3:02 I think 90% of what this dude said is so horribly off the mark but even I have to agree with this. If immigrants could successfully assimilate before, why not now? I remember in the 2010s hearing about immigrants/refugees not assimilating in Europe and constantly just thought "well why don't they just do immigration with strong assimilation like we do here in Canada?", and now we had 4 years of sloppy immigration give or take, unfortunate. At least the straight up policies that led to this influx of poorly managed immigration is removed, but the same leaders and cabinet members and the like of the liberal government are present. Oh and did I mention they keep privatizing things, throwing money at mining industries without any seeing of the benefit to working Canadians realistically, and planning to build a pipeline by like 2035 towards east Asia which will likely be majority renewable energy by then, without actually trying to address the issues now present from the 4 years of sloppy immigration policy?

Trudeau has had his share of critics during his tenure. But he's always had Canada and its' people in his best interest. While he was forced to resigned as many members of this cabinet was losing faith in him, this is his last week in office with nothing to lose. During these past few weeks, he has been a true champion by rallying the whole country and uniting us closer than I've ever seen. This speech was exactly what we Canadians all feel. Mic Drop! But the imbalance has to stop.\n\nSame with Mexico, trading balance with Mexico is almost $200 billion in favor of Mexico. From an assumption that these and future tariffs will positively harm the US economy, just where does Trump go when the shit hits the fan (as it pretty much already has done)? How does he row back from the chaos he is causing and has caused. He doesn't retreat easily. I suspect that he will sack key members of his cabinet, effectively blaming them for this shift show, to try to save face. If the GOP ever grew a pair I can see impeachment in the works on the grounds of real and present harm to the US.

Supreme Court - what would happen in your country if a justice of the highest court in your land was found to have accepted millions of dollars in financial benefits from a billionaire with business before the court.\n\n2. Whitehouse - a convicted felon is currently the President and he is supported by people who can’t even convince him the reality of who pays tariffs.\n\n3. House of Representatives - name one piece of legislation of significance that has emanated out of the House in 4 years? How many ridiculous fishing expeditions have they pursued for the sake of political gain. Responsible for withholding aid to Ukraine for months.\n\n4. Senate - confirmed the appointment of several cabinet members devoid of the requisite experience for their role, including an ex tv host to head up Defence who has issues for alcoholism, fidelity, was head of a veterans group charged with financial mismanagement, is accused of ra8e, and has white supremecy tattoos on his body.\n\nNot a country you can rely on.

Canadian student visa is a biggest scam of the current Trudeau's regime. All the international students protesting for PR status should be deported from Canada without any excuses. Many people might ask how the Liberal government issued so many study and work visas to young Indians, who don't have any particularly outstanding qualifications. It is because they allowed colleges to accept students and some of these colleges were created for the sole purpose of collecting high tuition fees, which wealthy Indians gladly paid for as it gave them a chance to live in Canada and apply for permanent residency. Trudeau (like Harper, incidentally) wanted to win Brampton and the surrounding areas so as to be able to form a government. These ridings could easily flip to Conservative, unlike others in Quebec or BC. Voters in these battleground areas were believed to be willing to vote Liberal, if they could have some representation in Ottawa, especially in cabinet. Even as a member of this diaspora, I think courting this population like this was a huge mistake. \n\nIn the post-war II period, the immigrants that came from Canada, were highly qualified, scientists, engineers, architects -- you name it, that had jobs waiting for them at universities and tech firms. If they were students, they came into Ph.D. programs fully supported with stipends. This generation helped Canada tremendously and made Canada a leader in crop science and microbiology research, just to name an example. Today, many here on student visas are working at Tim's or delivering Amazon packages, or even driving trucks without proper training.

All by design and when we see this happening in the USA and now Canada you can’t help but wonder if WWIII is well underway.
