My cousin came to canada under a 1 year work visa,, shes white french woman.. Speaks 5 languages, has 3 degrees, ran a business in France.. she landed here 1 years ago,, had to spend 400$ to prove she speaks ENGLISH, (she speaks it fluently),, she paid taxes the moment she landed and got a job, bought a car, a small apartment. Everything Canadian,, not like these degenerate scum sucking immigrants. Had to spend another 500$ to extend her visa for another year.. Everything was going well. Until these worthless liberal cockroaches knocks on her door and told her she has 1 month to leave, because shes taking a JOB away from a CANADIAN!!!.. Are you fuckin kidding me.. These worthless ungrateful, self serving pakis, indies and chinese and who knows what else we let in, are getting subsidies to work at tim hortons,, Walmart,, canadaian tires.. Meanwhile our real Canadian kids can't get summer jobs or part times,, because of these worthless immigrants. Shes corporate, she doesn't take small coffee serving jobs..

The tim hortons are served by philipinos and indians where i am. And then the customer base is segregated by race to the specific locations.

I'd rather deal with the Indian people serving me coffee at Tim Hortons than the Caucasian-Canadian junkies and crackheads standing outside the Tim Hortons begging me for change.

There's a big influx of them working at Wal-Mart and Tim Hortons here in Thunderbay Ontario. I was at moneymart a few months back and got served by a beautiful indian woman. I cashed my check and took her out on a date. Happy to say we're going steady lol

I can’t find no damn job. But it’s fine I’m gonna have to go the entrepreneur route. If I don’t then my future children will be doomed. Why tf is there no diversity at Tim Hortons and Walmart? The workplace should display a representation of various groups of people. Hello Sir, with due respect: i am an international student from INDIA, you are always welcome to stay in any of the 30 provinces in India! My question to you is, if an International student is spending 7000 cad each semester and completing a 2 yr program with total fee paid 28000 to 35000 CAD excluding the exorbitant rent like 1500 per month and grocery and personal tax, would definitely wish to get back some of the money they invested here in Canadian land, am i right? Would you be thinking the same way if you invest in India? Secondly, none of the employers are offering any white collar job or office job to these students unless otherwise they have Permanent Residency status here in Canada: the only way to get “PR” is to work for some pizza store or tim hortons- its not by choice, only jobs you have here in Canada for any students and now construction field too. So kindly don’t judge any international student from any part of the world on their skills. All we need is a way out by Planning our future. Lots of comments are on these kids: just imagine on a sports day or a national holiday or on a stormy day who will be serving you a double double? Who will do Uber… Please dont hate, just like any human we would love to be respected and we are not going to take back anything from Canada. Thank you

i have a few bad experiences with east indians ( pls. note am not hating, just expressing my dissapointment.\n1) i went to Tim Horton with my 2 other friends and ordered coffe, we waited 5 minutes one of my friend got his coffee after 5 mins.\nmy other friend 8 mins. and already at this moment they're giving coffees from people who were behind us... which is east indians - 10 mins. i still didn't get my coffee and i asked them twice about my order and these people behind me were already enjoying their coffee...i finally got my coffee when my friends almost done with theirs.\nI barely go to Tim Hortons anymore.\n2) Domo gas station - i asked for premium and the served me regular gas ?\ni don't know if the're paying attention to their job or just intentionally doung it.

If like 80% weren't useless, it wouldn't be a problem. How many foreigners have killed Canadians? How many of them in Tim Hortons or fast food care about the staff and food they serve? I work in small towns across Canada and over the years, I’ve seen these charming towns, such as a Yellowknife, Whitehorse, Meadow Lake Saskatchewan, turn into Punjab . And sadly as much as the Punjabi culture is fascinating, Punjabi people do not have Canadian ways, nor are they skilled in our national languages, which makes it very difficult for Canadians to interact with them, or get served by them at the service jobs. Just ordering a coffee at Tim Hortons. It has become stressful. Nine out of 10 times I’ll get the order wrong because of language barriers. I am all for multiculturalism, but there is no more Canadian identity left in Canada.

I was born in Canada in the 80s. My parents are from India. So call me racist if it gets you off. My ass is browner than yours probably. \nMy parents, and my uncles and aunts who came here in the late 1970s had to work their asses off to prove they were worthy of even ENTERING Canada, let alone to live in the country. ALL of my older male relatives who came to Canada at that time had a PhD in a science related field or was a medical doctor. EVEN then, they had to go through years of re-training in Canadian schools in order to have a shot at PR. And they persevered and did it, and did well. \nNow, anyone and their dog is allowed in, and it's kind of an insult to all my relatives had to accomplish in order to build a life here. They had to earn doctorates and medical degrees TWICE (once in India and again in Canada).\nWell, that generation did well, and now we're the kids who are grateful and enjoying the sacrifice they put in. What will the kids of illiterate, minimum wage workers be like? Probably not so good.\nCanada's probably done. But does the average Canadian have any desire to do anything. Nope. They used to value hard work and ambition when I was growing up but Canadian culture has become lack of ambition, and entitlements just for existing. \nSo, at least I was raised with the idea of working to no end and sacrificing in order to accomplish something in life. Now, I have the resources to live where I like and do. I’m starting to understand Quebec separatism as your identity is your family and family is everything.
