I wrote my citizenship test 20/20 today. While the questions in the actual test were not the same as this video, this video helped me to review and prepare with confidence. I read the discover Canada guide cover to cover thrice and went over this quiz twice. What really helped is that this quiz refers you to the exact line and the page of the handbook which helped a lot in preparation. Good luck everyone!

With the price of homes it was expected a long time ago that crime would explode. Even people with jobs are having a hard time to get a home. And the really good jobs like pilot, surgeon, long shoreman. Are really hard to get. Its no wonder crime is up. If the government doesnt address the price of homes or help make it easier to become a Surgeon so that we can be able to own a home. Crime will continue to tick upwards pretty sure. 70s home in Vancouver 4 bedroom is 1.9 million unrenovated old carpet old fixtures etc on a tight lot can easily see into neighbors house since its so close.

Please help me understand why mass migration is considered beneficial. I believe globalization has very significant drawbacks. My primary concern is for my fellow Canadians "ONLY." It seems that the increase in new residents is driven largely by political motives, as new migrants often support the Liberal Party due to the benefits they receive upon arrival. Both the Liberal government in Canada and the Democrats in the United States appear to be aware of this trend. Regardless of political affiliation—whether Liberal, Conservative, Green, or any other party—if my party were to adopt such a policy, I would oppose it. Canadians really need to wake up. We need responsible citizenship that upholds and strengthens our Canadian culture and values.

I went to college with a roommate from Delhi. I visited in his home country and family and actually really enjoyed it. Yes, there is less cleanliness culture. Yes, there is less personal space. He actually ended up moving to Toronto last year. However with all the negatives you see on YouTube, it's always good to note that Indians are always friendly and helpful people. I'd rather have them than most other immigrant cultures

Middle class tax cuts, does not really help with inflated prices

If these racist, useless Europeans go back to Europe than Indians, native Canadian, good Europeans & other immigrants can make Canada many times better and prosperous and no racism, no drug’s, no hatred, no violence, safe, secure and welcoming nation. So many Indians in Brampton because they have to live together for safety. They can avoid, racism, hatred, violence that way but still they can’t escape. Now it became favorite place for racist people, racist YouTubers etc. Indians are works in low wage jobs because they are not getting jobs according to their degrees, qualifications they have to do low wage jobs and even getting low wage jobs is very difficult. At least 12% Indians are jobless. Only some Indians help them and that’s why you find some place only indians. You can find many well educated even doctors, master degree engineers etc working in low wage jobs. You can just imagine lives of Those Indians who working with racist Canadians. Many people committed and committing suicide. This is state sponsored racism top to bottom so They are getting no help from anywhere. Canada making billions by international student and that way they getting low wage labourers still those young students getting racism, hatred like they are the problem of all problems of Canada. Racism, discrimination, hatred, violence against Indians is so normalise people don’t even hesitate. Really it’s horrible situation for Indians in Canada. Just look at the comments. Those racist, hateful people will going to get special place in hell. ( plz don’t delete comments.)

First of all, Tyler is a hardworking journalist and I respect that, however a lot of this video was wildly ignorant, from almost everyone involved, including from him. This is cheap views unfortunately. It paints a very bad perspective for all the genuinely hardworking citizens and residents of Indian origins, why not show that side of them too? There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. Your view of Punjab is just NOT the same as the one of the people in the video who view their motherland as a beautiful place. You can portray every place in the world in that light with the wrong perspective, be it New York, Paris, Barcelona, Cairo, Sydney, Rio, London, etc, but it must be nice to get a few more looks at the expense of demeaning others.

What invasion? We all came here legally with passports and valid visas. WE work jobs, help our community, isnt that canadian enough? The temples and gurudwaras of Brapmton literally offer free food and drinks to anyone and everyone, regardless of their race, sexuality, gender. We're not like the mexicans of the usa where we come here illegally.WE COME HERELEGALLY, do legal jobs, and live peacefully. Do we have our fair share of problems? Yeah, sure. Greatest country on earth huh? Where should i start: -13th most obese country (~43% of you cant even feed themselves without getting sick) -27th out of 37 for reading -27th out of 81 for mathematics -35th in life expectancy -52nd globally in gender equality health, education equity, or overall well-being... You are the "greatest" in nothing... Only positive things the world sees is americas beautiful nature, and you did nothing to achieve that except unaliving so so many indiginous people... Seriously, how can you be patriotic about this country. I really dont get it... Somebody enlighten me, help me understand, how you can call yourself "greatest country in the world"? When you are obviously not!

I'd honestly prefer Indians over Middle Easterners. Hindus and Sikhs aren't proselytizers and generally have a much more mellow religious vibe, unlike Muslims. Plus, Indian food is the shit, I dig curry and samosas. The thing you really have to be careful of, as is the situation with any instance of mass migration, is to be aware if newcomers are taking advantage of Western social assistance programs, like the Somalis have done with the welfare system. They need to understand that to be welcomed as new Americans, they have to work. Indians have proven to be industrious through hotels and convenience shops. I'd prefer them to Middle Easterners or certain cultures of Africans. That all being said, they should also come to understand that, having moved to a modern country, there's very little point in having massive families with ten kids. No need to endlessly spawn more people to help with chores like water fetching when you have indoor plumbing. It's an unfortunate trend a lot of migrants have trouble getting over, the endless breeding that makes locals anxious that they'll become a minority in their own country in just a few generations.

