Donald, in his whole time as a 'leader' (which he clearly isn't) never ever was able to even close hold a speach like this. And he never will be. He is just not a smart man. This decision was a big big mistake. Thanks to Mr. Trudeau for standing up against this characterless BULLY. The Canadians must be so proud of you. I just hope Mexico ( and all the rest of us 'willing countrys') will do the same. I do feel sorry for all the american people who saw this coming and have to suffer now. I hope this all ends well. if Mr. Trudeau only knew how embarrassed a vast majority of the civil minded thinking portion of our country really is about this current administration he would know how we appreciate his eloquence, actual truth and steadfast determination to stand up against the atrocities being spewed in all directions right now..hopefully we can rise up to the challenge facing us and rid the world of the lying, duplicitous corruption systemic from the ground up in this current MAGA quagmire..

Mr. Trudeau, As an American who has never voted for Trump, I apologize for the person we currently have in the White House, and wish Canada and Mexico the best. Do what you have to do, and hopefully it will cause enough disruption that Trump will have to retreat. Most of us consider Canadians and Mexicans our friends. A lot of people in the US are contacting our representatives in Congress, participating in economic boycotts, and joining groups like the ACLU that are bringing lawsuits against some of the actions that have already occurred. As eloquent and dignified Mr. Trudeau is here, and how rational his response is, it's wasted breath. You can't reason with an entitled child. We tried to reason with the children that were voting for him and it fell on deaf ears. He's no different. They know it all, all while knowing absolutely nothing. There's no changing their minds. I hope with all of my being that this hits those who support him the hardest and brings them significant financial pain. I certainly hope, that if the US remove the said tariffs, that we will keep our export tariffs on the selected products for 4 years. Congratulations Mr. Trudeau, you finally sound like our Prime Minister should. Now start making this country self sufficient so we don't have to rely on anyone. No more selling off our Crown corporations our land and other businesses to foreign countries. Keep Canada Canadian and give jobs to born Canadians first. Stock pile our oil and gas for our use and lower the prices of these things so that transportation cost make things easier for business and personal enjoyment. Don't tax the farmer so that they can supply food to everyone cheaper. We should not be struggling in this country which has all the natural resources . The unnatural population growth has put a strain on the whole system and in some cases put us in danger too. The crime rate has increased in large part to your lax immigration system. All the businesses increased the prices of everything due to this unnatural population growth. Supply and demand is not working the way it is supposed to anymore. In a normal household we make plans and prepare for changes. You just said ok, let's bring people here and forgot about the preparations. Infrastructure first man. If your going to bring half a million people over here, build the houses first bro. Nobody in Canada should be homeless which is another result of poor preparation. The housing prices and everything else went through the roof in large part due to the unnatural population growth. Anyway, think first before you act just like in a private home. Without harming relations between our countries, he can put diplomacy aside, while expressing himself in a respectful manner. Ukrainians must fight against an invader and put their lives in danger. You’re our neighbors (the state of Tennessee USA here) and we see you’re having to put up with everything the Democrats want to do to us if they come into power this November.
