Just promoting racism bruh, I’m Pakistani and I live in Canada. I love Canada and I’m grateful for Canadians accepting me here. We’re 1 people, all on 1 planet, they show extremes and divide us. Much love ❤️to everyone, diversity is beuty, unity is amazing. Also these are the same people doing the lower end jobs of your economy, which I don’t wanna get technical, but it seems like this channel just helps create a community for racist or extreme opinions to thrive in. Your government accepted these people for a reason, Unity is good, discrimination is not.

I live in Brampton. And all I can say is thanks for visiting and spreading the word on this problem. I was born in Brampton, and my mother tells me about how much it's changed. Many of my friends and family friends have moved to other neighborhoods POST mosques being put up near their homes. And let's not talk about employment and foreign "students". I was lucky to get a job last summer at a family owned small business Ice Cream store right after high school. We even got a review saying we weren't diverse enough despite us being a group of White, East Asian and Black employees lol. And many people say if your not Indian and your getting your drivers test, you go out of Brampton to do the test because you'll likely get discriminated by who is running the test. It's absolutely absurd. It sounds like tin foil hat sh*t, but if you live here like me everything comes full circle. But ofc there are good ones, but they are typically the westernized ones, who have assimilated, they play or watch hockey and have developed a Canadian accent. But the majority haven't assimilated, they are likely first generation, and they do things like stuff 15+ people in one suburban home. And just small things like staring at you in public (idk why their community stares you down), they spit on sidewalks, and they use some crazy a$$ spices when they cook. The smell carries over for blocks and you know your in deep Brampton territory when your driving and that smell of spicy curry hits you and you gotta roll up them windows lol. It's a nasty smell. This mass migration is a huge issue and needs awareness.

I'm surprised no liberal voters are calling this dude a "racist" because it involves Indians. He is literally interviewing both sides of this issue. In my opinion, if the liberal government stays in power, and more and more liberal voters use the racism card on people who point out these issues just to make themselves feel like a good person, more and more major cities in Canada will be filled of them who either entered as an international student, or as an asylum seeker. It is not "multiculturalism" or "diversity" if there is only people from one culture coming to Canada? Where are the people from countries like Italy? Germany? Ukraine? Mexico? It is not racist to point out how in very few homes, most notably in Brampton, around 7 or more people live in one house. It is not racist to point out how these Indians need to learn to write and speak proper English. It is not racist to point out how they need to adapt to our civilized way of life here in Canada. It is not racist to point out the rise in crime done by people of Indian descent. It is not racist to point out how, coincidentally, the quality in Tim Hortons has dropped lately, when in a majority of them have workers of Indian descent, which are usually in major cities. How so? The liberal-imposed foreign worker plan, plus a little bit of corporate greed. It is not racist to point out that Indian "international students" are getting their food from food banks, which are supposed to be for the poor, and how some places of work only hire Indians, because they are run by Indians. Why is this discussion even about Indians? Because they make up HUGE majority of people coming to live in Canada. Matter of fact, this does not apply to Indians coming to Canada, but to whoever goes to live in another country. It does not take much out of you to at least adapt to the way of life in which ever country you go to. The conservative party sees this in a way that the liberals do not. Come back to this comment in another 10-20 years when the liberals are still in power. You'll see the difference.

Canadian values: human rights, fairness, and equality, alongside principles of multiculturalism, diversity, and respect for the law. So much for the principles of multiculturalism and diversity canadians keep bitching about.

It's so paradoxical that the indians back in India and abroad are projecting different outlooks about immigration and assimilation. I think it's absurd. In recent India, they look down upon immigration in India and complain about the lack of assimilation of immigrants to the diverse Indian culture. But abroad in another country as immigrants they want to protect their culture and do not want to assimilate to that country's culture or way of life. 😅 The comments about equality of humans, non discrimination etc made me laugh so much.. Ask them about the caste discrimination in their society, anti-conversion laws, attacks on sikhs, muslims, christians institutions/places of worship, and how they treat african students & other non-white races in India to have a better understanding on their views. 😂😅

