As a Brampton resident, the newer Indians, are giving the good ones a bad reputation. It used to be more multicultural city and immigrants actually assimilated with the customs of, Canada. It’s pretty much 90% Indian now and about half of those don’t show signs of assimilating. Drivers here are so bad man! I’m convinced that a lot of them just pay for it. 😭 Their cuisine is good though, so, I’m grateful for that. 😅

I also did a very deep dive into the voters in Canada. At least 4.5 million out of the 8.5 million voted the Carney liberals got in April 2025 were immigrant votes. That’s why Carney and liberals pander to the gigantic Muslim population in Canada. Muslims, Chinese, Indians from India, Ukrainians, Filipinos they all pretty much vote liberal. There weee over 100 Muslim groups that told their Muslim community to only vote for candidates that support Gaza Muslims and Palestinians. How is that not election interference. We know the Chinese directly interfere in our elections by threatening Chinese Canadians to vote liberal or their families in China will be harmed or they will be harmed inside Canada. In June Carney said Muslim values are Canadian values. Either this clown has no idea how radical Islam is or he knows and just panders for votes. Over half of the liberal voter base is foreign now. I started in 2019 telling the federal conservatives look the liberals are importing new liberal voters. The party needs a strategy to win over the immigrant vote. I proposed hiring a team of individuals from the Muslim community, Chinese community etc to brainstorm on how to get their message across that if your an immigrant your best to vote conservative because the liberals don’t care about them they just want their vote. Show them how they may never own a home, how their kids will be worse off than them. That buy bringing in about 2 million more immigrants a year it is causing inflation and the affordability crisis. I believe if you can show these immigrant communities the truth they may consider voting conservative. As a Canadian, I am so sick and tired of being told that i have this bullshit nonsense, non-existent " white privilege," which is a load of shit. I am terrified for my little girl when it is time for her to get a job because my little girl and I are white, so we are put at the bottom of the list for being employed. And on top of that i am expected to bow down and not have a voice or an opinion about anything when it comes to immigrants and that because my daughter and i are white so we are automatically considered to be racists colonizers and forced to pay the price of something that happened long before i was even born and had nothing to do with just because the color of my skin . God gave us all our skin color and made us all . I had no say with being born with the color of my skin. I'm pretty much exactly where that lady in the car is at. Enough to make rent, pay my monthly cell phone bill, and internet, but the rest? Not enough for food, no emergency funds if something breaks or needs replacing, etc. Can't even save and put money away. I sat down and balanced my budget, looking at what I could keep or toss. Figured out what to do for cheapening food costs as much as I could (without doing food bank), and the most I can afford for rent is $700 a month. That's basically a room in someone's house. That's it. As an Adult, I'm disgusted it's come to this. But what angers me MOST of all, is the Landlord's I gotta argue with. Surrey, BC used to be the cheap end of Vancouver. The welfare type housing, and low-income area. Then we had this huge book of Middle Eastern people come flying in at top speed, steam roll the community and make it theirs. They bought up all the cheap housing, ripped it down even though it was not that bad of a house, then built these custom 5-6 room mini mansions. The standards for the area skyrocketed, and the cost of their mortgage is likely also sky high because of what they built... So what do they do? Rent the rooms, force people 2 to a room with no privacy, and if you WANT a private room? Nearly $1000. Oh... And let's not forget the discrimination issues. If you're not going to temple or Gudwara, forget it. If you aren't pure vegetarian, forget it. And because all the other renters are "brown" and under 30yrs old, Adults are considered unwelcome. If you have a disability and don't work, you're automatically labelled a drug user (which isn't always truth). Even if you offer proof of income, and resources or phone numbers to call, they won't bother. Too much work. This sh*t needs to stop. I look in other cities near by, and it's happening in ALL OF THEM. I cant even relocate to get away from this crap. I'm done. I have no car to live out of, so that's not an option. I'm not a drug user, never will be but and all the shelters are now "low barrier". Screw that. So now what? Go back to work with a broken lower back?? Desk job search when I should be recovering and resting? Like, the suggestions are welcome, but be realistic. I'm in constant pain on heavy duty drugs to get by right now. No spouce. No parents or friends to leech off of. I feel utterly abandoned by our government.

