It's also ironic, because this government lobbied for more and more immigrants and opened up scam colleges to bring immigrants in and exploit them for low wages. I have loved your channel for a while now, but i really do not like how you allowed the racist man in the safety vest to be in this video. I recognize Canada has huge problems with excess immigration and we can't meet the demands we are insinuating we can meet to potential immigrants. I also recognize that there is a a huge problem with Indian students being lured here under false pretences and this issue needs to be exposed. However, I don't think you should have given an openly racist person a platform to share their views and you laughed when they said obviously racist things. He said "I'm as racist as the next person" and you laughed. Sorry but what?! He is normalizing his racism and you are playing along. Just pick a different person to interview. He said "better indians than muslims, africans, etc....." Canada hasn't been around that long relative to other places. This guy came from immigrants like 1-2 generations ago. I feel this video does cover what's happening but don't answer the question why its happening. Here's what i think- To start with - A major population of indian immigrants in Canada come from two provinces/states - Punjab and Gujarat. From Punjab - Most of the population who migrates to Canada are villagers. They are notoriously famous in Punjab cities as well for creating trouble. They have no civic sense, always getting involved in illegal stuff, some use drugs, no etiquettes, poor hygiene and very arrogant sometimes. Another thing, Canadian government over the years stopped taking in-person interviews and got lenient with rules for gaining a visa especially for students which doesn't make sense and one should be catious so of what kind of people they are letting in their country. This leads to letting in a bunch of wrong people who are already a troublemaker in Punjab and then represents a bad of side of Indians. A side note - Every Indian province is very very different and not all people are same in India. It's definitely a shit situation which shows Canadian government definitely needed a better way to handle immigration. A lot of international students has been exploited by the system as well if you get to know from there point of view as well. Seeing the thumbnail and title of this video shows what kind of a person Tyler is. Without a proper research and understanding, he just made a video to appease people who hates on Indians. Title says Invasion, is he for real? I see way more Chinese immigrants here in Canada than any other nationality. Punjabi Indians are to be blamed as for creating a bad picture for themselves but hating on whole country without knowing them feels prejudiced. I was going through college in southern Ontario about half a decade ago. The faculty was alright but the one that always stuck with me was an elderly Indian man who had a PHd (what he was doing teaching at a community college, I'm not sure). He immigrated from India sometime in the 70's, I think, and sometimes told us stories about how he'd never seen electricity until he was well into adulthood. This was at the early stages of Indian mass immigration to the province, but the international students were already becoming a known problem in the school. They never spoke to anyone else, hung out in big groups together on campus, I swear most of them couldn't even speak English. They constantly cheated on everything and shared answers, I heard like 7 of them got failed for submitting identical lab reports one time. Most people knew they were a problem, but no one was comfortable saying anything. Except the Indian professor. He would publicly call them out for shit in class, berate them, shit talk them openly to other students. I've literally never seen anyone more angry about those Indian students than that Indian professor. It's not hard to see why, he busted his ass to immigrate to Canada, get work and get into a good university. He completed a doctorate, for Christ's sake. He didn't see a street light until he was 25, and worked his way to the bleeding edge of digital science. Now there's a bunch of lazy assholes invited in by the government brazenly trying to cheat their way to a degree in his goddamn class. I'd crash out too.

