Here's the root of most of the problems, its gov. policy, you take in a million new people a year, give them everything and your dollar ends up losing value, so even though your working hard, you cannot get ahead in this country. So you end up going into a debt that you can't pay off and the problems increase. Taxes go up value of the dollar keeps going down, so in the end its a no win situation for most of the general population and its the same when you retire, you get an income that's not enough even to pay for rent in the city you were brought up in. This is a very serious problem and gov. does not seem to do anything about it, food banks are overwhelmed along with medical staff, food prices and rents have gone out of sight as far as prices are concerned. We have a national debt that never gets paid and a gov. that spends more money than it takes in in taxes. And a dollar thats going to H in a handbasket. Too much crime, too much violence, too many traffic jams and too much drug use. I have written to this liberal gov. and told them how to fix these problems but they don't listen, their agenda is with the WEF, you will have nothing and you will be happy, right, no. Canada is now a bankrupt country and going to a third world status, I guess you get what you vote for and I did not vote for this gov. to ruin the country. Hey note that this is just the start, its going to get a whole lot worse down the road as we all suffer another great depression, then things really get bad.

If you make money online there is no reason to remain in Canada and pay so much tax when you receive almost nothing in exchange. There are countries like Panama where you pay zero tax from income made abroad. Panama does not have the luxuries that Canada offer, It is still a third world country. But your rent is much less and you don't pay tax.

I truly believe this all revolves around the housing crisis. Not enough housing can be built. Canadians with options are not taking low-income jobs. It's not a survivable wage anymore. Doesn't matter, you need to climb the ladder again and in the meantime work as a Receptionist making minimum wage.\n\nImmigrants with money are obligated to prove themselves. Buy housing, start a business. Numerous cities such as Brampton are being filled with slums. Housing a double digit of residents in the basement at absurd costs so the landlords can afford their ridiculous mortgages and lifestyle off the back of other immigrants/refugees.\n\nThe main issue is the hate directed towards immigrants. First of all, in the video it was disgusting for the man to acknowledge that someone was wearing good clothes and asking where the refugee center is. Someone can be a refugee and still have money. That's the ideal refugee. My parents immigrated from Britain in the 1959s after WWII and built a comfortable life! At 72 I live a relatively comfortable life although I have spent all my savings and I currently rent! I lived in Spain with my much younger Colombian wife who passed away in 2019. My pension income is sufficient for me to live since I returned to Canada and I have better than adequate healthcare and dental care! The short story is \nTurd and the Turdettes were elected because Harpoons and his band of buttkissing bootlickers were self-serving incompetents. You ask for price and people say NO!!! Then they ask you> are you any good<? I mean, I done 250 homes in Vancouver BC and they still have doubts. I think things might get better when we have our new common sense PM, the current one is just so incompetent, I will for sure leave this place if he gets re-elected in 2 years. But looking around world, can anyone suggest me a non-third world country with high income, reasonable cost, good education and decent climate, preferably English speaking. No Japan please, my husband holds Japan PR, but I will never consider moving there, too scared of earthquakes ?.

That's still hope. I really hope the government makes an effort to push the economy stronger here. Canada has suffered from poor economy for many years and the situation has been getting worse. It results in homeless people (who can't afford to rent a place), low salaries in most jobs, low family income, lacking resources in education, and a high crime rate, ...etc. China was like that decades ago and has completely exited the economy from a third-world level after moving the economy forward.

In my province healthcare is ostensibly nonexistent. Wait times at ER's are well over 12 hours and you're often directed to go home without ever seeing a doctor. \nThere is an extreme deficit of doctors. I've been waiting 6 years for one and there are people who have waited much longer with no relief in sight. \nHousing is unaffordable. A decent (nothing special) one bedroom 1 bath apartment is around 1600 a month and this is a largely rural province, not a metropolitan city. \nHomes are being bought as fast as they go on the market at extremely inflated prices by people moving here to escape the more populated provinces. This has raised property taxes by 20% in the last 2 years.\nThe economy is in shambles. Homelessness is exploding and the government seems uninterested in fixing it in any realistic or helpful way.\nFederal and provincial income taxes are nearly 50% of your income (44% for me and a bit more for my wife). So, what money you do make you get to keep a little more than half.\nElectricity is about 3 times what it is in the US and the rate here is increasing by 29% over the next 3 years.\nGroceries are unreasonably expensive and becoming more pricey by the day. Provincial sales tax is 15% on top of those groceries as well. \nThis is a short list of a few of the more glaring issues but there are far more. Canada has transformed over the last 5 years into a place I hardly recognize anymore. If something isn't done about it soon we'll be living in a third world country by 2030.

Because instead of offering economic prosperity, Canada offers economic serfdom. Why else would they be bringing in more people than anywhere else in the world. Sure, Canada needs $15 security guards and $20/ hour truck drivers, but in Canada you'll never have a decent life on that level of income. I know when I came back from working in the US I was offered a variety of technical jobs at about a third of what I was paid in the US.

The core problem with Canada is not its economy but its people. Since Canada has opened its immigration doors to the poorest and most miserable countries of the Third World living conditions have not just deteriorated but have become intolerable as crime, transportation, equal opportunity employment and civil service has been transferred into the hands of these recent migrants. People with low incomes simply can't even afford a place to live and must share their living space with people who have no sense of hygiene, ethics and posses alien foreign values. The only migrants willing to remain in Canada are those from the poorest corners of the world where they face starvations, destitute poverty, disease and social banishment if they return. Migrants who come from Europe or other developed nations discover Canada to be so repugnant that they simply return from where they came. People can survive with poverty as long as they are comfortable with their environment, in Canada living with poverty has become a nerve wreaking daily struggle for survival in a hostile alien environment.

Why compare Canada, a first world country, to Pakistan, a third world country? \nAny new immigrant planning to move to Canada must do analysis of average income vs cost of living of their area of choice before they plan to move. They will get the real picture.
