Honestly, they are great people and I think they bring a lot of culture and family orientation back to Canada I feel like it’s roots. I mean, we are the first generation with cell phones so things aren’t gonna go well for the first generation so I hope to see change in the next, but I really hate the racism. The thing that never seems to be brought up is East Indians 80% own houses. They come here and they own houses and have businesses that they ONLY hire East Indians, have East Indian clientele ONLY because they all pay cash so they can circumvent the taxes. Thanks for bringing light to this huge problem in canada. No joke indians have quickly become like 30% of the workforce here. They take over businesses and refuse to hire non Punjab people because they won't fit in the workplace culture. They've been taking the excessive handouts from the Canadian government and are slowly buying up tons of real estate. Its everywhere in canada. Brampton is just ground zero. What's it like? We just got a new Walmart down the street. They took a staff picture and it was 80% indian people. Hardly any locals got jobs there instead its mostly "new citizens" who have lived here less than a year or two. Every day there's more of them. And because of our liberal government and tax breaks and all sorts of racist allowances these people have got, they all have money and houses and new cars when they were dirt poor in India like 3 years ago. They get interest free loans from banks, they get daily per diems and housing as soon as they get here. Keep in mind tent cities are growing rapidly in Canada. And our government is spending HUGE amounts of our tax dollars to subsidize this takeover. And try living here and renting. Due to this influx, a bungalow that was 1500 a month 10 years ago, is now 4500 a month and youre renting off an Indian person. Word to the wise tho, dont even bring up the tow truck businesses. They'll shoot you And last but not least our retarded government just passed a birthright citizen law for them. So now if you come here from India even if only for a couple years, ALL subsequent offspring of yours can immediately get citizenship here no question asked. We are so fucked

As a non Indian Canadian born and raised I’m disgusted where my country has gone. Our population has doubled since 1980, not by birth rate, but because of the amount of Indians that have immigrated here. Unfortunately, they have no desire to assimilate, they bring their own culture and they stay in their own communities. The government offers tax breaks for businesses, hiring foreign workers over people born in Canada, leaving the youth without any part-time work. On top of that some of my favourite restaurants growing up, I haven’t eaten at in years because it’s been taken over by Indians, the quality of food goes down, you end up getting food poisoning and if you aren’t in their community, you get worse service and get charged more than what an Indian would pay at the same restaurant. They don’t understand cleanliness or sanitation, they leave their garbage and waste on the street and dump it in random locations, and quite frankly have no respect for anyone who lives here or the country that has taken them in. I feel like a minority of my own country and I truly don’t understand what being Canadian means anymore because I’m pretty sure being Canadian is a thing of the past. Most of my friends have moved further north, to Vancouver island or moved out to the prairies to get away from them and higher prices as everything gets more expensive, thanks to our government, caring more about immigrants than citizens. When a family gets accepted to come here they bring their parents their aunts and uncles their brothers and sisters on temporary visas, they also collect social assistance as soon as they arrive and when their visas expire, they have no desire to go back, which has resulted in thousands of illegals remaining here. I mean I get it. Why would you go back when you’re getting treated better here and are given food, housing and an allowance every month but it’s gotten to a point where India outnumbers Canadians. I want them all sent back.

I live in Brampton. And all I can say is thanks for visiting and spreading the word on this problem. I was born in Brampton, and my mother tells me about how much it's changed. Many of my friends and family friends have moved to other neighborhoods POST mosques being put up near their homes. And let's not talk about employment and foreign "students". I was lucky to get a job last summer at a family owned small business Ice Cream store right after high school. We even got a review saying we weren't diverse enough despite us being a group of White, East Asian and Black employees lol. And many people say if your not Indian and your getting your drivers test, you go out of Brampton to do the test because you'll likely get discriminated by who is running the test. It's absolutely absurd. It sounds like tin foil hat sh*t, but if you live here like me everything comes full circle. But ofc there are good ones, but they are typically the westernized ones, who have assimilated, they play or watch hockey and have developed a Canadian accent. But the majority haven't assimilated, they are likely first generation, and they do things like stuff 15+ people in one suburban home. And just small things like staring at you in public (idk why their community stares you down), they spit on sidewalks, and they use some crazy a$$ spices when they cook. The smell carries over for blocks and you know your in deep Brampton territory when your driving and that smell of spicy curry hits you and you gotta roll up them windows lol. It's a nasty smell. This mass migration is a huge issue and needs awareness.

Thank you for showcasing this city. Brampton has long been the armpit of Peel Region, and the cause of many of the rest of our issues. The new entitled migrants that come here spill out into other areas of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) spreading the crime and loitering, and essentially "taking over" certain places and causing massive issues. Our Car insurance rates in Peel are insanely high, primarily because of Brampton also being a part of Peel, and the high accident and theft rates coming out of that city. We have a massive issue here in Canada with unchecked mass immigration, and we don't see do be doing anything about removing the people who have overstayed their welcome, aswell as an issue with letting the new population move only to the same already developed places, overpopulating those areas that never had the infrastructure to support those numbers of people. Especially the households that are housing more families than just their own, the people who arent citizens that are clogging up our healthcare systems, all the jobs taken up by the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, the lack of openings in universities and colleges because of international students. Its unbelievable how much they take advantage of the system.

The old Dutch guy in the interview was right. When my father applied to bring us to Canada, we went through many tests and procedures, police checks from back home, and even from the FBI to prove we had never been to North America and the process lasted almost a year and a half. No money was given to our family, my dad was working our step mother was working; but now all these immigrants get in quick and free. I have a friend that works for a bank and he tells me people who can't even speak English or French show up and deposit government cheques for 30 or 40 thousand dollars. What about Canadians born and raised here, some need help, they don't get big cheques. There has to be a stop to all this influx of people coming from other countries who have it really easy once they're here, thanks to the government. I'm not anti-immigration, as I'm an immigrant myself, but this BS has to stop.

Humans, like any other animals, have survival instincts. Seeing a threat, would make me scared of all related things as a threat. Our prejudices develop and little few percentage in any community can make us hate the whole community. I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. He felt alone and found some people and the internet to make himself feel better temporary. TEMPORARY! He hates it here, but he respects Canadians. He feels sorry for the new ones that are coming to become debt trap. It's the same for the pharmacy. She got into college to be a pharmacy and bought the store. She is on low income but doesn't qualify for any supports like benefits to pay off her medical things. The reason she can't because they'll see the pharmacy store is income. Wait what? So she doesn't quilify for benefits because she's making income to pay off her massive loan to do her job. It's not enough to live by as what she told me. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. I thought in Brampton, Ontario was the rudest people on the planet, but was saved by the angels of indian people saved me out of the vehicle from the smoke. I still thank you! There is still good people out there and some are stupid people out there. Keep it up because being kind gets you to be positive to others and make things better when the world is fcked right now.