This almost feels like the borat social experiment. I love Punjabi people, they are high class and they surprise me when they tell me they were farmers before coming to canada because I don't get that rugged vibe from them. That guy at 2:50 was purhaps the most honest 'white' guy you will meet. The fact is Indians didn't take over, the upper class just decided to move north to Bolton or more west to the Halton area. Over time enough Indians replaced them to basically take over important roles like police officers and political positions. Eventually just like East Asians have Markham and parts of Scarborough, the south Asians had a high enough population for Brampton to be considered their home turf. Eventually though it was the student visas that drove Canadians crazy. Millions of students in record time and I believe there was an additional 4 million who came on temporary work visas during covid, eventually Canadians got annoyed. Personally I don't see any problem with it as long as we keep building apartments and homes for the new immigrants to rent and live it doesn't bother me. I would like to see three times more immigration especially from Europe as this country is super underpopulated and we need people to open factories and build companies that will strengthen Canada as a whole and employ our own not just send money back to their countries. So its not an invasion we just need come to a place of understanding and learn to work together. I will finish with the one negative; there truly is a massive lack of assimilation and this may prove to be more of a problem than we realize but I won't go into it. It would be really nice to see them round up in Surrey BC and Brampton Ontario these communities that are infested with drug dealing and extortion of their middle class families back home. As an Indian living in India, I’d say it was your country’s government’s problem and mistake, similar to what the UK is doing now. Aside from government or policies, Indians immigrating to Canada is something that dates back to the British era, when Britain sent a group of Indians, specifically Sikhs, for security or labor work in Canada. This started the trend of Sikhs (turban-wearing ones) moving there. In modern times, the West was richer in terms of education and infra compared to Asia, which attracted many normal students and families immigrants also. Canada and America were built by immigrants, but now things are saturated, which I understand, and that’s where the resentment comes from. The majority Sikh state ( punjab) in India is still behind in development and job wise cooperation, and the historical pattern from the British era of moving to Canada for a better life has become a norm for many young people there. The close, collaborative nature of Sikhs—like a cousin in Canada inviting another cousin from India to come over, open a shop, work together, or share housing—is another reason many don’t hesitate to immigrate. These are some of the reasons behind mass immigration from India. Now, with saturation, the resentment toward immigration has grown. India itself faces issues with immigrants who live off our taxes, take rights meant for native children, and abuse policies, laws, or the environment. At least Canada has better-off immigrants—educated and contributing to the economy. While some may depend on taxes, most are hardworking and self-sufficient; otherwise, Canada’s economy would have collapsed by now. In end i can understand the hatred but you guys should stop this yourselves - not hunting them but prevent more.

Problem in Canada is open borders and socialist spending

There is a clear lie in that video. Nobody is in Limbo. Mind you there is normal Federal Express entry program still happening. Meaning, that if you get selected through that program, you can immigrate to any province of your choice - including Quebec. You can also still get bonus points for Canadian education (Quebec education does count) and Canadian work experience (if it qualifies). So the only thing that happened was, that one provincial nomination program was ended, that is all that happened. The practical problem is, that provincial nomination does give so many points, that it is a guarantee of normal express entry pull as long as you just meet criteria to enter Express entry. So provincial nominations are suitable for people that might be otherwise struggling with points (older age, less language perfection, les bonus points from education or work experience). For a disclaimer, provincial programs are based on a specific province needs and just because one was opened when you planned to go and study or work in Canada, it does not mean it will be like that forever. If an agent made you such promise, then he was misleading you. Again for those people demonstrating, nothing has changed for them other than one future option was gone. They still have their student or work permit until it expires. They also can apply into Express entry program as normal. On a side note for Canadian trying to cheer about this, be aware, such change can also mean that economy projection for next few years is not the best. so take it a warning sign. Or if we are lucky, it was found that this program was not bringing intended type of skilled worker or was heavily abused.

You, Canadians, should've thought of all this when you opened your doors to every Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and so on! It's not too late to stop this wave, though. The problem is unlike what you think Canada is not democracy! Democracy, Human Rights, Inclusion, Multi-Culturalism, etc., are all the terms and phrases that Governments have created and defined them they way them wanted them and for their own benefits to generate more revenue and care less about their own people!

The real problem is not just people, it’s the Canadian immigration system and the loopholes IRCC has left wide open. In Punjab and other parts of India, wealthy families are arranging marriages where a girl with IELTS comes to Canada, then calls her husband here. Many of these are nothing more than contract marriages, where once the boy arrives, they go their separate ways. This is blatant abuse of the system and has created a wave of people entering Canada without even basic English skills. IRCC needs to wake up and fix this. Students on study or work visas must not be allowed to bring their spouses. If someone wants to come, let them take an English test themselves and prove they’re qualified. Study permits should only be issued for genuine university students, not random private colleges being used as back doors into the country. On top of that, no work permits should be given while on a study visa. Employers who hire students illegally on cash as cheap labour should face strict penalties, heavy fines, and blacklisting. Until these loopholes are closed, Canada’s immigration system will continue to be exploited and lose credibility. IRCC, this is not immigration — this is fraud facilitated by weak laws.

