Stand up against the dictatorship in Canada

I’m an Aussie who stands with World law and Order, the rule of law. I stand against Trump, Russia, North Korea and all dictatorships and autocrats. Shame on them, evil criminals all. Bravo and all support for Canada, Mexico, Ukraine and a refreshingly strengthened Europe and Scandinavia.

American here. My take? This is not about protectionism this is about isolationism. \nWhy would Trump want this? This is about becoming the first American dictator of the Western Hemisphere. \nHyperbolic? Nope. Trump controls the Senate, House, Doge, Project 2025 is in the White House, all the branches of the Defense Department, the Attorney General and his offices, six of the nine seats on the Supreme Court, and assigned over 250 Federal judgeships to the Federal courts which are a lifetime appointment. The ONLY thing that is standing in the way of Trump are the Federel judges that actually understand the constitution and do not want to destroy this nation. The fly in the ointment? Courts can issue an order based on the constitution or our laws, but does not have any way to enforce them if Trump should just disregard their order. That is how close we are to a dictatorship.\nWake Up America.?\n P.S. Sorry Canada! Coalesce, find new trade partners, and leave the United States behind. We are no longer worthy of your friendship.

Dear Canada. We the people the good citizens of these divided states do not condone what trump is putting your country and the rest of the world through! So Trudeau calls Putin a liar and a murderous dictator but we all remember a few years ago, the same PM declaring is admiration for China's dictatorship. On a trip in Europe he even downgraded is own people while trying to suck up to the Germans. A few years ago Trudeau said that Canadians didn't really have an identity and announced that he wished to make Canada the first post national country in history. I'm sorry guys, I do not like the tariffs but I just cannot stand this guy!

Putin is an evil leader and so is Kim Jong Un. Building alliances with those evil leaders puts us at risk with God. God is One of order and love. What a big difference between the speaches of DJT , Trump is trying to get Americans to believe that he is the savior of the USA. Justin Trueau is an intelligent and serious leader of Canada - compliment! \nHe stumbles along with a very limited vocabulary in his speeches, speeches in which any normal person can hear how little intelligence and substance there is behind these words. \nNow he is blackmailing the victim of the Russian war instead of the perpetrator, just as he is sacrificing everything the free world stands for for his confused fantasies. \nHe is now even demanding a third term in office, although in the first few days he has already brought more harm to the people than any president before him. \nThis is the direct path to a dictatorship in the Putin model.

A brilliant speech. Honest and forthright. But lets get to the nitty gritty. It's about time the rest of the world realized that life does not revolve around the USA. There is NATO and even though political views differ there is a union to assist each other. America is on the path to a Dictatorship. Trump has the means and the backing to do it. If he gets his third term this will become a reality and there appears no one is prepared to stand in his way.

Fleeing the country isn't the answer. There are a lot of things you don't know about central America, and Panama ain't no paradise. Also these are countries riddled with dictatorships and coups. Take a look at Guatemala and currently El Salvador. May be fine for foreigners, but soon you'll find yourself jailed in your own house. As a 1rst gen immigrant, I choose to fight because if no one fights, we lose automatically. Better die standing on your own 2 feet than live as a coward.

I love Canada , sorry to bust your bubble, but life isn’t golden everywhere you go, people come here, generally, because they couldn’t stand where they were living, and were unhappy, and for some reason expected us to be heaven. The world is difficult everywhere today, if you think Canada is the only expensive country in the world you’re fooling yourself. Go live in some country with a far less appealing, political climate, or no natural resources and dictatorship governments if it’s cheap. Have fun.
