I have heard, when they go visit their homeland, they feel so proud telling their locals that they are settled in one of these Western countries and are not locals like them. I grew up in Brampton from 1985 to 2010. I watched it change. Not for the better. I got the hell out there and every time I go back to visit my fam, it's even worse. Almost never seeing any other race but Indian lol. It all has to do with Trudeau's dad designating that city as a go-to place for Indian migrants. The Trudeau's are part of the whole Satanic New World Order, and part of that order is using mass immigration as a weapon to destroy 1st world countries. His father started it back in the 70s. And yeah the driving is absolutely horrible. The car insurance skyrocketed. They destroyed the city I grew up in. It's a shit hole now. Many of them will tell you that India itself is a shit hole, but the more of them that come to Brampton, or wherever, they turn it into India. I don't consider it racism. It's their people but it's not like it's all of them, but it is a lot. From personal observance, they're the most unhygienic people I've ever met, and they love easy jobs the involve scamming others out of money. All of those scam callers are Indian. Nothing else. They have no dignity. No self respect. They just want money and don't care how to get it. I generally don't like them, but it's because of their negative behaviors. There are plenty of other races that come to Canada that people love. Have you ever heard of anyone complain about Filipinos? No. They're loved. They come here and know how to assimilate while keeping their own heritage intact in respect to our own. They're friendly, respectful, hygienic. Indian people just want to come here and make this place Indian and they have tons of kids, so that's exactly what's happening. Brampton was cooked years ago. It's just going to devour itself and fully become an extension of India, and it already has been spreading out from Brampton to the surrounding cities.

Any person in Canada without the provincial insurance has to pay everything out of pocket. I just got my dads blood work done today and he is on a visitor visa. It costed me $750 dollars, and before that just a walk in visit costed me $$175 dollars. And about paying taxes, I garuntee you a single houshold of Indians pay more in Taxes than a whole street of these white shit heads. The amount of myths they have created around immigrants is astonishing. There is is a reason conservatives loves the poor and the uneducated. You can clearly see the stark difference between how a Canadian born and raised person is speaking about other and how an immigrant is speaking about others and distributing free food and serving the society. THe people who have never tried to help anyone will always be jealous of those who help and prosper. My husband and I were both immigrants to Canada, he from S. Africa, I from the UK. I never experienced any discrimination. My busband was diagnosed with late stage bone cancer at 31 years old. The medical care was so good that he lived another 6 mostly happy years. We were supported by the Ontario Health Care system with visiting nurses, even housekeepers and received every help we could possibly need, at no cost to us. I will always be grateful for the love and support we received from Canadian friends, employers and the medical professionals. What a country! I am in Europe now but feel strongly that Canada, the EU, Britain, the wonderful Ukrainians (I know quite a few refugees) and other countries of good will should work together for a better world. The speech of Mr Trudeau, the way Canadians have shown solidarity for one another, today it all puts my country, The US, to shame. I am ashamed of what my government is doing and I am disgusted with the people doing it. In Mr Trump’s first term, as eclipsed as they were by the many many many actions and attitudes he imposed on us that embarrassed and hurt us as a country, there was the rare occasional decision I could at least understand even if I did not support it. Since taking office literally not one thing he has done has made sense to me as an American. I grew up in Commerce Twp Michigan. I visited Canada regularly and, even as crime from Detroit poured across the border into Canada, Canadians always treated us with respect and welcome. I was planning to go to a U.S. National Park, but I guess I will go to Canada and visit theirs while also giving them my money. I love our national parks, but waiting in line to get in or going to one to find it littered because we can't be proud enough to pay for care of our parks? So pathetic. I recently watched a You Tube video from a couple, who had never been in Canada, it was quite amazing, think it was called something Southern or so. one of the main things, the gentleman was looking for is they had travelled from the west trough Toronto to the East and threw their arms up, saying, where are all the police, they had only seen 1 cop car in the city on their visit. secondly, he was dissappointed he could see where the hoods were, he wanted to see the Crackheads. (we dont have hoods like they do in the US)., another thing was he was sad because he couldnt find any Moose while they were driving from Niagara Falls to Toronto. My father was an American, I would never move to the USA . I used to enjoy to visit. However I find today that it is too dangerous. I was po'd that I had to pay $13 for a tv in my room when I had my kids LMAO! Canadian problem. Free now though. For the most part I like the safety and security of Canada. I always feel a little in danger when I visit the US. I think the idea that anyone can carry a weapon freaks me out. But, I love the shopping in the states. It is not cheaper for us to buy down there but you guys have way more variety.

