As a European, I support Canada 100%. I can't understand how educated people voted such a disaster into office not once, but twice. It is really pretty normal for most of europeans to speak at least 3 langauges in mi case I speak and understand almost everything in english, french, portuguese, italian, spanish and a lot of german.\nTrump is really an idiot and ignorant because he just speak english and horrible!!\nHe sounds like a drunk person.

As an American, we don’t want this either. I don’t understand what and why to be honest. All I know was in November 2024 I woke up to the worst feeling I have ever had. I will be buying Canadian and Mexican whenever possible, and have changed my European vacation plans to spend my vacation dollars in Canada this spring and in Mexico this fall.\n\nI am impressed with the alternative trade agreements Canada is developing. Trudeau resigned as prime minister because he was deeply unpopular in Canada. I sincerely don't understand why people have an issue with people who came here illegally getting deported. It's not at all racially motivated or discrimination. Whether they are serious criminals or just entered illegally - it is not right for them to be here, or be provided services paid for by tax paying Americans. As an educated American citizen, If I want to move to UK or European countries I have to jump through many hoops, prove I have my own money to support myself, and possibly meet a language requirement. Why is it that we just accommodate anyone who wants entry to USA? It baffles me. I have friends all upset about deportations and it's ridiculous. I can't understand why we bother to have any laws if we don't enforce them? I have 2 family members who immigrated here LEGALLY. That's the only way it should be allowed and we should up the requirements to gain entry as well.

You have to understand one thing. Few people from Europe can't claim a big country like USA as their property. Just like Europeans migrated to that land, other people will also come. Migration is an integral part of human civilization. Human beings have been migrating ever since they first appeared.

As a Pakistani, I understand that Indians, Bengalis and Pakistanis are considered by Europeans and Americans to be immoral. And it is also a fact that the people of these three countries of South Asia are extremely dirty and rude. They are not trained to eat, speak, or go to public places.Now, even in South Korea, Indians and Pakistanis are prohibited from entering clubs and bars. \nTherefore, the improvement lies in the fact that instead of earning wealth, one should first learn how to live.

Thank you for your honest attempt to understand our culture our history, our sense of humor, and what makes us Canadian; rather than American. Our general acceptance of immigration brings richness and change to our culture. We have a more cooperative than competetive attitude,I believe. I live in Germany for about 6 years, moving from Bosnia and didnt have any of those problems mentioned, excluding the bureaucratic hurdels. Granted, i do speak German natively since ive spent my early childhood years here. To be fair i do think that learning the language of the nation you are moving to as fluently as possible should be a no brainer.\nWhat people arround the world need to understand is that European countries are NOT the USA. These are nations that exist for thousands of years with clear cultural parameters born out of centuries of strugle, war and hardship. These are strongly embeded into the minds of the people living here. The jist of it is that Europeans have known this for a long time, literally knowing ´´what the others are like´´. So its much easier to adapt. Of course it helps that most European countries have simmilar religious and social values.

The center and right are supportive of LEGAL immigration, as it is part of the unique fabric of our country - but are against ILLEGAL immigration. The American left tends to purposefully muddy the waters on this issue, so they can make anyone opposing illegal immigration look like they oppose ALL immigration.\n\nThis is also a distinction that is often muddied or glossed over by Europeans when they try to understand American politics. In Europe, being opposed to immigration, generally means you’re opposed to all of it, legal or illegal. So many Europeans incorrectly view the America center-right as being anti-immigrant. Similar situation in Ireland, they are taking all the IT jobs. Some work in our health care system and the standard is awful. They also work in customer care phone lines with EBay and Bank of Ireland, impossible to understand their accents when they speak English, never give your personal banking details to Indians. Similar has happened to Surrey/North Delta British Columbia of the 400,000 residents living here,179,000 are from India. I remember years ago when Brampton was a small quaint town back in the 1970s this India didn't exist. Generally this happens when years ago real estate was cheap all the Indians moved in to the cheaper part of the community then slowly took over, and invaded the community. Same happened in 1995 in Richmond BC when Hong Kong leases expired with China. This once beautiful community was completely invaded.\n\nSo much for immigrants who immigrate to Canada that do not understand how Canada works and frankly don't care, There is no education program to help integrate such people to be multicultural , unfortunately this happened with the old Europeans as well as little Italy, and other areas where other European took over little areas of Toronto. \n\nHowever I think Brampton, and Surrey/North Delta/Richmond BC. Is far far worse and much more invaded by people not wanting to truly integrate in Canadian society. It's blantantly in your face and when and event happens india or any other countries of such immigrants are coming from they amsss huge protests to bring it to the media as if Canada is responsible for that. I went to Germany for my Masters at one of their top universities, back then (10 years ago) taken in by their great public image and a personal interest in Germany history and culture. Looking back now having also experienced living in the UK, HK and Sweden thereafter, I can understand why Germany has trouble attracting the top talents, or any ambitious individuals seeking to develop their career overseas.\n\nIt doesn't provide the money.\nIt doesn't provide a dynamic enough market and opportunities.\nIt doesn't provide the same type of diversity and excitement in truly world-class cities like London, HK etc. Don't get me started on food.\nEverything is functional but that seems to be the sole standard to aspire to. \nGermans are not the people whom you can bond easily. Sincere and friendly many are, but the amount of effort needed to even crack beyond that shell is ridiculous. In this respect I think most north europeans are quite cold and distant. But working with Germans you need to also handle their 'honesty', intensity and directness on top of that. The lack of nuance rubs a lot of people in the wrong way. \n\nThe Germans whom I met and spent their formative years overseas are fantastic. Invariably none of them would have thought of moving back.

Understanding that “migrants” (colonizers) are weapons is the first step. I enjoy seeing Eastern Europeans understanding this.

