My heart hurts watching this. As an American, I respect and agree with Prime Minister Trudeau. Canada has been a kind and generous ally, and our current government leaders are just coming up with excuses for this stupid ass trade war. \n\nI am so sorry to all the Canadian citizens whom this negatively impacts. I hope you will show grace to those of us who voted against Trump and who continue to stand up to this tyrant.

Please don’t say ‘they’. Say ‘Trump’. Most of us don’t want this either…. Most of us understand how stupid this and do not understand the thought process of this dictator that somehow got back into office over here. He is embarrassing, uneducated and will hurt our country with his ridiculous rhetoric, lack of vocabulary and bullying tactics with our allies. It is inconceivable for many of us. I appreciate your every word. I wish you weee our president. Please know ‘We the people’ on both sides of the border are going to hurt from Trump’s stupid unfathomable decisions. I hope you can look through and see past the people here or not on the side of the decisions being made and know that once Trump is out Office, we can establish our ties with you and continue with the friendship we’ve had for so long and create agreements to profit both countries and caused the least of services in the most stability for each other. It’s a shame for what is happening and completely unnecessary.

The us relationship isn’t just deteriorated between them and Canada \nIt is the same for any other country in the world just now \nThe US doesn’t have a genuine friend now anywhere other than Russia and North Korea \n\nFrankly, I hope Trump continues his stupidity and it kills the US because the only way to demonstrate to the immense dumb electorate that supports Trump is for his own idiocy to hurt them. Trump has damaged relationships between our countries that will take a long time to repair. I did not vote for Trump and I wholeheartedly accept that Canada has to respond strongly to his harmful, stupid tariff policies. It’s going to hurt us all.

I've been saying since Trump said that he's going to put tarrifs on Canada, that's going to hurt the US in the economy and jobs and well here we are..\n\nAnd to think that some people think Trump is doing a great job with all this, is mind boggling.. but I guess they can't see through his lies and stupidity.

Tarrifs hurts the countries consumers nothing else. Big companies dont give a damn about your Tarrifs Trump, they just put it on the consumers and thats us. Good God man we had a dummy as President last year we dont need another dummy in the White House. These Tarrifs are stupid. ?

Trump is so dumb. The countries don’t care about his stupid tariffs as it will only hurt us Americans. Tariffs get passed on to us and not the country being tariffed ?