Cultural clustering is a natural phenomenon. Even within India, if someone moves from the North to the South (or vice versa), they often seek out people from their own region/religion/community to feel a sense of familiarity and comfort. Brampton’s story reflects this same human instinct to find community and preserve traditions in a new place without disturbing the territorial harmony(but that didn't go well). At the same time, Indian culture and values are inherently inclusive, with a long history of adapting and coexisting with diverse communities. The real challenge lies not in immigrants forming close-knit groups, but in how well both newcomers and longtime residents accept and integrate with each other. When mutual respect and openness exist, diversity becomes a strength rather than a division. That said, the scale and pace of Brampton’s demographic change raise important policy questions. The Canadian government should have anticipated and planned for this transformation much earlier. Whether they did not act, or could not act, is a question only they can answer but it is central to understanding today’s challenges.

Thank-you so much for this video. I am a 54 year old, white Canadian woman. I have lived in Ontario my entire life, but I don't recognize it anymore, and, if I had the money, I would leave. We are being taken over by immigrants, and we aren't allowed to say anything about it, or we are called racists. It's so unfair! How is it OK, that we are forced to remain silent as we watch our country be taken over? Our housing, our jobs, our culture; it's all being handed over to immigrants, mainly from East India and Arab countries. Even my kid's school population has become 95% East Indians and Arabs. The remaining 5% are a mix of whites, blacks, and a couple of kids from the Philippines. There is no diversity. It's just so unfair!

I am so happy people are starting to speak up. Sadly, I am changing. I am becoming angry. Angry at immigrants and the system. Am I becoming racist? Or just so lost at how things seem so wrong. My main upset is for my teen son. Turned 16 after Christmas. So excited about looking for a part-time job, earning some money, getting experiences and (unbeknownst to him ) expanding his social circle. This excitement came from me. LIke all us Canadians who remember our first part-time jobs (mine was at a McDonalds), I regaled my son in stories of that first part-time job. How much I learned from it, and the so many benefits it would have for me as I got older. He listened, and couldn't wait to turn 16. Also, like most parents, I raised him on the benefits of working hard in school, getting good grades, learning, getting involved, etc. Do these things son, and you will have a good future. He listened. Honours student all his life. Played on school teams. Performed in talent shows, Volunteered his time, etc., etc. Not a bad resume for a first time teen seeking a job. It is now heading into September. He has applied at all the traditional teen job hotspots, (all the fast food joints, grocery stores, drug stores, etc). Dozens of resumes, online and in-person applications. Not a single response. Then I walk into the local Burger King. Not a single Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, or Far Eastern employee. All East Indian (or Pakistani). Suddenly I am really noticing this trend everywhere, especially in the franchise fast food industry; especially upsetting when I even see it in a Harvey's (even more Canadian than Timmies). It's either East Indians or Arabs. I don't know for how long I have been hearing about diversity and fair hiring practices (which I have always supported); but to see this trend makes me furious. Are the owners of these franchise exempt from fair hiring practices? Are they not taught we are a diverse country? This is wrong. I want to finish with two sad situations which we should all be concerned about. When my eldest was looking for part-time work after the pandemic, he walked into a Mr. Submarine. He asked if he could leave his resume or fill out an application. The Arab cashier told him in broken English they were not hiring. As he was walking out, a young Arab man walked in. He approached the same cashier and asked for an application. She gave him one. WTF. My last comment, is the most concerning of all. My 16 year old, who works so hard at school, and at everything he does, recently commented, after yet another non-reply after handing out a slew of resumes, "Dad... what's the use of working so hard if I can't even get a job at McDonalds." I wonder how many other Canadian teens are feeling the same way. Not just white teens. Black, Hispanic, Indigenous and East Asian teens. Seems the broken English East Indian and Arab teens and young adults aren't asking themselves that. How long until my son thinks I am just spewing BS about this hard work thing? This is not about racism. This is about fair hiring practices, especially in more and more franchises; however, I do find myself listening to more and more of these videos, and find myself developing sucb negative feelings towards these two cultures. This is not Canadian. To be thinking this way, especially, is not Canadian. What do we do? Speak up, and we are racist. Stay quiet, and our teen kids move into adulthood without job experience, money put away, or just having a life experience that any of us over 30 (no matter our race) experienced. Something has to change; but I haven't a clue how to do that.