Hell no! It’s a fun place to visit, I love Florida California. I’m looking forward to going to the Carolinas, but I would never move there permanently. As a woman in Canada with children, what I do with my uterus is nobody’s business. I like my option of 18 month parental leave. I like my option not to do overtime and not have affect my job. I like my vacation and I like my sick leave. We have a safety net up here for mother‘s allowance child tax credit unemployment insurance. It is a safety net for hand up, not a handout .You guys like to pick your presidents and what your comedians will make for a living for the next 4 to 8 years. Up here we pick our Prime Minister‘s based on what they do up until they are seeking election and vote accordingly. We’re not allowed to carry weapons and use them for protection up here we look out for each other. I would prefer my children to live in a multicultural society where they are just used to other traditions and culture and Orientationchoices. That is not based on the colour of your skin. I like to have a conversation about a political opponent without it getting dangerous you’re allowed to have an opinion up here and that’s how we view it, but quite frankly after half an hour 15 minutes we we get bored of political views and just walk away from you.There’s no such a thing as you don’t want to live in that area and you have to be careful about where your kid goes to school. What does that do to the people that you’ve left behind? How does that make that better for them? I had a friend that worked down in the United States and every time I talk to her, she always uttered. I have to be aware of my white privilege. What the hell is that and I have never seen anything in your news down there about your native society we try to acknowledge and integrate them quite frankly, you guys are just worried about yourselves and not about anybody else

I am a senior and live in Vancouver, BC and my son who has dual citizenship lives in Seattle, WA. His wife and him will move back to Canada when he retires. I visit Seattle and enjoy going there. The shopping is great fun especially with all the big store headquarters being there and we can't forget Trader Joe's. I don't drink alcohol anymore, but the cost, volume and availability is crazy. He also lived in New York and lived a train ride away to the suburbs (great system) and was a lovely area to raise a family. Visited NYC and loved it. I've lived in Montreal and just love big cities. In saying all that, I think were all basically the same, however I could never permamentally live in the US. I can no longer afford the outrageous travel health insurance to travel to the USA because of my age and health issues. I have a primary doctor and four specialists that I see on a regular basis, waiting for a hip replacement and none has cost me a cent. Oh yes, I get free dental care. I wouldn't move to the states, but would sure like to visit again. Politics is a whole other subject.

wow this is just an opinion video of sorts, but guess i'm proud to live in montreal. i own the last army surplus store here. 1423 st laurent. i love montreal as a city, the food is second to none for all of north america. um, weather is full winter during dec to feb. i also live near magog in the eastern townships which is beautiful.\ni've been to pei, love it there, great beaches and very quiet. never been to BC, and living here, i would never visit the middle of canada, just flat and boring and drugs are a big problem and homelessness. cabot trail in ( i did it on bicycle) is fabulous. quebec city, amazing.\ni'm a proud canadian and surely there are far worse countries in the world to live in. but when i retire full time , it will leave for a warmer climate (snow bird) in the winter. not florida, too busy and not nearly as nice as the Caribbean, i go to Curacao 1 month every winter. perfect weather and being dutch has great food and is safe island and beaches are second to none........

Thank you for summarizing these key changes! Many problems are actually the Canadian immigration system not learning from the mistakes of the US system and now it’s suffering the same consequences. If Canada cuts down on those selected immigrations but still takes in refugees, it’s only going to make anti-immigrant sentiment worse. Selected immigrants are allowed into Canada to help alleviate Canadian issues…or at least people who come through Express Entry are less likely to become a burden. On the other hand, refugees, given their unfortunate circumstances, really need to rely on a lot of social services and resources to help them resettle. The US has eliminated pretty much all non-humanitarian immigration that’s why immigrants are so demonized there. Americans only feel the drags of refugees and asylum seekers (even though ethically we need to protect them) and there is no selected immigration to balance that out. Yet this round of Canadian policy change is heading exactly that direction.\n\nIt used to be international students in Canada are not paying a lot more tuition than Canadian students. But Canadian universities saw how much money universities in the US are making so they asked the federal government to change the policy to enable them to charge international students several times the regular tuition (whereas in countries like France, international students actually pay less than citizens). So now Canadian universities rely too much on international students to operate and it becomes an exploitative relationship even before students step foot on the campus. The new PGWP eligibility is awful because students can make contributions in every field. It might (and that's a big if) address the pressing problems, but it won't help Canada grow.\n\nI thought the new language requirement was interesting. Some Canadians who immigrated decades ago when the bar was really low still speak English poorly and now they are saying people can’t come to Canada because their language skills are not sufficient. Another point about language is if you apply through Express Entry now, even if you scored the highest language score, given how competitive the pool is, you still won’t get selected. So it’s a given that you need to be fluent in one of the languages at least to get an invitation. Express Entry also selects only the top people, I saw the head of The Institute for Canadian Citizenship in interviews talking about those top-tier people only expect the best treatment/lifestyle when they come to Canada. That's why many of them leave after seeing these Canadian problems play out. But I believe a good Canadian life is not about living in a high rise in Vancouver and Toronto, driving an expensive car, or buying luxury items...it's about the communities, nature and middle-class comfort. So the system is giving PRs to the wrong kind of people (just like mismatched people when hiring that don't align with company values).\n\nThis brings me to the last frustrating issue. There were so many people who attended “fake” universities and bought “fake” jobs to earn points to get an Express Entry invitation. And it's clear that the government wasn't proactively catching these abuses. They are taking up spots from those who try to earn the points fair and square. If I understand correctly, Canada doesn’t send these people away if they are found out (since some of them were scammed). So they still take up immigration quotas.\n\nI have wanted to move to Canada for a long time. I have visited Canada many times, hiking trails through the coastline and fjords, climbing mountains and glaciers. I lived in Montreal for two months to improve my French and I was told by my homestay family that I was the first student they had who didn’t complain about the cold (I wish the winter never ends so I can skate or xc ski in the parks year-round). I have probably seen more Canada than many Canadians and I love every bit of it. But the opportunity for me to even get a shot to move there is pretty much nonexistent now. I was born in Quebec, moved to BC and then too Ontario. You should ask why so many of us left Quebec (the last place I would want to live ) why I left BC (most woke province ) and settled in Ontario. I have visited 65 countries. Those that live in the third world would love the opportunity to live in Canada. They can live without and save as Canadians did generations ago. It has become easy for Canadians as they became wealthy with high wages and rewarded with massive returns on real estate. Those Canadians that did not invest in real estate or do not /can not work at a decent job are suffering with the high prices of everything and accentuated by an irresponsible federal govt regarding fiscal prudence.

