No offence to the amazing Indian people, as a Canadian I find the majority very helpful and good for our country. However, things changed 2015- onwards- there are large scam companies now that bring unqualified people by taking money from them and creating fake student permits for them. The issue with that is that these people are OK with subpar living standards and offer their services for less than minimum wage and this creates a shadow/ cash-based economy where taxes go unreported and quality of life does not improve. This is not good for anyone- not the Canadians and older immigrants who lose jobs to these people and must pay higher taxes to maintain the infrastructure needed for a larger population. Not to mention how these new immigrants are a bit uncultured and almost like the "red-necks" of India- they throw garbage around, do not learn English, never make friendships with other races/ethnicities.

This may be a blessing in disguise to India . I say this not to bring any offence as visa denials are highly prevalent, not only in Canada but in other countries as well. Apart from the huge deportation project being inhumane and fascist, why is nobody even mentioning the political prerequisite of readmission agreements? You cannot just dump thousands of migrants back on the countries they came from, especially if these are countries that are classed as dangerous and unlivable. Generally they do NOT take them back and even if there is a readmission agreement they will invoke other reasons not to admit them. Immigrants or refugees can also lawyer up and show that they will face prison, torture , persecution, war or starvation in their country of origin which makes it a human rights offence to deport them. I know this because I often interpret EU meetings on migration and asylum. Most immigrants can never be returned and would rather die or abscond than to return as a failed emigrant or be imprisoned, tortured, persecuted, die fighting or of starvation.

No Offence to anyone but when you applied to come here as a student or tfw you had to prove and swear that you will go back home once your studies or work permit is done , its a part of the cbsa and irrc questioning if your protesting you are breaking the rules and laws of your visa and you are subject to deportation because you lied to immigration and the cbsa , i lived in another country for 3 years during covid i could stay up to 3 years with my visa , my last renewal the officer told me sir this is the last renewal you will have to leave so that is what i did i respected the laws of the host country and went home , i feel sorry the students were lied to by the schools the government and THEIR own People telling them they will get pr give us 20k-30k cdn $ but thats not our problem .... vet the agencies yourself before applying , come here legally and there is no issue , but don't think our country has to give you pr or CITIZONSHIP just because you spent allot of money or worked here pr and CITIZONSHIP is a privilege NOT A RIGHT , when you had the interview with immigration and the cbsa what did you Promise i will leave didn't you ? time to start packing like i did go home and better your country with the knowledge you go from here if you dont break the rules you can always come back Legally god bless and good luck