I don't see this as a social problem, Canadians are from everywhere, we are not inherently racist because we are voicing the mess Canada is turning into. It's a Political problem. The last governments have quietly opened up immigration without providing infrastructure to support them. Taxpayers dollars have been dolled out for new immigrant's housing and living. This is akin to welfare in that there is no incentive to begin to work and make your own life when the federal government is supporting them with our tax dollars...and first generation Canadians are afraid to speak up for fear of sounding racist. Ridiculous. This has to stop and change. I'm planning on leaving. It's headed for disaster. I see the light.

I have lived over 15 years in Canada. I am an immigrant, and also don't like much when people bring their narrow understanding of their world, regardless of the culture. But, that doesn't equal to automatically blame the immigrants for new generations not having a job, or slavery wages. These are problems created by the government and corporations, selling us a very expensive existence. Yes, integration is essentiall. But also be open to learn something from those others cultures. I'm a Canadian, I was born here, who knows what generation Canadian I am - my ancestors were here long before Canada was a country, later they fought for the British (one naughty son fought for the "rebels" americans and was in jail for 5 years), the monarchy granted them 100 acres in the Niagara region which was farmed by a line of my family until the 1980s when the last of that direct line sold which is tragic. blah blah - Canadian. ANYWAY - I love other people, other cultures, every immigrant that spoke in this video I welcome with open arms, would befriend, share a meal with etc. I grew up working with many people from Pakistan and India who were escaping really scary situations, worked their butts off to be part of this country, learn the language, save for a home - live a safe and happy life. Whether you're a first or 50th generation Canadian - you come here and you adapt to our wonderful way - you're a freaking Canadian. That's not happening right now. Like the video said, it's a math problem. One of my largest concerns is that now all these wonderful Canadians who have been here for a long ass time, worked their butts off to be part of the family will now be subject to violence, harassment and racist comments because this population bomb has misrepresented their intentions entirely.

I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Doug Ford or Trudeau’s reciprocal actions against the U.S. are secondary to me as a Canadian. For days, they’ve been misleading the public with talk of imposing tariffs on U.S. goods or cutting power supply, but that’s not the real issue. \n \nWhat truly matters is how our government is actively mitigating the economic impact. Are they securing new markets? Have they repaired strained relations with China, which were damaged in 2021 over the arrest of Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou to appease the U.S.? Are we expanding oil exports to Japan, India, or China? Have we dispatched trade delegations worldwide to open new opportunities? \n \nWrong move. Canada doesn't have a functioning government. There is no mandate. The Prime Minister has resigned. Parliament is not in session. There is no reason to escalate. The focus should be on finding a solution the root cause of why the tariff was put in place over the border and fentanyl. \n \nIf not, then all these moves by Ford or Trudeau are meaningless—just political maneuvering to distract Canadians from the real problem.