My experience as a Canadian as we keep personal political, religious, racist beliefs to ourselves. Americans I found tend to bond to people based on these personal beliefs all too much. Love the diverse culture I live within in Canada. Should review the data on shootings in educational institutions in the US , you might be surprised how many days in a year these shootings do occur.

Why travel elsewhere? I have lived and worked in 12 different countries and figured that India has much more to travel and see within...Not many countries can match the diverse landcapes; Himachal/ Uttranchal, Kerala, North east, Goa, Rajasthan. You have hills, beaches, desert covered without a need of passport and Visa..

As a USA citizen, I am horrified by the stupidity, apathy, and disregard for collective upbringing in my country. A country founded on a peasent revolution, a country deeply rooted in diversity, enlightenment, and progression. Idk i think you need to realize that we also have our bias in addition to you having yours. Meaning, to most of us , excepting the most left leaning socially progressive pockets and contexts , which even then wouldn’t be viewed that way to us just acceptable lol ?\n\nOur baseline/political middle in Canada is A LOT more left leaning than the baseline normal/political middle in the states. So while people tend to equate your democrats to our liberals or our NDP , and equate your republicans to our conservatives. It’s just not accurate. If you throw our span of parties and American span of parties on the SAME spectrum /polarity line. You might be surprised to realize how shifted left our systems range politically is from the American one. \n\nThis hugely impacts the average normal expectation , what we clutch our pearls at hearing coming out of the mouths of the general public , and our range of what we expect to not hear or see ranted about unless they’re to our view , extremely right leaning politically /social values. \n\nFor us this means that actually genuinely , a lot of America does get experiences by us as bat shit crazy racist homophobic immigrant intolerant culturally and religiously ignorant , and somewhat backwards in larger or smaller amounts ? I know that’s not fun to hear but. Being the most diverse country based so much on immigration means. What is normal and known /familiar and normal so we aren’t ignorant to , is completely different. \n\nFor us we have our pockets usually in more rural less populated areas further away from larger cities where there is more diversity but that’s the same often in many countries that you will find some of the louder racist homophobic intolerant voices typically in places that truly are unfamiliar and ignorant to the experience of growing up with and around much of any diversity of varying kinds. So it’s not to say we don’t have racism and intolerance of course like anywhere we do. It’s just contained and the range and frequency and intensity is MUCH different. We distinguish nuances of diff cultures and religions more easily and in larger numbers we’re more familiar with diff ways of life , language , food, dress , holidays , values and used to a much less segregated way of existing even when we are differnt from each other as the NORM. My parents were both born in the states and my older brother was born there but they moved up here when he was a baby. So nearly all my extended family lives down there and I’m a duelly. And my experiences discussing things with my cousins or visiting absolutely could be described as culture shock at times. The insane things that came out of my own cousins mouths when they hear our friends or partners of various cultures , our not understanding how big a deal and incredibly insulting apparently it is to have assumed someone American was lgbt lol the list goes on. Like I don’t think our most intolerant Pockets can hold a flame to even ur closet to middle a bit intolerant places and contexts in America. As a us citizen, we embrace diversity and imsure canadians do too. But when it gets too much from mass migration from india and china, its not so diverse anymore. Its basically like taking over a foreign country except no single gun shots are ever being fired. This is whats happening recently in toronto. Hey,\n\nI don’t know how popular you are but I am hoping that you (or someone else reading) can make some short shareable etiquette videos for Indian immigrants. I am constantly annoyed by the following, but because I was born in Canada, I would be cancelled for saying the things you can. I am also Indian. Here’s the list that comes to mind. I might come back and edit this because I am sure there are things I am forgetting: \n\n- coughing into your elbow instead of your hands (literally watched a guy yesterday on the bus cough into his hands then put his hands onto the support bar)\n\n- Standing to the side and letting people off the train so you can get on instead of trying to walk through people who are trying to get off \n\n- Standing up and moving to the side to let somebody off on an inside seat of the bus. I have a butt. I don’t want to be squeezing by you \n\n- Taking off their backpack while standing on the bus and putting it between their legs\n\n- Moving to the back of the bus instead of crowding by the doors\n\n- Standing in lines to get onto the bus instead of crowding\n\n- Not littering. Either put your garbage in the bin or take it with you. Stop leaving it on the beach or on hiking trails.