Well, I am leaving, yes. Although I am very grateful with Germany, I work in IT, and I don't hold a diploma, but I have more than 20 years of experience in the field, I always been offered jobs beneath my experience, only because of a paper. I am Italian and was very enthusiastic when I arrive 4 years ago, but the way I was treated was mostly bad, that led me not wanting to study the language anymore, people were so agressive in the streets. When I needed the back of the justice, it was never on my favour, even when I was right, as I was hit in the street by a stranger who made my face bleed, police said that it was nothing and that it was the opposite, even when they had evidence. I was mistreated at a hospital in Schwabing, München and medical attention was refused, police didn't help and they requested my to litereally scream for help, and I did because I was bleeding on a place I didn't know, with -4 degrees, without any jacket. I even tried with the discrimination line, which doesn't work, and if you write them an Email, they will say they cannot help. I Will never understand that level of cruelty, not to mention 5000 Euros I had to pay for a ticket, because I suppousedly scratch the car of a person and because my Kaution was never returned, tried, but never got a lawyer, because you need to pay for the air you breathe in this country. ARD, what is that? You pay for the right of internet, and you pay internet as well, the desorganization with the states is massive, and often times, you will get a letter in your box post having to pay somehting else. My energy and money was completely drained. I just had it. Despite of everything, this country tought me great things, like discpline and hard work which I really appreciate and will take this knowledge...somewhere else. I also became better human being as a result of being exposed to all of the bad things. But I am isolated case, not everyone goes through these things, I did, and to me it was more than enough to wanting to Auf Wiedersehen. Unfortunaly Germany prefers to keep people who did not come to the country to add something, crazy as it seems, they would allow more people who rape, do not respect their culture and commit other crimes, instead of really welcoming people who came here to have a better life. Germany is currently too focused on other countries problems and failed on attending the needs of their citizens and the citizens who came to live here, including europeans, as myself. I truly believe that Germany is a beautiful country, München is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen, and has astonishing landscapes and vibrant nature. But...

In the 1970s and 1980s, many who fled to Europe were doing so for genuine political reasons. They were escaping oppressive regimes, whether Islamic or dictatorial, often because their beliefs as non-Muslims, socialists, or leftists put them in danger.\n\nHowever, since the 2000s, the motivations for migration have shifted. Today, many people from the region come to Europe not primarily in search of safety or to embrace a European way of life, but rather to take advantage of the social benefits that European countries offer. Unfortunately, many of these individuals support the same Islamic regimes or ideologies that people fled from in the past.\n\nIntegration into European society is often challenging, particularly when there is little incentive to learn the local language or culture. For some, the focus is on increasing family size to maximize the financial benefits provided by the state. This explains why it's common to see families with six to nine children in these communities. The goal for many is not to seek safety or assimilate into European society, but to live comfortably on the benefits available in countries like Germany and Sweden.\n\nTo address this issue, I believe Europe needs to reconsider its approach to handling migration. One potential solution could be to build safe cities in North Africa, where people can find refuge and work without necessarily relocating to Europe. This would provide a secure environment and opportunities for those in need, without overburdening European countries. The focus should be on creating conditions where people migrate for genuine safety and the chance to contribute to society, rather than primarily for the financial benefits.\n\nIf people are allowed to choose where they want to live, they will naturally demand the best possible conditions and benefits. However, if authorities take the lead in deciding where migrants should be relocated, it would likely reduce the risks associated with illegal immigration. By guiding people to safe and sustainable locations rather than letting them dictate their destination, we could decrease the incentives for dangerous and unauthorized migration routes. This approach would help manage resources more effectively and ensure that migration serves both the needs of those seeking refuge and the capacity of host countries.

This should not be right because why are we not OK? I understand different parts of the world has things I’m born Canadian as far as my family and millennia and Canada were third generation here in Canada with Caribbean European and American descent all that being said I don’t care how people comes to Canada ?? but we should get the best of the best and I feel like Since they have a job since I work with the airline, why can’t they just apply for a transfer? Why can’t they why everybody else has to have a passport to travel? Why can’t they? Why can’t they have a passport? Why should they be or have a passport stuff like that I’m just saying, why would they abandon your job and you can transfer your job or get you know I don’t know I’m just to me. sigh.... what do u expect EU to do for you? EU has housing millions of migrants now, they dont want anymore. Most migrants and refugees all wanan go to germany, france, uk... They had enough also. Meanwhile, eastern border countries dont wanna accept these people also, because they know the western european countries wont want them either. Nobody wants to accept these migrants. It's sad, but also understandable. Dont blame the migrants who want to seek better lives for themselves, we all do. Blame the world and their leaders for f**king up these countries and now their people have to leave their home countries..

Arab countries don't give them n other arab people asylum, i don't understand why Europeans are so hellbent on giving them.. ?..

My understanding is that people are being played upon again, in-fact the real threat is de-dollorization, about which nobody talks much. As noticed recently through the news, manufacturing is returning back to West from China which obviously will demand skilled labour. Dollar loosing it's value (due to de-dollarization) and once immigrants starts leaving Canada, this will add on to the trouble exponentially, leaving Canada unattractive....When I say, skilled labour, then I mean the real working guys, not the cozy European immigrants. These are my understandings...Lets see how it goes, I am eager to see.

Basically the Muslim nations themselves aren't getting involved or providing refugee to Palestinians and you see Europeans and Americans doing everything possible to protest and disrupt their daily lives for Palestinians. Anyone with common sense would understand who the fools are here.

European immigrants learned the customs and language of Canada, the current ones disrespect the country by singing the Canadian anthem in Punjabi. As an Argentinian, I perfectly understand the rejection that some people have towards immigration from countries so foreign to the local culture.