Thankfulness. 4 surgical teams, 10 hr surgery, 1wk in hosp, months of homecare, rehab and follow up mri and care. Yikes. My sis moved down in 1976, was good when she was in her 30’s while she worked. Her husband, American, went off on Canadian disability and once my sister retired their healthcare costs were crazy. They moved to a state that had better senior med care. I was visiting four yrs ago. My sis had several hosp visits due to heart issues. She ended up having open heart surgery. The hospital was lovely. Care was great. Pt care room was huge. I was used to tight icu cubicles. She had complications, day 4 the social worker came to tell her she was being discharged the next day. Her insurance had run out. There was no further coverage!!! She was in her 80’s had just had a stent blow thru her R coronary artery 5 days earlier then have bypass surgery and had just come off a ventilator the day before. I had to get back to Canada the next day. Thankfully, the social worker was able to continue working to find respite care at a nursing home for her for a couple more wks. \n\nI love certain parts of the states having spent a majority of my childhood visiting since my big sister moved there. Both countries are having issues now. Housing sucks in canada. If you aren’t doing well financially, canada isn’t all that great anymore either.

Honestly, I moved out from Canada to UK last year for job and I also loved to visit Eaton center but trust me UK has the worst scenario if we talk about creating ruckus, most of them are Punjabis on student visa or dependents.

I am 45yo and from Brazil. I visited Canada for the 1st time when I was 12. I fell in love with it. Decided I would live there some day.\n\nTen years ago I returned with my wife. The idea was to show her around and see if she was onboard with my plan. She loved it!!!\n\nI am the kind of guy who plans ahead (military...). Our plan was to get papers in order and apply for residency so we would move there around 2025 or 2026.\n\nOur plans started to change about 5 years ago with all the madness that came to Canada during and after the 2020 flu season. \n\nWe recently got our permanent residency elsewhere with better climate, great food, lower costs and much more freedom. \n\nWe are moving next year. \n\nBut Canada taught us that one has to be paying attention to the signs. It all changed so fast in Canada. \n\nBut it is still a beautiful place. I just do not intend to call it home anymore.

I visited both few months ago and man i loved Canada so much i would move there if not for my family and friends, it was so nice even at night you can walk safely and have positive interactions with people, when i was in NY everything was so damn expensive i just wanted to go back to Montreal. Also Preach is 100% right about women they're tough as hell in NY ? They were much nicer in Canada for sure?

I had visited Canada since the 1980's on both coasts, mostly Quebec providence, Alberta and British Columbia. I loved Canada, sometimes more than the U.S., which is where I was from. Canada has been taken over by the bastard son of Fidel Castro who is ruining the country at a surprising pace, mostly because they take advantage of the civility and kindness of its people. I rue the day that actor/freakshow took over for his cuckolded father. I am sorry that I won't come any longer but more sad for the people who are living through this sh*tshow.

And yet it is so much better than the USA. I visit Canada often from the US and was able to transfer my teaching credential to British Columbia. I can see from many Canadian's perspective why they want to leave. Perspective is everything and I feel connected and at home in Canada. I do know about the issues there as I keep up with all the news in most of the provinces but I still love it there. The fact that 45% of Americans were ok with an election being overturned has made me sick. In addition, our social fabric sucks. I started planning my move to Canada about 3 years ago and I should be there soon.

Now memory came back to me when I was in Vancouver for 3 days and enjoyed my time over Canada in 2015 for a concert, Canada was the first country I've visited outside of the United States I'll never for get it the people where amazing very polite there was a moment in my life that I wanted to move to Canada now thinking over my decision after some years later I'm glad I didn't. I can't believe how bad it has gotten I'm now sure its gotten worse now. Respect your decision I glad to see your doing it, I would love to experience life for us... we only live once it'll be amazing for anyone do what you are doing, I have been thinking of going over doing content about traveling because it is about the journey and if for some reason If I like then.... go for it!