The US has just had 4 years of wide open borders encouraged by the Biden administration. Now you want to blame all your immigration problems on Canada and Mexico and you demand these countries to fix your immigration problem immediately or be penalized. Immigrants fly to Montreal posing as tourists. The airport border patrol officer welcomes them with a smile, wishes them a nice vacation and stamps their passport. These students can't complain about the student fee, Housing , food and living cost .\n\nU can blame trudue for lowering the standards for student visa. \n\nTo my knowledge from friends i know as students durring high-school vs students coming to study at college. \n\nPrior to this issue these a few mandatory requirements \n\n- parents most make over 200 k usd , and assets .\n\n- you must have xxx amount in usd dollars equivalent in your bank account and open a HSBC bank account with xxx amount \n\n - u must show you can afford for your child to stay at a mandatory homestay , all the associated cost staying and studying in canada for min 3 years \n\nJust passing the first 3 requirements, most ppl get rejected. \n\n- most leave the home stay due to culture differences and end up renting a 1 bed room condo. \nThat alone back in harper days was 20 k a year.\n\nMind you these students i met are from Vietnam, a 3rd world country where a university graduate with 2 degree will make only $500 usd which is consider a very good job . Its equivalent to5 k / month . \n\nSo thier dollar isn't worth much , for their parents to have that much money to send a 15 year old to study hs in a foreign country is a luxury only a selected few can dream of\n\nAlso none of them worked and work permit wasn't allowed. Just within the past two weeks FEMA spent over $500 million to provide luxury hotels for illegal immigrants yet a few weeks ago they were still claiming that they didn’t have enough money to help American citizens who suffered catastrophic loss during recent hurricanes and wildfires. The simple fact that Democrats got more upset that Elon Musk bought Twitter than they are, that their own political party in government for the past four years, has literally been holding them at gunpoint and forcing them to pay taxes so that they could steal it or launder it into their own campaigns and pockets is literally disturbing! WTF!!!! If any of those other federal agencies are ran or funded the way U.S. AID were, with the massive corruption, misappropriation, fraud and theft of taxpayer funds, then I hope DODGE goes through an completely audits, every single federal agency in the United States. No wonder the Democrats are freaking out the way they are, if the Republicans got caught this bad with their hand in the taxpayer cookie jar, then you know the Democrats would be screaming a different tune. When so many immigrants enter a country that its infrastructure can not handle the increased population, people start to be anti-immigration. People who are not the majority race and culture, are easy targets for people who are frightened by the rise of homelessness and crime, and loss of employment. In Canada, even in small rural towns, long established residents see that their children can not find work, or housing, while obvious immigrants are everywhere as waitresses, cashiers, and other unskilled jobs which their children used to do when starting out. On top of that, many Canadians can not find a family doctor, and our healthcare system is strained to the breaking point. People are frightened, and want the government to tighten immigration policies. I think that our government did not consider all the factors when it opened the door so wide for immigration. Now it has to take a step back, and ensure that the infrastructure is in place before immigrants arrive in Canada, not be forever trying to fix the problems after they have caused havoc!

We Canadians are being invaded by millions of Muslims under the leadership of our dictator Justin Trudeau. Canada is no longer the country I grew up in. Our identity is fading fast, we are a country that harbours terrorists and their supporters, it’s only a matter of time before we have a terrorist attack much larger than we can even imagine. Not only are these new Canadians disrespectful to females but to our land as well, Wasaga beach and elsewhere in Canada it is not uncommon for them to openly defecate. Our Tim Hortons coffee shops used to be a great place, not anymore. Justin Trudeau and the Liberal party did this to us and it may be too late to fix. The Americans have enough problems at their southern border and they should be very careful who they allow in from the northern border. A lot of them hate America, hate the western way of life and hate each other.

The problem is simple. If its an issue of cost of living, while its true that it is very high, its very high across the industrialized world. That is because the causes influencing cost of living are not related to inside Canada but are being influenced by foreign actors which Canada has no control over. The Ukraine-Russia War for example is causing increases to food costs which are not easily overcome. The situation in the Middle East between Hamas and Israel threatens to spiral into a regional war and that threatens the oil supply and the present price for oil and gas. The Houthi have been making it hard to traverse the Red Sea which is forcing shipping to travel around Africa rather than directly through the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean Sea meaning those additional fuel costs get transferred over to the consumer. As for housing, while efforts to cool housing markets have been made, Canada's housing market is still relatively hot meaning the prices remain high in big cities. Its like a perfect storm. Increased costs on mortgages are an attempt to push down inflation but in the short term you are going to feel that as well. Also we are living in a transition period as the world sinks back to the older model of trade before before Bretton Woods in 1947 which is leading to a decoupling of product lines that at one time coming from Asia were cheap but are not more expensive because they are being made back in the home countries. Transitions do come with a price. Finally, add taxes which help to deal with health care, social programs and government services like embassies, foreign missions and the army well yeah its a perfect storm.\n\nI hope you have luck where you end up but do not for a minute assume that the grass is greener on the other side. Even Japan which attempts to keep certain costs low, has been forced to increase its national consumption taxes to offset overall costs. It isn't going to get cheaper but more expensive as we move back to the old trade model. However, as the world weans itself off of the World Trade Organization and the IMF, the world also re-opens the potential to a Great Depression because that was the reason Bretton Woods appeared in the first place. The world isn't going to get better but far worse.

