Donald is a convicted felon so I’m hardly surprised that he’s robbing tax payers blind and leaving the security and economic stability of the US off his priority list. He’s there to sifen as much money as possible until he’s kicked out or until he has enough to buy Gaza, and whatever portion of Ukraine Putin has promised him if he lets Russia win. It's about money. Specifically Donald Trump getting as much money as possible from this term. Putin likely told him to make sure to distance America from its allies, so that he can use the USAs military gizmos to expand his mission to take over Ukraine amd any other country he wants. All this in exchange for making him and his cronies filthy rich. Trump keeps dropping clues about the plan. Elon, created Doge to weaken the economy even further so that the USAs assest are devalued and he can officially the US oligarchy. He's been in talks with Putin, we've seen them together. So now this Trump Gold card, is a way in for more oligarchs from Russia specifically to sweep up the remaining industries at a fraction of what they used to be valued. Then the USA will be the western arm of Putins empire. Since he made sure to obliterate all friendly relationships the US had with the western world, the other countries won't do anything to help the US so as to avoid all out war. Trump will then walk off into the sunset as one of the richest, if not the richest, man on earth.

I believe Trump has expressed interest in annexing Canada, possibly in collaboration with Putin. I think it’s a possibility worth considering given the geopolitical landscape. Canada’s valuable resources make it a desirable target. \nMoreover, I believe Canada’s indirect involvement in the conflict with Russia puts Canada in a vulnerable position.

We support our allies. Everyone, except possibly some Republicans, know Trump and Vance work for Putin, not the people. The rest of the Republicans in government, unfortunately, don’t care.

The only possible answer to all of this is that there is no daylight anymore between Trump and Putin, none whatsoever. The only thing stopping or scaling back Trump from taking these measures is when he sees the impact on the markets and consequently impact to his own wealth and that of his billionaire cronies...

Why don't the gloves come off, and we all get to the obvious reality. Trump is doing all he possibly can to sabotage the USA. People need to actually say this out loud and not keep it hidden in the back of their mind. First and foremost let’s be reminded that Trump is doing this for Putin in retaliation to what the Biden administration did to Russia with the sanctions for invading Ukraine. Secondly, Trump wants to be King. By weakening our economy and putting millions of people at risk and ruining their lives, he hopes a civil war can be started so that Russia, North Korea and possibly China can attack us while at war with each other and the Federal Government.

We are angry - with those people who ignorantly voted for Trump and those people who chose not to vote. Not the people who chose to vote democratically to remain a democratic country. We are clear that his real agenda is to use this trade war to attempt to coerce us into becoming the 51st state. For MANY reasons, we will not EVER become part of Trump’s America. We will collectively fight in any way possible, even though we know it will be tough, to prevent it. We also know that there is a bigger picture in that it’s clear that Trump is aligned with Putin in the push to destroy democracy globally in favour of an authoritarian world order that benefits only the ultra rich. Canada, the Ukraine, Greenland and Panama are stepping stones to that end goal.

Canada does not have to defend itself in this case. Its clear that Putin wants to wreak havoc as much as possible and his ' boy' is doing it.

Where did Putin get all his money? He stole it from the Russian government. Is Trump putting these tariffs on countries so more money comes into the government so he can steal it like Putin did, he loves Putin and wants to be like Putin. This is highly possible. Given Trumps record of cheating and lying to gain riches I say it is very possible. Trump should be in prison for Jan 6 not counting the 34 felonies he committed.

What you don't understand is that all what we import from Canada we have here in US, we don't need to get it from Canada, they will have lot of problems if they will not find customer for their resources, Europe is in Putin pocket .