Trump is obviously transferring most of US assets in East and Southeast Asia. While we are seeing bad trade news after another, this is only focused mainly on Western countries.\n\nJapan and Taiwan recently pledging billions of USD as investments are one of the indications that Trump is relocating its financial and possibly military support to Asia. Philippines will also be conducting a meeting with him and I think he would have defense and economic deals with our country as well.\n\nCanadian and Mexican economies would indeed suffer while European security would be in danger with the US pulling out of NATO soon. But we are seeing an indication that the trade and defense assistance is being transferred to Pacific Asia for some reason. This would mean the economic repercussions would not bring down the US to its knees, but it would still be pretty significant early on since Asian markets would take a while to develop.

Well, I feel like there's a pretty good chance mine and thousands of other jobs will hit Ontario hard when they move south of the border. Ontario is about to be hurting really, really bad as Trump comes for all our auto manufacturing jobs.

Oh, the solution is pretty simple, as is the reverse of tariffs. Most of Canadians savings are poured directly or through investment funds into Wall Street to increase US investment. The main export of US is bonds and stocks. Let the Canadian government introduce a tax on any investment on its residents on any asset in US currency or us denominated. Immediately billions and billions of dollars ( CAD ) would return into the country. Too bad for US treasury bonds and stocks.

tyler i don't think u realize how bad the usa education system really is. i'm canadian but have lost count of the number of usa teachers who have complained about how bad they are held back from teaching kids properly, how kids can't be failed or held back, how kids graduating gr 12 can't read or write past gr 6 level. in fact recently there was a statistic put out that something like 60% of ALL americans cant read or write past gr 6. considering all your universities that is terrifying. not to mention with gun violence, straight up violence among kids and at teachers, the disrespect and the severe lack of good parenting, kids are not being educated at all. u yourself have done videos on where someone interviews americans and asked them questions about canada and they haven't got a clue. not one clue. yet canadian kids are regularly taught all about their american neighbours. are kids know more about america then american kids do and thats shameful. u need to do some research on this because unless u live in a rich gated elite community and go to private school the public education system in the usa is very dismal and woefully inadequate. \nalso he's right about politics. here we can discuss it rationally and then move on to other topics. in the states ppl are shooting ppl over differences in politics. beating ppl up trashing their cars and property etc. and many police are definitely not presenting themselves with professionalism tons of racism going on. and so many police because everyone is armed. here in canada we are not allowed handguns and pretty much ppl only have hunting rifles. it takes a lot of work and clearance not to mention time and money to take the necessary classes and get the necessary permits to even own a hunting rifle. in the usa show a drivers license and wait 10 days u have a handgun no matter how mental u are. therefore u need way more police than here in canada. i think u have a well to do upbringing so u have not and do not see the true picture of the america u live in. \nalso i have talked to many american friends who had insurance and still cost them about $5000 per birth of a child. with good insurance and working full time. so thats about average. here in canada u pay nothing except maybe parking for hubby while he visits.

All countries have a right to determine who they allow into their country with lower restrictions. And they are under no obligation to open the gates to anyone. I could have had him cuffed and removed put in jail for manyu thigns but I didnt . many people screeam racism and like I said it isnt that common accept people calling me a rqcist for just doing my job and they dont like it when told they need to leave or cannot do something on prvate property ith out permission. \n that hiring part think is totally wrong all my life I have had issues being hired as a Canadian born here but other people from other countries are brought in trained and schooled her and are hired before I am .\nalso yes housing is crazy xpensive this falls on the goevernment letting people from other countrys buy up all the lands then build a few homes then hold on to them makign the market prices climb and now with all the crazy imagration and many of those imagreants pretty much going to colledge and university for dirt cheap or free and also given home also droive up the prices.\nour healt hsystem is probably one of the best in the world the reason why our txes are so high is becasue of the health system and the reason why we seem to be short on doctors is becasue imagrants and other people running to the emergency for runny noses and also bring in there whole famil;y of brothers sisters cousins doesnt help backing up the system but als othe ageing poulations that needs to be in hospitals.

The Landlord and Tenant Act is long overdue for revision . A tenants credit rating must be tied to their decision to not pay rent. Go Doug Ford!!! People work hard their whole lives to purchase a home only to have a bad tenant destroy everything they have worked for. There are some pretty smug tenants in your story.