Thank you for the video. I just took my test Jan 19/2026 got 19/20 on my first attempt. I read 2 chapters of discover Canada, found it was hard to follow and watched this video 3 times instead. I took notes and read all the explanation with each questions. Wrote down the events according to timeline really helped. This video gave me a really solid foundation, but still had maybe 4-5 questions that wasn’t part of these questions.

15:58 Yeah should be happy its Indians honestly. And I cant fualt that community for not having homless, they probably take care of their own. But is at fualt for this, is the level in which the people coming sometimes do know the fruad going on through the government and seem to tihnk they are entitled. But not their fualt at the end of the day.. And the only thing I would be angry about is, one if I was already living there and there wasnt some vote to let it happen. And in that case, if there was, then its really on the community for not saying no. It’s really surprising that the Indians were talking about how everyone is allowed in temples or we help everyone no matter the skin colour, while the white people complained about how all Indians are bad. One thing to highlight with not seeing any homeless Indians in that first seen is not that Indians are causing others to be homeless - rather, they are willing to help family out to prevent homelessness! When we first came here (20+ years ago from Ethiopia), we couldn’t find work and faced homelessness. Our extended family came thru and let the 4 of us stay in a small 1 bedroom in the basement until we could get on our feet. By having a room to be safe in, we avoided a lot of the consequences of homelessness that would have made getting back on our feet exponentially difficult. What I have found shocking now to see as a Canadian of 20+ years is my non-immigrant Canadian friends who will watch quietly as their family members fall under the poverty line and towards homelessness, avoiding inviting them in to not “disrupt their peace” at home. I’ve had random family of friends stay with me in hard times to avoid them being on the street while my generally kind friends (at least to others!) did not take them in. This individualistic mindset of the West really means if you have a low point in life, you will plummet to rock bottom…. Ofc homelessness and poverty is multifaceted but a more collective approach to community would also reduce the burden!

I don’t really understand why these people are receiving hate if they seem like they help one another and others. Those food banks and kitchens that offer a free meal to anyone is a good thing. I understand that many Canadians want assimilation but you can’t seriously expect people who were raised in another country for decades to automatically become Hockey viewers and poutine fans overnight assimilation takes time. Instead of looking at them with skepticism y’all should talk with one another instead. That old dude towards the end really said it best that we should help one another as humans.

This is terrible and I don't understand why the government would only take Indian students about 90% of the international students were from India and uneducated and non-verified credentials. I don't understand was the government too much worried about the money they will be bringing I don't understand like this has the real Cause of the trouble for everyone why you only would take so much of the Indian students why not the rest of the world if you really want to help your new your universities to pay off their salaries and run and those new Indian breed that is coming they are really not ready to come to the Canada illiterate people.

The old Dutch guy in the interview was right. When my father applied to bring us to Canada, we went through many tests and procedures, police checks from back home, and even from the FBI to prove we had never been to North America and the process lasted almost a year and a half. No money was given to our family, my dad was working our step mother was working; but now all these immigrants get in quick and free. I have a friend that works for a bank and he tells me people who can't even speak English or French show up and deposit government cheques for 30 or 40 thousand dollars. What about Canadians born and raised here, some need help, they don't get big cheques. There has to be a stop to all this influx of people coming from other countries who have it really easy once they're here, thanks to the government. I'm not anti-immigration, as I'm an immigrant myself, but this BS has to stop.

What Canada 🇨🇦 should do is offer Work visa for 5 years and if after 5 years of working,,,,,then offer citizenship ❤working visas help identify which immigrants really want to work 😮😮😮😮

As a proud Canadian I am so very done with these immigrants literally bombarding and overwhelming our beautiful country. We, Canadians need to come together. Unite. Deny all immigrants. I’m tired of hearing about these people that are not Canadian, not born here, migrated here, and are doing so many sickening illegal things to OUR PEOPLE. Kidnappings. Abductions. Stalking single women. Stealing. Squatting in homes and properties. All that with no consequences. Zero. None. And yet they receive all the jobs. All the income. I was called a Nazi because I suggested the same thing: the more people you have the less resources you have for everyone to go around. I was called a Nazi for saying that. I wasn’t being a Nazi. I was being a mom. Any woman knows this. When you’re single, you can have a whole pie to yourself. You get married, you make a pie and you’ve got well maybe a couple of days worth of food. Add a child everybody eats comfortably but only for one night add a second child somebody’s gotta give up. You know what I mean like it’s just plain math Mathematics so I guess I’m too far left for the right and I’m too far right for the left, I guess. Although I’m not an immigrant, I am a person with disabilities and just recently when we lost the so-called Trudeau tax I wondered why I wasn’t getting it. Then on a Canadian conservative source I heard we weren’t getting it anymore and I was upset. Disgruntled person wrote in the comments section and I quote get over yourself. I think MAID could help you. That didn’t come from a left-wing source as many right wing folks will say that it’s the left who wants to euthanize disabled people. That came from someone from a right leaning source. So writer left nobody wants to pay for anyone to have a free ride, even if the ride isn’t really free. I live on $800 a month and I am much too disabled to work and I don’t have family. In addition, I’ve been told I’m not eligible for rent gear to income, but it’s not like I’m going to get well. Anyway, it seems people don’t like to put out for others and I get it because the folks at the top are always happy to see the little guys tear each other apart. None of our politicians have ever voluntarily Given up a pay cut to support those who can’t work any longer or who never could. That would be the pro life thing to do. They’re always voting themselves big raises.

