I was born and raised in Canada and last august I left to move to the Czech Republic. If you’ve ever been there you’ll know it’s not the cheapest country and I live in the most expensive city. I still am able to afford to live off my not so high salary of an English teacher. I wouldn’t be able to afford living away from my parents in Canada, I’m not saying it’s been easy or cheap, I have 6 roommates and my rent is over 50% of my monthly salary. I had to take out a loan from my parents to afford all the visa fees and hidden costs of moving to another country. However if I had stayed in Canada I would have been earning less because I couldn’t find a job in my field. I am filled with rage about the governments decisions to mess up the country like they have. And yes we have an immigration problem but they are not the problem, it’s the government. My mother was an immigrant to Canada, and yes she’s doing okay right now but things have changed a lot since she immigrated and how Canada is now.

I’m an American citizen who was born in the United States (Hawaii). Everyone has the right to support or not support President Trump’s plans for mass deportation. The interviewer asked this Mexican American woman her opinion and she’s entitled to her opinion. There are a lot of Hispanic people who agree with Trump. I don’t think she’s turning her back on her family by saying “it’s okay” if they get deported. I think she’s respecting and supporting the rules of Immigration laws to have legal documentation to live in the United States. Rather than disrespecting and ignoring Immigration laws the way her family did. I think in a way she’s saying “it’s okay” her family gets deported because they deserve to be penalized for breaking Immigration laws for entering and staying in America for 20 or 30 years illegally which is valid and understandable. It comes down to the phrase “You commit the crime you do the time” whether it’s family or not. I believe she has a leg to stand on because she followed Immigration laws, received her Green Card and is living in the United States legally. If a family member of mine committed a crime and were put in jail or deported back to their country I would say “it’s okay” too. You reap what you sow.

I protected them from the racist white people. I'm from Tampa Florida, so I'm used to the jails and prisons being majority, black guys. But in Colorado, it's white supremace, gangs and Mexican gangs. What's even more sickening? Is people from Washington would come in and take some of the Indians out. And when they came back, I would ask them questions and they said that the government people would get information on their family back in India and see if they could pay 50k to stay in America. It was sickening. I found out that what they were doing was deporting. Poor people and the people that have money back in their country. They have their families send money and let them stay. I saw it with my own eyes.

Something trump supporters and everyone needs to understand is that there is NO application to just apply and come here legally! That’s why her family has been here for 20 something years. Only people that can “apply” are asylum seekers. Anyone from any other country there is no such application. There would only be an “application” is there was an immigration reform that would allow people that want to come or have been here to apply. Okay so no 100 k wont' get you that life you dream of, you'll get by in BC, but you can't buy anything. You can rent, you need 200 k now in BC, Kelowna average house is 1.1 m, Vancouver 1 bedroom is 3000 +, nobody wants to live in a jail cell, but maybe some wierdo's do? I don't know. \n\nIf your working and making 100 k in Vancouver, your working likely many hours for that, meaning there is no pay off, no car, rent a small apartment, have little savings.\n\nNow here's the REAL catch. If you make what some think is rich in Canada say 300 k a year. That works out to 182,000 after taxes, pension etc. Now homes in Vancouver, well let's maybe look at small condo's, hmm lets say a 850 sq foot condo sets you back 900 k, monthly mortgage is 6000, that's 72,000 a year, insurance, no car okay can't afford it, maybe a small car, 1000 a month insurance, payments fuel etc, cable, internet phone, etc etc food, another 2000 for a family of 3, wife one child. Thats now 9000 a month, dental, eye glasses, clothes, sports, other, another 1000 a month, 10,000 a month = 120,000 a year to live in a small 2 bedroom condo in Vancouver. Oh and condo fees 500 per month, so 126,000 a year, no extras yet.\n\nmeaning if you make 300 k a year and lets add on JOB expense, usually with high income comes some expenses, lets call it 6000 a year, suits, whatever. Thats 132,000 minus the after tax income of 182 and your left with 50,000 per year for savings and xmas, travel etc.\n\nNow you make 300 k a year and you live in a small 2 bedroom apartment and maybe some day, 10 years down the road you can buy a home. \n\nAnd the max you can afford on 300 k a year is around 1 million after a 100 k deposit.\n\nNow if you make more than that, there is NO reason to live in Canada, in BC they take 48 % of my income and what do I get lol, zilch, bad health care haha fun,

I understand peoples idea of leaving Canada. That's okay, you can do that. I'll never leave Canada. It's my home, it's gonna be my home. Okay Im not a New Yorker and I do not have a horse in this race I did a little googling on it because I was fascinated. As outlined in the Constitution , the House represents citizens based on district populations, while the Senate represents citizens on an equal state basis. This means flooding New York City with all these illegal immigrants drives up the population and creates moue House votes for the state of New York. Now you may think, no that's citizens, actually it isn't. \nMore than 205,000 migrants have arrived in New York City since the spring of 2022. Now while New York's citizen population has been on a slight decline for the last 20 years. While the population is declining make it easier for illegal immigrants to replace those number more quickly. I mean just saying you want to know why this is happening, why the laws are allowing it look at the very basic facts and draw your own conclusions. \nIll keep my own personal opinions to myself as they are theory and nothing I can offer valid proof without them sounding like a conspiracy theory.

The new students who came in May intake haven't got the jobs yet that too in an area where population is relatively smaller, jobs chances are better etc. They have been applying for whole more than 2 months straight almost every day..and still no luck. Homelessness, drug problem is actually a real problem here. Pollution, greenery, electricity, water etc. k mamle mein I would say it's pretty okay unlike India jahan boht mushkil ho jata he. But I thini yahan or bhi bura haal hone wala he. O would prefer India all day every day. Well.. Look I'm not saying Israel is doing everything right they are also making constant use of inhumane methods to justify their cause and goal but at least they are fighting also for the Arab refugees in their state ... In terms of Western values and basic humane rights Muslim ppl living in Israel have it by far better than in most other radical islamic countries

Same here in BC. Years ago Canadians were called & charged for racism if, we didn't hire outher cultures in our businesses. Now they own the majority of businesses & no Canadians working in them. Thats okay for them but not for us. I would say wake up Canadians but, its 30 years too late. What a discrace Canada has become!
