So sad this made all Indians look bad! They all have to work together to make it a better place to live! Improvement is necessary! Calgary is getting worst too. They drive BMW and Mercedes and many of them did 50-100km over the speed limit. I wish there are more cameras around to catch these ugly drivers. Too much freedom is going to create more criminal!

Why is it so difficult to have reasonable conversations about this? Most of this video is completely true — but so many comments show love to that bike guy who was factually incorrect and pointlessly racist. But on the other hand, so many woke types don’t even want to admit the problem. They also don’t want to talk about how the government is complicit. Every nation has a right to define itself, and how much immigration it wants, and how that immigration happens. It is beyond ridiculous to not speak the primary language of the country you emigrate to. But why say weird shit like indians eat shit?? Or that 1.5 billion people are all the same? The rationale behind early immigration was to be very tough and selective about who enters and lives here. They welcomed students because it brought in a lot of revenue so that’s a win-win, but to LIVE they had to prove they were an asset to the community. Now the whole thing is manipulated. You don’t have proper vetting for the students because of fake colleges that just want to make money. You don’t have proper limits on immigration and criteria for jobs/skills because companies want to make money. Politicians just do whatever strategy gets votes. But for some reason people either only get woke about the positives of Indian immigrants or only negative, sometimes racist about them. It’s fair to acknowledge that rampant, unchecked immigration ruins the culture. Like Indian driving culture is fucking terrible. You don’t want to bring that shit over. You can also acknowledge that early immigrants and their kids are often completely American/Canadian, from their native language, accents, education, references etc. And that Indians are generally a low-crime, high-employment, high-tax-paying immigrant group. And we ALSO acknowledge that that’s changing because of the type/number of people coming in, and the financial and political incentives which support it. It causes valid resentment. These fucking human smuggling rings are real af. Wokies don’t ever talk about it. But I wish we could have this conversation without the racism.

I agree with Michelle somewhat, but she doesn't need to exaggerate. It will be a lot stronger if she gives just the actual numbers. 80% of claimants are legitimate , it's not 50%. I wish both sides would just stick to facts.

I typically do not agree with a lot of what the conservatives say, and I usually do not like anything that Michelle Rempel Garner says (or the way she says it). However, what she said here, and the way she said it, makes complete sense. Can we have a referendum for a city to leave Alberta? After all, the referendums can be played by various sides... Be careful what you wish for you may get it... Also, the question are actually misleading: Alberta does have its own provincial nomindation program and can nominate people to obtain permanent residence in Alberta.

I'm all for referenda, the trouble is when government picks the issue, they are usually doing so for political reasons, not legislative ones. Harper pulled the same thing when he took a first nations treaty agreement that had been twenty years in the making between THREE levels of government and threw it to a referendum of a population that had NO idea what it was about, so they just reacted along racist lines thinking 'first nations are taking over'. But in any case, a referenda is better than not, sure as hell wish we had Citizens Initiatives in my province to stop some of the horrible public policy decisions.

Just a small word here. Khalistan sikh are not Indian Sikh. They are people who are wanted for various crimes even in India. This is why when you come to a different country you should try to assimilate. I am all four people keeping their culture alive. I wish as an American I had more of a culture. But for one you should learn to speak the language you can speak your native tongue also but you should also speak the language to the country you’re going to, and the driving issue I’m pretty sure is due to the way they drive in India there’s like no road laws and its insane driving. Maybe there needs to be more laws regarding some of these things you should have to take driving lessons in the country you’re moving to. I don’t exactly know but there needs to be more rules. I’m sorry to say but it is not OK to go to another country and basically give them the middle finger to the way they live!!

I’m grew up in Brampton, born here to immigrant parents who came in the 90s. The new generation of immigrants have really created a bad image for Indians here, I will encounter all kinds of racism online or in real life, and the hatred is real. I wish it wasn’t so, but Brampton and for that matter the GTA is not equipped to handle these many people. Then you get the sheer number of illegal rooming houses, fraud, general disrespect for the norms and traditions of Canada from the newer generations of immigrants it just really paints a bad picture of Indian people. I hope things can change and both Indians and Canadians can live together and foster mutual respect for each other, but we are a long ways away

Canada is a country of immigrants. Some towns have higher concentrations than others. But there is significant racism here with this anti-Indian sentiment.. Do folks walk through Toronto's "Little Italy" neighborhood and bitch and whine about how they wish all these wops would leave and go back to Italy? Of course not. But, because these specific immigrants are also a visual minority, the racism factor goes up ten fold. Immigration has helped Canada exponentially more than it has hurt it. Be better - this is clearly very racist and xenophobic content.

I'm glad Tyler is more or less neutral in his findings. It's true, many Indian's have come to Canada and I'm sure many do wish for a better life. Canadians understand this, but the methods the government of Canada is doing to push the numbers too high and too quickly is what's surprising to many. It's the accountability of the government that should be under scrutiny. If immigration was moderate and consistent, the social issues would not be as rampant, but social media loves stir the pot. This is also happening while Canada's housing infrastructure is crumbling, healthcare is deteriorating and general cost of living in Canada has skyrocketed and priced many Canadians out of simple living and enjoyment. Do you think Canadians today are as happy or well off as Canadians even 5 years ago? Do the results reflect that of other countries besides Canada?

Just so we are clear, bro I just moved to Brampton myself. I am a Canadian born citizen, but also Hindu Punjabi but i recently got baptized into Christianity. For all the Indians reading comments here We are hated because of these: - Abandoning shopping carts in walmart/supermarket parking lot, or dragging the carts to the place where you live and throwing it by the roadside - Zooming past two way/four way stop signal - Unnecessarily accelerating and revving cars while driving through a residential area. Trust me ITS NOT "COOL" - Playing Punjabi gangster rap music at full volume, or talking loudly on phone when using public transport - Talking loudly with friends in places where we are expected to talk softly: Hospitals, museums, art gallery government/visa office, Medical centers/clinic - Stretching yours legs over the opposite empty seat while travelling in bus or train. Crowding the Handicap ramp to access GO train because it makes it easier to board the train (WTF!). - Suddenly switching lanes and turning into streets without using the indicator. - Opening the car door in full swing and leaving a dent/scratch on the next car at parking lots. Not so much as a courtesy to leave a sorry note. - Stealthily walking the dog at night and not picking up after dog - Throwing the car's garbage towards the direction of the dustbin when driving past a bus stop in residential area. - No basic etiquette and manners of wishing, thanking or apologizing. Did you know you are supposed to greet/wish the bus driver when you board a bus? - Refusing to speak in English while in Indian populated city. - Brampton, even worse - trying to fake an accent when you suck at grammar - Partying loudly through the night with no regards to neighbors - Culture dumping - deliberately bursting crackers when the city has banned it, making agni kund in backyard without taking safety precautions, its a fire hazard for houses built of wood, loudly playing mantras/bhajans early morning when you are living in a Condo/apartment - Not caring to shovel snow off footpath - Not showering after you've cooked at home and smelling like curry in the office.
