Im tired of being hit almost every day on my ebike every day. Literally got hit on friday by one in edmonton and I have to taxi and we all know taxi drivers are indian and they are some of the worst drivers I dont how they come to canada get there license and how they come to our country and our eay richer than us white people the government helped them way too much while they dont help the people that lived here there whole lives. I lived in Brampton when its populations was 16,000 and it had a wooden bridge that crossed the Etobicoke Creek that ran across Hwy10 south at Meadowland park. It was washed away in 1965 flood. Small town, very 'orange', ie. Scottish protestant. Zero ethnics. Heck, they even hated the Catholics and wouldn't let them build the first Catholic church without a battle. It had one cinema downtown that charged .25cents for kids and .50cents for an adult ticket. It had a public pool that all the kids peed in during the summer and a red brick library which we went to religiously, every Friday to change our books. That town has completely disappeared. I used to drive to Brampton once a month for a meeting but decided driving into Brampton was such a risky behaviour especially on Bovaird, that I stopped going. Brampton has lost it character and exploded into a monstrous tract of cookie cutter box houses and strip malls. No one knows anyone else and there are no real neighbourhoods. If this is progress, give me the good old days when we could ride our bikes up and along Kennedy Road to Heart Lake conservation and go wading in the creek looking for tadpoles all day.

The older whites in Brampton seem to be blaming others because they failed in life. Anyone in Brampton knows a lot of the whites are on drugs in the downtown area. People started getting annoyed about Brampton when the international student boom happened. This is different from families settling or people starting families. Peope dont realise this but there is no stopping immigration in Canada. The stock market anticipates huge immigration as it is the only feasible path towards growing corporate profits. If we dont have huge immmigration, the purchasing power of boomers, derived from a booming market and real estate market, will lead to massive inflation as labor shortages occur. There is nothing we can do to stop this. Canada and Mexico are not responsible for the people in the US who chose to use drugs. In fact, it's the United States job to keep illegal drugs and immigrants out of the US and they are doing a poor job of it and need someone else to blame. Of late, JT ( Liberal party) has become the whipping boy of Canada for all wrong reasons especially for the intake of a large number of international students and no one seems to be blaming the Conservative party that actually removed  the cap in 2014.  In 2014, in line with the International Education Strategy published by the  Government of Canada, the ruling dispensation decided to raise the number of international students from around 240,000 to over 450,000 by the year 2022. \n\nAccordingly in 2014, the then ruling dispensation (Conservative party) enhanced the number of international students visas to 327 thousand from the previous cap of 240 thousand.  In 2015, the figure went upto 352 thousand, representing almost a 47% increase  by CPC during their last 2 years in office .  As of 2023, there are over 1.5 million students holding study permits in Canada. \n\nIt is a known fact and no Canadian can sweep it under the carpet that the economic impact from the contribution by international students was felt across the entire country. From a mere $ 9 billion in 2014 it went to $12.8 billion in 2015 and it further enhanced to 15.5 billion in 2016. \n\nBy 2022, the Canadian government reported that the annual economic contribution of international students had increased to $22.3 billion, greater than exports of auto parts, lumber or aircraft. \n\nNow it is for the Canadians  to decide  as to who should be blamed  for  if Canadians feel that their country has become like a third world country- the international students who had contributed more than $22.3 billion to the exchequer of the govt  in the last 10 years or both the mainstream political parties namely Liberal Party and Conservative  Party  that failed the Canadians by opening up the flood gate to international students with  their eyes set only on the economic contribution  by international students  without  realising the after effect of huge unchecked  immigration of students.