\n\n- Learn about hiking before attempting it. We have people going up in jeans and flip flops in the evening and getting stuck on mountains or injured. Some wear running shoes but they don’t have enough traction for the trail\n\n- Shovel the sidewalk in front of your home when it snows\n\n- Stop dousing yourself with axe body spray. \n\n- Understand that Indian food makes your clothes smell. It gives off oils that get stuck in everything. Open your windows and doors when cooking to minimize this as much as possible. You won’t be able to resolve this entirely but do what you can. The skytrain now smells like Indian food even when empty. \n\n- Stop riding your bikes and scooters on the sidewalk. It’s illegal and you have a responsibility to learn the rules \n\n- Stop hiring everybody that you know. Before nepotism was all about networking, but nowadays, it seems to be about hiring Indian people that you know. I am being discriminated by employers because they think I will do the same once I am in. Diversity in teams matters. Indian immigrants don’t seem to believe in this and think all that matters is the most qualified get the job. This is how you end up building facial recognition models that don’t recognize Black people. \n\n- You work at McDonald’s. Stop blasting Indian music. The McDonald’s by my place is blasting Indian music from the back and it overtakes the restaurant music. \n\n- In a work environment, even if it is all Indians, speak English. You ostracize your fellow colleagues and customers. You are also not improving your English skills by speaking in your primary language.\n\n- Make an effort to make non-Indian friends. It’s really intimidating even as an Indian to see large packs of Indian men\n\n- Learn how to swim. Every year we have multiple drownings at a lake because Indian people are unprepared for the reality of the water. This is a basic safety skill.\n\n- Stop staring at women. Even as an Indian woman I get stared at by these guys. Just stop. \n\n- Get headphones. Playing music or having conversations on speakerphone in public places is rude and very inconsiderate of others \n\n- Stop cheating. Whether that’s cheating the system or during classes. We grow up here and environment that even though we can cheat, the culture makes it completely unethical and you just don’t. The consequences are significant. I get it that you come from a country that doesn’t have enough resources for its population, but you give the entire Indian community a bad name when you cheat, lie, and do other unethical things.\n\n- Learn about Canadian values. The Canadian charter of rights and freedoms exists. Under it cases were won supporting equality for women, LGBTQ rights, etc. this is built into our constitution and it’s so ridiculous to come across people who don’t adopt Canadian values. Why choose Canada if you want a culture of what’s back at home. \n\n- I get it that our healthcare system needs to improve but am disappointing reading advocacy for private healthcare in Indian Facebook groups in Canada. Tommy Douglas was voted as the greatest Canadian. He is the founding father of our nationalized healthcare system. For the most part, Canadian are happy that we don’t have a healthcare system like the United States, where your access is determined by your employer or your income. We don’t go bankrupt when we have a health emergency. Go back to India or go to another place where you can pay for private healthcare, but stop advocating to transition our healthcare system to a private system. The racism against Germans that is so openly expressed in the comments here is unbearable. Yes, there are some bad people in Germany (basically in any country on this planet, unfortunately) who are themselves racist or discriminatory. But that is by no means the majority of Germans. I have lived here for decades and have met the most warm-hearted people. From the comments I rather gather that many who come to Germany simply extremely overestimate the demands they can (and may) make of Germany (or pretty much any other immigration-friendly country). If you come to Germany it is obvious that you have to learn German (or the local language). That is the case everywhere, including France, Italy and Korea - you name it. And if you can't do that straight away that's okay too, most Germans speak English and are very forgiving when it comes to language learners. Nobody shouts at you for not knowing German. Furthermore, Germans are very direct and don't care much about artificial and feigned friendliness. What you see is what you get. And I think that's honest and quite refreshing. \n\nThe thing is, YOU have to approach Germans and can't just expect them to roll out the red carpet for you just because you think they are in need of your workforce. The simple truth is: the standard of living in Germany is very high. The culture is diverse, and anyone who doesn't recognize this should broaden their horizons. Cities like Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart and Hamburg are beautiful, extremely multicultural and anyone who describes them as 'dull' will probably not feel at home in any city on this planet. The people are also nicer than many non-germans claim - that's obvious, because if that weren't the case, Germany wouldn't be the most popular country to immigrate within Europe amongst immigrants. Of course there are problems on the German side too. Bureaucracy, language barriers and discrimination. But they definitely don't deserve the unreasonable racism they face here in the comments. You can't criticize Germans for their alleged discriminatory behavior by unreasonably attacking and generalizing Germans themselves. Anyone who approaches Germans with prejudice and racism should not be surprised if they do not receive a friendly welcome there...