I'm 52 years old and a Canadian citizen my whole life. Canada has always been a welcoming country. I have friends from every part of the world here in Canada. But in the couple years there has been a brutal influx of Indians in Canada. My build alone had maybe 3 Indian households. Now more than 60% of the building is indians. And the problem is 6 to 8 people living in a 2 bedroom apartment. We use to have 1 garbage bin in the basement. Now we have 3 and they are over flowing and they leave garbage everywhere( I've watched them do it). Not everyone has house keys so they leave the security door open all hours of the day allowing criminals to get into the building. They have shit in the laundry room and the garage(I have seen this happen). They smoke in the building halls and lobby. They Dont use laundry detergent when washing their clothes so the laundry machines stink really bad. I have to was the laundry machine before even putting my clothes in.Also they have taken every job in the business in my neighborhood. They aren't very friendly. They come into my restaurant and act like entitled brats and hang out for 6 to 7 hours in groups of 20 and don't tip. They're loud and demanding. Now our regular client's have stopped coming. Since these new Indians have come here they have tainted everything. I have never been a racist individual in my whole life. My family is very diverse. We are white, black, packistan, and Asian. In the last 3 years I am so disgusted in the quality of people that have been coming to this country. The biggest group is Indians. I'm sorry but be don't need any more of these assholes. I wished to move to Canada 12 years ago. I am American. I was told that I needed a job and that job NEEDED to be filled. This would allow me to move there. I didn't move. Now with the migration crisis, too many immigrants at one time will overload the system and overpopulate a country. I fear with the climate crisis constantly reshaping our futures, that immigration will be an ongoing problem for the entire world. I believe countries must plan for even more immigration waves due to climate change. The Earth is changing...people will be moving to save their lives, to have a future. As human beings we must adapt to these pressures and changes in our planet. Make it livable, or else face the consequences of seeing millions of people die because you were unwilling to open your borders. There is room, just get rid of the greed. This planet , its peoples,must find ways to live together. In my experience, there has always been a feeling in Canada against immigrants. This is generally among the working class. \n\nIn the early 1990s I was doing a lot of work in Canada for a US tech company. I am an American, by the way. One time I was working with a Chinese Canadian engineer, who worked for the client company. We went to the loading dock to check on the equipment from my company, which had just arrived. The native Canadian loading dock workers were openly making racist slurs about the Chinese engineer, right in front of him. He was very careful not to respond. I asked him about it later, and he just waved it off. This was in the Toronto area. I was also warned about Chinese who were involved in organized crime in the city. Then, a few days later I saw it in downtown Toronto. Two Chinese men in a Mercedes had stopped on the road and pulled a woman out of the car and started threatening her. It was a tense situation. \n\nOften it is the government types that welcome the immigrants, for various reasons. Canada does indeed have a demographic problem. \n\nThis is not the 19th and early 20th century in Canada or the US or Europe. Today we have extensive social safety nets. This means taxpayer dollars. In the earlier times the immigrants had to fend for themselves. Even then, there would be feelings against the immigrants. At least in the US it was a time of rapid economic and geographic expansion. Not so anymore.

A big part of the problem in Ontario at least are the huge numbers of foreign students.The government of Ontario allowed a large number of fly by night schools to open up to attract foreign students with the promise of a high quality Canada education. The schools charge the foreign students very high tuition, but give very poor service. They have no student housing, no proper campus and often don't even have classrooms or lecture halls that can handle the number of students they have enrolled. The students end up paying a fortune for a second class education, it is little more than a scam.
