadians and legit immigrants having to go through a rigorous immigration process are very unhappy and cause conflict. Besides all the different ethnicities cause unrest and are ungrateful, daring the burn the Canadian flag, uttering death to Canada, death the US and Israel. These trouble makers have not intentions to assimilate into Canada's culture and are disrespectful to the Canadian government and it's citizens. Our youth are very unhappy and do not see a future for themselves yet have to work very hard and pay unbelievable high taxes. The minimum wages are only 15 bucks an hour which cannot sustain life here in this country. Please stop making false promises to foreigners to come here and be disappointed. This is not a country of milk and honey any longer but poor and enormous homelessness. Hunger, terrible health care, incredible post secondary tuitions and books. Now that president Trump has won the election he is going to place tariffs on Canadian goods and rightfully so. Russia is very interested in the Antarctica and should they or anyone invade Canada we got 3 days of ammunition. The food in AB is very bad for your health. Everything has pesticides, hormones, and by the time fruit and vegies arrive here from the US all the nutrition have gone. A extremely high cancer rate, young and old, diabetes, depression and other mental disorders are rampant. Our children and grandchildren do not have a future so why bother going to school or work. Our kids live on the streets, shelters, camping in the woods and using fentanyl and meth all kinds of dangerous drugs. The cities and small towns are full of used needles, pipes, and more paraphelia just thrown on the trails everywhere. The US will not assist Canada when a possible War 3 will occur, and we the people of Canada and the land are easy prey. If you do not believe me, just come visit RED Deer shelters and walk around on the trails, go to Vancouver but becareful because random assaults are happening every day, people living in tents, using the streets as toilets, drugs galore, even the police is unable to act nor arrest criminal activities caused by desperate people who need to survive. Canada's economy is about to collapse and fall into a recession. We have too many people coming in our country without checking their back ground and many criminals and terrorist groups are entering declaring refugee status whether it is true or not, we do not know. The people of Canada who work and pay highest taxes are used to house these newcomers and education, jobs, food and money. Our government take better care of these illegal people than their own people especially our youth. So please let us not pretend Canada is a land of opportunity and great. We have to vote for the right leader who will have a very difficult time and challenges to overcome if at all possible and make Canada Great Again!

Trump must be disqualified; Americans can't be that stupid! Individuals incarcerated with less severe sentences than Trump should be released from prison immediately, as the law should apply equally to everyone without exception. The justice system, including the Supreme Court, is fundamentally flawed, and this is just the beginning. Trump's actions threaten to fragment the USA, much like his questionable dealings; the evidence is clear. He lacks morals, having faced sexual accusations from 26 women, and his connections with Jeffrey Epstein, who preyed on underage girls, raise serious concerns about his actions. Additionally, he has deceived and exploited construction workers with his projects, launched a fake university, and filed for bankruptcy six times. His most notable act is the first insurrection in U.S. history. This con artist holds the worst reputation both nationally and internationally, while the justice system and government have consented to a reckless individual. America has lost credibility both domestically and globally—all of this for one unworthy old man. The government can only blame the electorate for choosing someone who should never have been permitted to run for the presidency!
