The violent crime has been skyrocketing. Guns are becoming more common. Sexual Assaults are increasing.. It's a lot of third-world violence and ideals being brought here.

All I have to say is that Ive only been to Canada once and it was on a trip to Niagra Falls. That being said, I was completely disgusted with how much garbage was all over one of the most beautiful water falls Ive ever seen and the only people I actually saw throwing garbage on the ground while I was there were Indians. At least a dozen seperate times in the 3 days I was there, I saw only Indians throwing their trash on the ground. Im not sh1tting on Indian people because 99% of the ones Ive met in the US were way more polite and hard working than half the Americans Ive ever met, Im just pointing out my genuine observations🤷‍♂️

Hate to say it, but bike guy is right. I work in a (genuinely) diverse area and African men are by far the worst customers. Incredibly condescending, interrupt me constantly, and if they have a wife/girlfriend with them, they're constantly berating her. I've found Indians are cheap but generally polite, the biggest problem is that there's just too damn many of them and they don't assimilate, so you become a stranger in your own hometown when they move in. I remember looking for a place to get takeout around my boyfriend's house and it was literally 90% Indian food, 10% pizza with butter chicken and tandoori toppings.

The funniest thing I’ve noticed with some Indian immigrants is that they genuinely believe they don’t have an accent when speaking English. In fact, they often think the way they say the words is how English is supposed to sound.

Yes, Indians came to Canada. Yes, they live mostly in Brampton. So what? The focus should be on whether a person is a good citizen or not. If an Indian is being an a** sure call him out, but do exactly the same for any other race or community. There are many hard working, law abiding Indians in Brampton. Why do I say this? Because here in India I personally know many people from Punjab and Haryana who go there. In both states, you can easily find many agents who reassure people that they can send them to Canada or the USA without much difficulty. You can also see the trend among Punjabis—many aspire to drive trucks and cars in Canada. In India, people often see Punjabis as if their only purpose in life is to go to Canada. I love Punjabi people, but I don’t like this mindset. 5. So, the people you see doing disgusting things are most likely illegal immigrants. Why? Because genuine people go there to educate themselves and contribute something meaningful to the culture—not to behave like those individuals. 6. I really hope Canada can recover from this. I have a friend who went there in 2015, and he once told me to visit the country. Canadians are truly amazing, and the natural beauty (except the winter!) is so nice. Please, Canadian government, take some steps for the well-being of your people.❤

Forgive me for what I'm about to say, but after two years of living here, I've come to a personal observation about Canadian politeness. It's not always as it's described. They'll say sorry, but it doesn't always seem genuine. They'll avoid conflict, but this can lead to a noticeable discordance between their words and actions.

People coming from some of the states in India such as Haryana, Gujrat, Punjab should be banned or scrutinized from traveling abroad, their only purpose to travel is to put refugee in other country and stay in other country illegally. There are many people who don't have proper documentation and also have fake documents, these people affects other genuine people who want to travel. Also the young people who just studied their intermediate or 12th class should also be banned from travel from the above mentioned states to travel abroad for studies. Moreover, People from these states don't know their manners in other country and don't know how to live or stay as per the culture of other country and fail to follow the basic manners and rules. I hate to say it but this is the truth.