I have only one question.. why is the government allowing them into the country ? What is the reason and who is it benefiting??? As I commented before , my parents came to Canada in 1966 I was just a baby , Canada had endless jobs in manufacturing, and especially in the construction sector , I will say that immigrants back then , Italians , and Portuguese really built this country , the men and women worked sometimes two jobs , no hand out from the government , no sick days , Canada was beautiful growing up , .. that’s how I remember it , other immigrants followed , from Poland , and then the Indians started to come in by the 80”s .. fast forward to now , I’m embarrassed of our country , it’s disgraceful and disgusting, the transition from back then to now , I feel like I’m living in India , dirty , scammers , gangs , thief’s , murders , ignorant , entitlement; disrespectful etc .. facts , one thing that I can’t wrap my head around is the language barrier , why are these people working in customer service ? Why are they dealing with the public ??? Why are they in the health care industry, nurses , doctors etc , when they can’t speak the language???? Why are they accepted in these highly skilled positions? Just because you have the skill ? Isn’t knowing the language and being able to communicate a requirement regardless what job you have ? Why is the government allowing them in this country and then paying for them to have all these resources available to them ? Why ?? We need to start helping the people that have contributed to this country , that paid taxes and their dues FIRST … we do not have enough affordable housing , jobs , hospitals ,etc .Canada has falling , they are a financial strain on this country , it needs to STOP.. this isn’t the 60”s anymore Canada is to the max , no opportunity here anymore , send them back !

I'm a immigrant, came here without any English, but learned the language. I was born in Brazil and I watch more Hockey then soccer. I always do the best I can to be integrated within society, helping and doing the best I can so anywhere I go and tell them where I live to represent the county and show them how respectful we are!I feel sad watching people trying to change the culture instead of adapting to Canada's Culture. The only reason you can use the term Immigrant is because the govt issued visas. But that being said the govt fast tracked the usual immigrant process which takes months to years. So in actuality this is not legitimate immigrants. It's unlawful what the govt has done and therefore these people are immigrants under cover of law. Or color of law. It's defacto. I call them illegal migrants. Most are not doctors or engineers or trades people even. Most are young men from 19 to their 30's. According to Investigative Journalist Joshua Philipp of the Epoch Times, Through visiting Darian gap, he found UN tents helping illegal migrants to get to the US. But they had to pass through cartel territory. They had to pay the cartels a fee or die or be raped or both. Yes it's brutal some things but apparently before Obama left office he signed an international agreement to import people globally from mostly Islamic countries and create open borders. We see Chinese, and many people from different parts of South America and even Africa crossing to the US. A lot of whom end up in Canada. So before they cross into the US they toss their IDs Especially if they are from countries that are flagged by the US as questionable or terrorist possibilities. So this leads to a lot coming to Canada. I'm sure you heard of Roxham Rd crossing? It's officially closed but people still cross into Canada from the US going through there. There's also piles of IDs at that border crossing also. Anyways these open border policies has cut out in depth screening so we really don't know who is in Canada as true asylum seekers or immigrants. To add to this complexity, over 300,000 Canadian travel documents have been stolen from CBSA Canadian Border Services Agency. 280,000 of those were blank Canadian passports. SO we really don't know who's walking on Canadian soil. This was confirmed by Luc Sabourin a former CBSA agent. Just completed mine — got 19 correct! A few tips: this video helps a lot, but I recommend going through the study guide at least once before watching this video. Also, an app called Citizenship was really useful as well. Good luck to everyone. It's easy don't be over stress.

Most of the people don’t realize that Trudeau has helped people and businesses during COVID and avoided millions of deaths unlike US. He did really well curbing the inflation by increasing the interest rates and decreasing it back in time, has been polite to all the haters at the same time and brought enough workers into Canada to prosper the country and businesses on the right path. 2/3rd of the Canadian population disagrees, and that’s sad. Not a very good speech. Over 90% of drug traffic reduction in 1 month, which really proves what Trump said. US official knows that significant reduction, yet, they still impose the tariff. Why will you still spend so much money to help America if they do not appreciate? Grow a pair!!!
