I live in the area, and its become unrecognizable, I could have never predicted this invasion.. I want to get out as soon as possible.

This was predictable….Liberal government likes to pardon violent criminals and give them PR / Citizenship…meanwhile if an American trying to enter Canada but convicted of drug possession, they are sent back. SMH .

If we actually want solutions, we should be talking about things like real-time tracking for overstays, linking federal/provincial systems, funding enforcement properly, and setting penalties that are predictable and enforced. Bring in experts not random paper pushers for “gotcha” moments. Sessions like this aren’t about fixing the system, they’re about stoking outrage. And more often than not, it ends up targeting vulnerable groups instead of creating policy that actually works.

As an Indian, I could have predicted fraud with this community without any study……..it’s how they roll!

Brother JamCan, this whole thing was predictable decades ago! I got to Canada in 1995 right after hell unfolded in the country of a thousand hills! I saw with my own eyes & felt from personal experience how great my adopted country was! However, not everything was rosy! I saw and experienced the "not-in-your-face" anti-black racism, whether politically, socially, and most def in the employment market! At the same time, the establisment (read white folks) was busy encouraging & promoting east indians to take up leadership roles in all spheres of the society, thus making them the "model minority" in the country! This mess was bound to happen, and in the end, this is what got us here! My feeling is that white canada is totally responsible for this, and they should stop crying on TV, roll up their sleeves, and clean up the mess! Peace Out!

Their only job will be to fight the future civil war, which quicky will run along ethnic lines. It is simply cheaper than a conventional war. Also, the outcome is more predictable. Unfortunately, Canadians have no sense of self-preservation.

Trump has the right to do what's best for America, but Canada needs to start building a strong partnership with more stable and predictable countries like China and certain EU nations. It should be concerning when he can't see a reason for these actions, for cozying up to Putin and alienating allies. There's no end goal here that is in the US' interest. North Carolinian American here. I am ashamed of our country pushing our allies away. What I and many others want to let our allies know is that we support them. Our country is getting closer to isolationism, and it isn't good if we want inflation and prices to go down. History has shown us what happened to our country when we were isolated, and it brought economic devastation throughout the country. I hope that it isn't severe, but I predict that our president, and the Republican Party that controls the legislature and the Supreme Court will definitely cripple the economy, and will find a way to blame the party, where they are not in control.

Netherlands here: Trump HAS to impose tariffs because he promised it a zillion times during his campaign. As a major narcissist he cannot afford to say that he made a mistake, and therefor: tariffs. I predict however that this period will not last very long. Only as long as necessary to make it possible for Trump to say that they didn't work out as planned because of some reason.

Trade wars always comes before an actual war (happened before WW1 and America waged a trade war with Japan prior to WW2). I predict America will be invading Mexico first in a blitzkrieg and then when the US economy is in a war economy it'll try to invade Canada. Heck Trump has already stated as much when he said Canada will be the 51st state of America.

The United States has been printing trillions of dollars and exporting them for years, they’re hiding under the mattresses of Third World countries for a rainy day. If the EU says we no longer will accept dollars, the United States will disappear overnight. The BRICS countries will pile up on the USA, which will be alone in the world. Hyperinflation and poverty will be the result. This ability to weaken the USA economy and currency, By simply saying we want to move away from that currency, will make Wall Street run away from it. The printed trillions that slowly flew out the country will fly back in days, creating a hyperinflation that Zimbabwe and Venezuela wish they had…. Warren Buffet is getting out of the United States stock market to the tune of $350 billion and put that money in the Japanese stock market, this should tell you what is going to happen soon. It's not easy for average & below average minds to anticipate what Trump will do when he says, because he has problems articulating logic due to synapses misfirings in the brain. Large minds are better able to predict him because they anticipate his dark impulses, everytime.
