Nobody moves to another country for fun, they migrate for better lifestyle, healthcare, benefits, income etc. Stop demonizing these people just because they're in Canada and not being white. Perhaps, ask yourself what your ancestors as whites did in the past to Indians, sidelined with Britishers & looted our wealth for 200 years and made us a 3rd world country.

Wow, What a 'hot take'. 🙄There are assholes everywhere - So when the country increases immigration massively, Canada will see an influx of both amazing people AND assholes. Reducing it to a race issue is so reductive and incredibly ignorant. This is a complex issue - most communities are suffering from a lack of infrastructure and planning with the sudden mass immigration that's happened. Let me also remind you - Canada is a MULTICULTURAL country, with most of it being TREATY LAND. I have indo-guyanese parents aka my ancestors were brought to Guyana by the English to work the cane feilds basically to replace the slaves anyways my parents moved from Guyana to the usa. What happened to the native /indigenous people of Canada.? The European cacadians whose ancestors occupied that land and murdered the natives should find from which european country their ancestors came and move back to europe if they can not tolerate the new brown non European immigrants.

Really there’s no difference between the people. The people are all the same whether you’re from Canada or the United States. All of your ancestors came from Europe. My wife moved here 25 years ago luckily she is a European trained musician, all her credentials were recognized and she is still teaching music here in Alberta. \nAt first she was very homesick understandably but.luckily we were able to move her aging parents here 16 years ago. They got treated like royalty by the Canadian Government compared to my Canadian born parents showered with benefits even though they never worked in Canada one day. I know this is no.longer the case for new.immigrants but on the whole Canada has one of the most generous immigration policies on the planet.\nI feel for new.immigrants it's a very rough transition to make but after 200 plus years in Canada I thank my ancestors for taking a huge risk in coming here every day.
