I wrote my citizenship test 20/20 today. While the questions in the actual test were not the same as this video, this video helped me to review and prepare with confidence. I read the discover Canada guide cover to cover thrice and went over this quiz twice. What really helped is that this quiz refers you to the exact line and the page of the handbook which helped a lot in preparation. Good luck everyone!

I recently took the test and passed (17/20). In my experience, only a few questions were similar to this video. The real test focused more on understanding concepts from the Discover Canada guide rather than repeated practice questions. Still helpful for revision, but definitely prioritize the official book/guide.

I just wrote my exam now! I even wrote twice because of an error with my photo ID. I got 20 in the first test and 19 in the second test. All the questions were very similar to what we have here but some where in true or false formats. I listened to Discover Canada audio and read the pdf simultaneously and then did two rounds of this practice questions. Thank you greatly

I did some other mock tests as well like Richmond Library, studied the map and etc. Some I remember are: 1. What is the common term for someone elected in Federal elections? A. Riding Winner B. Human Right Commission 3. Jury duty consists of partial jurors and past jurors (in similar meaning) True or False. 4. French and English are: A. Fighting rebellion in 1800s B. French joined hands with Americans to fight against English C. Lived together for 300 years D. All of the above 5. Got a basic question about suffrage movement 6. What are prairie provinces? Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba (SAM) 7. I got a question about provinces from west to east on Canada map. Please look and memorize the provinces locations. 8. Got a question about Peace Arch in Blaine 9. Question about Peace Tower like what was built after first world War. 10. Question about Aboriginals. Ans: First Nations, Metis and Inuits 11. Branches of Parliament Ans: Sovereign, House of commons and Senate 12. Courts do: Ans: Settle disputes These all what I remember. I am not sure which ones I got wrong. Might be in the first 5 I posted here. Test is not difficult but it is better to go through this video multiple times and do some other mock tests as well, in my opinion. I just finished my test January 28 2026 19/20. , I got multiple True/False questions as many people. One was about Olympic gold medal winner in 2010 Vancouver was Men's team. True. I remember a question about start of the modern energy industry, it had given timefram and what was the energy . I chose the Oil Alberta 1947 , which was correct. It has I think hydroelectricity Quebec 1980 as another answer closest for choice. Another question I remember True false , it has 3 names Question was are these one of the great inventors of Canada. So I would suggest you take note of Greatest inventors of Canada. There are multiple. Many answers of questions are too easy to eliminate because they don't make sense at all. You are mostly between 2 answers easily. If you just study this video I think you'll surely pass 😅. Another question was ; Who are appointed by on the advice of Prime minister? Answers; Memebers of parliement Mayors Senators Citizens Obviously Senators was the answer but answers might differ, so just study the other applicable answers for the questions.

Thank you for the video. I just took my test Jan 19/2026 got 19/20 on my first attempt. I read 2 chapters of discover Canada, found it was hard to follow and watched this video 3 times instead. I took notes and read all the explanation with each questions. Wrote down the events according to timeline really helped. This video gave me a really solid foundation, but still had maybe 4-5 questions that wasn’t part of these questions.

Does anyone else feel like a minority in the town they were born. I was pulled over by the RCMP not long ago. They were both East Indians. One of which could barely speak proper English. I had an East Indian friend with me. I was interrogated more about being with an Indian woman than I was for speeding. I have scored 18 out of 20. 2 or 3 question was outside of this video. 1 that I can remeber was - The Canadian Coat of Arms symbolizes __ the answer suppose to be - Canada's history, unity, and heritage, blending British, French, and distinctly Canadian symbols, with the maple leaf representing all Canadians and the shield quadrants showing England (lions), France (fleur-de-lis), Scotland (lion), and Ireland (harp). I got that one wrong. Anothe one included a true/false question with the names of poet (not the names mentioned in the video). I marked it as true but I guess it also went wrong. Attempted my test in Jan 2026, yes this video helps but you must read the official discover Canada guide at least once and have a good knowledge of you local, provincial, federal government at current time. Also question from this video can be asked in form of true/false, so it’s important to pay proper attention to what you reading. Good luck.

What the 'polish' guy is saying and the 'redneck' guy is saying is pure bias!! If a 3000 sq ft home has 3 generations living then that would easily be anywhere from 5-12 people depending on the number of children or sibling the earning member(s) have. The only problem is when these homes are converted to rooming units. Otherwise it is perfectly legal for extended families to live under one roof as first immigrants to gain foothold and then move on!! Also, these immigrants and students are NOT housed in hotels and such, it is the refugees from Syria, Palestine and Ukraine (and other war torn countries) that Liberals brought in that are housed in hotels. If this is any comfort, many indians are actually choosing to go back to India as opportunities are better and more and they have seen what Canada has to offer.
