To be honest this is something all political party’s from across the spectrum agree with in Canada at the moment, we literally have no housing . We the Canadian Tax payer have been footing rbe bill to keeo these immigrants/ refugees in rather nice 3/4 Hotles for the last few years . There are many of us who don't like this and don't want it, but there are many Canadians who are bleeding hearts and weak who just accept it. They're going to outbreed us and eventually completely takeover and completely ruin the country. Canada is not the same place that I remember from my childhood. It has become the capitol of woke ideology, weakness, and completely overrun by Indians. Not to mention that we used to be a Christian country. I’m a proud Indian who is now a Canadian citizen, and I’ve made a conscious effort to assimilate into Canadian culture and values. What bothers me is how this conversation has been reduced to blaming one group. The reality is that the Canadian government failed first by not properly managing immigration volumes, not enforcing document verification, and not honestly assessing whether the country could support such rapid population growth. That policy failure created pressure on housing, jobs, and social systems long before resentment followed. We also need honesty within the Indian community. Some Indians struggle to adapt being overly loud, culturally rigid, and sometimes lacking empathy for Canadian norms and shared public spaces. I studied Canadian and Indigenous history in school, and respecting that history matters. Assimilation doesn’t mean abandoning your culture, but it does mean understanding and respecting the society you chose to join. Cultural education should be expected, not optional. That said, one Indian doing something wrong does not make all Indians bad. Most Indian students and workers I know are hardworking, punctual, and serious about contributing. I’ve personally worked minimum-wage jobs for years, and what I noticed was not jobs being “taken,” but fewer Canadian youth willing to stay in or commit to these roles long-term. Indians didn’t replace Canadians, they filled vacancies that already existed. I also briefly volunteered helping the homeless, and what I saw was honestly shocking. It’s not that the government isn’t trying to help there are rehabilitation programs and support systems in place. The difficult truth is that a significant portion of the homeless population struggles with substance abuse and refuses treatment because it requires giving up drugs. Over time, homelessness itself starts to function like a culture, where benefits and assistance unintentionally enable continued substance use rather than recovery. This is an uncomfortable reality people don’t like to talk about. None of this is simple. Immigration didn’t break Canada, and neither did one community. Poor policy, weak enforcement, lack of accountability, and refusal from governments and individuals to adapt responsibly is what brought us here. Blame is easy. Honest solutions are not.

I’m an Indian, and let me state the reality clearly. India has repeatedly warned Canada that many individuals seeking asylum there include criminals facing serious charges or jail time in India. Some exploit the Khalistan narrative to falsely claim political persecution, allowing them to gain asylum and citizenship. These networks have contributed to gang wars, drug trafficking, and rising violence in Canada. Khalistani extremists have a proven history of terrorism, including the Air India bombing Canada’s deadliest terror attack. If Canada genuinely wants to curb shootings, drug cartels, and organized crime, it must treat Khalistani extremist groups as terrorist organizations and stop offering safe haven to criminals. This is not about Sikhs,peaceful people. The problem arises when criminals and extremists are protected under the guise of activism. My brother works for immigration Canada, he said that although Carney said immigrants are deported, but in reality his government is bringing in more Asylum refugees into Canada, which means Canadians will have to take care of them with their tax dollars. The reality is that way too many of them come here to go on welfare + get a social housing + aaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllll the free services: free school, free healthcare, surgeries, special schools for handicapped kids. The birth rate in Canada is 1.3 per couple. In 1961 it was 3.1 per couple. Coincidentally, this was the same time as the availability of the first birth control pill. It’s been on a downward trend ever since. Populations can’t sustain themselves. Most western countries have the same problem. So we immigrate, and the countries with the highest birth rates will eventually take over the countries with the lowest it’s a sad reality.

Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Have a fast track rotating incentive down to the year along with guaranteed on job training for all occupations. Such a simple solution so stupid we can't execute it. I wonder if they discussed how when Indian students who unalive themselves in Canada, the deaths are not treated as such. There are many families who have the remains of their kids (usually young males) repatriated and the death is left unclear. The gov’t of Canada has been obfuscating many such deaths. I’ve worked in the field for almost 20 years with youth and that money never arrived, nor has any serious attempt to fund programs occurred since the brutal Canadian pandemic policies massively exacerbated the youth mental health crisis. Perhaps one day someone will be able to trace how the 5 Billion promised was send off in provincial transfers that did not benefit any programs and likely only helped pay for all the upper management, because Canada’s healthcare, education and mental health care systems are absurdly top-heavy. I am an immigrant came to Canada in 2014. The immigration system in Canada right now is not let every body in this country, is only allowed low/non skills workers and fraud applications in. I have a friend from China who got a bachelor degree from university of Waterloo and worked at downtown Toronto as a finance person for $500k per year which is extreme high in Canada. But he could not get his permanent resident because he is not what Canada needs as the immigration system. But immigration system is giving lots of pathway on low skills workers who can bring his/her whole families inside the country. These low skills workers need to find employers to do many complicated admin works for the application. In reality, no employers are willing to do such a complicated admin works for a minimum wages worker. So these people are paying the the employers to do the admin works without a single day working. Once they get the permanent residency, they just stay in Canada without working, paying taxes or try to become a Canadian. But for these people who have a high-pay job with high degrees, Canada is kicking them out of this country.

Healthcare in Canada is only a promise, the reality is the wait-list, every step of the way. I took a 17-month wait for a mri and cut it down to 17 hours, cutting a multi-year process down to 6 days. To get a mri in Canada is not easy there are only a smattering of private options if you want to pay, but you still have to wait 3 weeks, and it will cost $3500. I said screw it, bought a plane ticket, flew to Bangkok arriving on a Saturday, saw a doctor on Sunday, had a mri on Monday, and got the results on Friday. Then I spent the next week sitting on a beach. The total cost all in was $1900. I am not fussy, I'll accept any hospital in any country that will accept me.

The sad reality is that if our government wasn't taxing our young Canadians to death from the moment they get started at attempting to build a future for themselves, the young Canadians would actually be putting thought into having children and starting families.
