As somebody born and raised in Canada I’ve always said it was kinda of ironic that a country that was founded by colonizing Indians is getting re-colonized by different Indians

If the plan was to unite all these countries together as one ! Why not ? Why are we fighting anyways, again ? Why don't we all get along !? I live in this godforsaken joke of a country and I've been unemployed for OVER TWO YEARS despite having a degree, 5y experience, and a willingness to move literally anywhere for work. This is all white mens fault. After WW2 they invited every male from the colonies to flood the country. This is not anti-American, it is just fighting back from an unnecessary trade war. It does however break my heart because many Canadians have family on the U.S. side. I know it would also break my father’s heart as he grew up in New England and had a lifetime affection for the U.S. I despise politics and have not been a proud Canadian for a few years but I have to admit that this speech is getting me going again. As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. When I was living in Vancouver, I (and many ppl) would just drive cross the border to get gas and groceries because it's just much cheaper once you're on US soil.... For years we cannot retain any talents because they would just migrate to the states because the pay is much higher with less taxes. I used to live in a bubble thinking that even though life is tough and it's harding to make a living here but at least it's more peaceful here than the States. Every country should be responsible for their own goods. The day we start relying on other countries for what we need we're in a heck of a mess. Can someone please tell Trump Canada is our friend. They have given lives in our wars. They are going to find other customers for their oil while our auto industry will be trashed. They will find other countries to buy their lumber while the cost of building American homes soars. It will be easy for Canada, Mexico and China to come out ahead in this trade war. Trump’s understanding of economics and international trade is at the sixth grade level- and not a very bright sixth grader. Finally where is Trumps plan to protect American families and workers? Well I think we will have to migrate to other countries but that will not help. The only solution is to have him removed from the oval office.
