Within a decade growing up i was the only non indian or middle eastern in my classes in school. To the point where u cant get a job cant rent a place because they cater to their own race. If a 3000 sq ft home has 3 generations living then that would easily be anywhere from 5-12 people depending on the number of children or sibling the earning member(s) have. My family of 16 moved to Canada from Holland in 1952. My wife’s family moved from France in 16th century. Canada has always been a land of immigrants. Where we lived in East Vancouver were were surrounded by Italians. Richmond was nothing years ago and now is mostly Chinese and Asian. Foreigners are energetic and have cultural roots they are proud of why shouldn’t they. The First Nations people here were exploited in every way by the English and French followed by every other European country. So the video focuses on Indian immigrants slanted with negative biases. India is a very diverse and historically one of the most accepting of foreigners in the world exploited terribly by the British and their hero Churchill who let millions of Indians starve by robbing them. Does anyone interviewed in this video know any history. Please stop belly aching.

I feel like showing a homeless shelter and saying no indian is pretty bias. Ive been homeless before, and anytime you go to a sikh temple, its part of their religion to feed you. They serve meals and tea pretty much every day. Regardless of race or religon. A lot of it is vegetarian, but when you are homeless it can be a blessing 🧡

Videos like these would be nicer if you did research/fact-checked people's statements. I know the purpose is to get the POV of the general populace, but it sucks hearing at the end of the video "Well, idk why" when you could improve the quality of the video by supporting or rejecting claims people make. Also, asking more balanced questions instead of biased ones is another way you can improve. For example, no difficult questions or claims against the anti-immigration Canadians were given - they were basically just asked "why do you think this?" On the other hand, the pro-immigration migrants were given questions regarding claims made by the anti-immigrant Canadians - which again was never fact checked by your team. It's difficult and feels like a waste of time when we're just hearing testimony - as important as each individual's story is - but without any critical thinking or research applied.

As someone who lived in Brampton for several years, I learned that in the Indian culture they must look out for their own first. As a Black person looking to rent a place, it was extremely disheartening (I’m experiencing racism from people darker than me?!). Eventually one landlord told me what was up - they must help their own people and essentially only rent to other Indian people. You see it in all the companies where you have an Indian hiring manager - they are biased to employing only their own. I was left no choice but to leave Brampton.