You make the life of a digital nomad and you consciously choose to have no roots. Canada is a very diverse place. It very probably do not worth living in sythern Ontrio ad in the Vancouver area. But there is plenty of other places in Canada much more affordable and interesting. Me coming from Québec and iving there make me think that you could have choose to come to live here and intergrate yourself into our society. Take for example the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean where i come from more precisely. I guees you never went there. And believe me this in another country in comparison with Vancouver and the whole of southern Ontario. In my mind you should choose to setlle and make babies. This being done you could still live in the nomadic world to a cetain point and be into the digital world.

So many Canadians in the same situation — perhaps use your Canadian passport ? so many better places for you to be… find a nice job across the border in the US — it’s so easy to get a TN work Visa, or work tax free in the UAE, or build a nice career in Singapore. I had the same problem with Australia — it’s my home, and my heart will always fondly call it home forever. Australia is a big country with small job market, generally ignorant (but nice) people and limited economic diversity. One gets proper civic amenities only in either Melbourne or Sydney e.g., top notch medical care, a wide variety of groceries etc. Taxation is very high and although some people will tell you “we are well taken care of…” that is not true nowadays. The Australian Government’s policies over the last 40 years destroyed manufacturing, the economy, working conditions and inflated the property market. A reasonable 2-bedroom apartment in a Sydney suburb could cost you Au$2000-3000 in rent or Au$500,000+ to buy — and that goes higher as you get closer to downtown Sydney. The problem is that incomes are not high enough in Australia and housing quality is less than average overall for these ridiculous prices. Food, tolls and petrol cost a lot, although Sydney and Melbourne’s fresh food markets give you better prices than you’ll find in most other cities. My wife and I had a combined income of over Au$300,000/year while we lived there. We finally left Australia and moved to the US because even with our relatively high income we could only have an average house for around Au$1.8 million, we couldn’t fill up the tub and have a proper bath because of water restrictions, our kids would get an average schooling and their only dream in life would be to one day own a house. We didn’t want to live like that, so we wrapped up and left for good. The US is much better for skilled people — I don’t mean plumbers, tilers, roofers or landscapers, although life is good for them too. I’m sure someone will reply to this comment about the gun violence in the US. All I can say is that in the US we have the option to defend ourselves whereas in Australia we are expected to quietly die if someone kicks us in the head, stabs us or shoots us. Quality of life is good here in the US for me and my family. Fly free, mate!

As a born and raised minority in America I see that the people who are born here are being taken advantage of by the ideology of endless diversity, it's great everyone is trying to be tolerant but don't take it too far, still retain an identity because any place won't be the same when there is too much change the people can't handle. If the population can handle lots of immigration, then nations can decide to benefit from immigrants and vice versa.

I’m in Vancouver at the mo, been here for several months over the past year (from London, UK) … I don’t think this is much of a problem (check the size of the ‘crowd’ at the beginning) in reality, just blown up by the usual handful of RW windbags … it’s diverse and friendly here … sure they need to build more houses … just do it, this is Canada ffs, not the uk … population density in Canada overall is about 4 persons per sq km, in the UK it’s around 280 … and I don’t think that the UK is even full, in reality. Governments need to stop pandering to the landlord class (of which too many politicians are a part and profit from the status quo)

I've lived most of my life in the DMV and right outside of New Orleans and recently moved to the Bay Area in California. The comment about the US being statistically diverse but culturally segregated is true pretty much everywhere but mostly in the south. The different cultures intermingle wayyyy more in the Bay Area

I am an Indian immigrant who came here in 2008, and I 100% agree with the message of this video. The immigration crisis is out of hand because corporations exploit students, the students asking for too much, the government not doing anything about it, and not bringing in people to fill needed roles. \n\nThe government must focus on lowering overall immigration targets by being more diverse with their recruitment, along with focusing on improving specific sectors.

But things aren't that easy. \nThey aren't the native to the land of Israel, but they migrated there, thus, taking and capturing the lands of the native. Due to some reason or the another, things didn't sit well between them and now there's a war. That's a different thing to discuss. \n\nNow the refugee crisis, I agree with the reporter here. Since the Arab countries and the refugees share a common religion and how they boast about their harmony and brotherhood. It's only reasonable and justifiable for the Arab worlds to take the initiative to welcome the refugees by standing at the forefront of the line. But that certainly isn't the case. That's why they deflect such questions and turn it around on the asker to question their own values. A neat psychological trick of diversion to save themselves from addressing the real issues and questions. \n\nThe refugees then migrate to Europe since they accepted them, and then they try to establish their religious identity in those countries which doesn't even belong to them nor they are a native of that place. This disrupts the harmony on the people already residing there as natives and with time, they push the natives back enough till they're not a majority anymore and these Islamist refugees become a majority. Take the case of Britain as an example. This leads to feeling of resistance and then uproar among the natives. Which is already happening there and so is in France. Then those refugees will demand a separate land for themselves which they don't even deserve and belong to. And hence, it leads to civil crisis, and then, a war.\n\nNotice the pattern?

Toronto born and raised and a 4th generation Canadian, I loved Toronto so much! As a boy, I was lucky enough to live in a large house at Yonge and St. Clair. Early on we didnt even have to lock the doors or lock up our bikes. We had Beckers corner stores and played tag and baseball down on Summerhill Ave. Fast forward several decades and I have been living in small town USA. By no means is this country even close to perfect but the town I live in is safe, clean and not nearly as populated as Toronto. I am heading back there for a visit and look forward to having my mind blown at the volume of humans that I will see there. I loved the diversity and the amazing food but the housing shortage and ridiculous prices for rent/housing make it next to impossible for even an income earner of my stature want to go back. I cant afford to buy a house there and I make pretty good money. I will love to visit and it is where I am from but I dont see myself moving back there. That makes me sad. Thank you for the video!

Canadian govt needs to control the how much of each race they gonna let in... on one hand the govt might have a population target but on the otherhand they should strive to study the demographic target or balabce n include it in ghrif plans .... at somd point the govt must be willing to compromise the population target to a healthy bslance of demographics.. it cant be free for all as there more thsn 1 billion indians & the majority of them will take any opportunity to jum in any 1st worl country... n indians im not being a racist but have one of the stongest culture n civilization... if u chose a majority of the immigrant pool from them.. they will a not adopt to the host country's culture but instead uphold their culture n eventually impose it bec they have numbers.. indians tend to favor fellow indians in recruiting for a job..... they have no qualms priotirizing an indian in india vs say a chinese in canada...once the indians get a hold of a company u will notice all the employees become indians in time.... its bec they indianize thd work culture, no longer inclusive n diverse.. also they practice nepotism (hiring friends, cowrkers, neighbors from theirprevious lives in india), they only talk their language among them, they keep info n knowledege related to work between them, they collaborate only with fellow indians, bangladeshi.. indians are like this anywhere. I lived in Brampton until middle of 2009. There seemed to be a good mix of cultures and lots of diversity then. I'm surprised to see that it changed so much. I'm okay with people from wherever and why not India, but it's disturbing that there are so many drug addicts and homeless people. Is it the immigration or is it because of the kind of people who stayed in Brampton? Did they stay because they had no choice? It makes no sense though that so many people left this city. Well, I left it too. Edmonton is a much nicer place than anywhere in the GTA.

Don't blame the students. Blame the govt. All this is drama and Trudeau pretending to aquiescent to the protests. If he really wanted he can deport immediately, to hell with the protests and especially because of the soaring relationship with India, he should do it. But he won't because he doesn't want to. He just wants vote bank and too much diversity i really believe. Over progressive for anybody's good.