My parents were both born in the states and my older brother was born there but they moved up here when he was a baby. So nearly all my extended family lives down there and I’m a duelly. And my experiences discussing things with my cousins or visiting absolutely could be described as culture shock at times. The insane things that came out of my own cousins mouths when they hear our friends or partners of various cultures , our not understanding how big a deal and incredibly insulting apparently it is to have assumed someone American was lgbt lol the list goes on. Like I don’t think our most intolerant Pockets can hold a flame to even ur closet to middle a bit intolerant places and contexts in America. What a crime\n Here I am talking about fully qualified and experienced, as well as fluent English Speakers, actually better English skills than both of you here presenting this program. What a scam, first they say that English fluency is essential has introduced different Examination to assess the English fluency standard.. it is a big scam...while Canada has favoured immigrants from certain parts of the globe. It is height of cheek of Canadian Authorities to offer lower wages , lower than the minimum wage stipulated by the labour laws, also as you emphasise here, high living standard's, High paying jobs, high Health standards. In that case why did the Federal Governments of Canada created a delusion to migrants from around the globe stating that there is an acute labour shortage in certain high demanding job categories, encouraging all such applicants to apply through the Skilled labour Program introduced by the Federal Government of Canada,. as if there are shiploads of opportunities available just for geabs.\nSuch individuals are driven to state of utter despair or forced to get back to their home countries whereas here the federal Government of Canada is granting Asylum to all sorts of unskilled , uneducated and sometimes no literacy nor basic communication skills in English at all at the expense of the taxes and high tuition fees acquired from the student population as well as PR Holders who has incurred massive expenditure through the federal Government's detailed and tough assessment procedures just to gain entry under the stipulated visa categories. Hi… I totally agree with just about everything you stated in all aspects of the Indian community. I’m a Canadian who happens to be living in Brampton for the past 12 years. I’ve watched Brampton go from a beautiful community to a dark dreaded place to live , and this is truly because of Indian behaviours. Mind you I have many genuinely good intelligent respectful Indian friends, but there’s the others that thinks they owe the city, province, and country. They don’t respect no one, and I mean no one. NOT EVEN THEIR OWN KIND (Indians/ Punjab). And yes as a Canadian citizen whenever I see something I do call them out on it. However; the moment you say something to them they assume that you’re cursing at them and what was ment to be a respectful comment becomes a situation where they want to argue and even get into a physical fight. Then there’s the bad, careless driving on the streets with no regards to the next person’s life. They drive like their car is the only one on the street yet always looking for someone to race with not to mention the illegal U-TURN creating major accidents. I personally experienced this when a Tractor Trailer Driver tried making a U-TURN on the city street with only 4 lanes for both direction at 4AM in the morning. This caused me to almost ran under the trailer body which would have been the end of my life. 100% agree to Mr. Ozan, they are particularly mean and harsh when it comes to talking to non-europeans in English. Mr. Ozan made a good question that how do Germans talk to Italians and Frenchs? English or something not German. I am new and I am willing to learn alongside my full-time course and part time job. It's not like the government has made any conditions while granting the visa. I have met many genuine Germans who don't know english but they are kind enough to express what they want to say, but employees in some stores are so rude and deliberately say Nein when asked for help in english. I can't help but think that the phrase 'a country of immigrants' is just a sneaky way of saying 'a country of colonialism'. I dont know that much accountability or reconciliation has happened in Canada over the last 300 years. It began with governments and corporations doing whatever they wanted and could do to make money and extract resources off of this land (regardless of whom it affected), and continues to be just that. The increase of immigrants is largely, as far as I know, being used to a) bring in more revenue and economic stimulus (which is more and more ending up in the hands of a few very wealthy families) and b) fuel the labour force of large corporations that would rather soak the profits up themselves, hire low-wage PR or temporary foreign worker labour, than pay Canadian residents properly to work those jobs. I love immigrants, have many 1st gen immigrants friends, and think they do bring a lot to Canada. We all do, as we were all immigrants at some point. At the same time, the immigration system is very complicit in looking at immigration as a resource in aiding those rich families/ corporations in colonialism, and you could argue that this overreliance is abuse of the immigration system. Certainly, we have seen this with colleges. This feels especially true over the last several years with huge jumps in immigration numbers with growing inequality for long term residents. So the result is a very quickly changing world that is not helping many Canadians feel more secure about their future, which is a recipe for unrest. Am I wrong? Genuinely I am looking to have an open discussion here!

We also need to crack down on the aggressive sales practices of immigration consultants in developing nations like India. Let's not forget the big culprits behind this: the admissions officers of the colleges, who fully endorse these practices to meet their revenue targets by any means possible, all under the watchful eyes of the government and IRCC.\n\nI've witnessed this firsthand. I openly challenge those consultants and Canadian college admission officers to be upfront with prospective and future students and tell them in person, before accepting their applications, that a study permit does not guarantee permanent residency in Canada. Explain the rules behind that and see what happens next—people will stop coming to Canada altogether. Consultants and colleges need to be honest with their prospective students and not just include those important facts in a fine print under a bunch of paperwork. \n\nAnd my god, the programs most colleges sell—useless diplomas that are of no use in their home countries either. Being an Indian living in India I can tell you one thing that mostly people who are not 'good enough' in anything pay lumsum amount of money to move to Canada. For instance, most of the students going to Canada for study, lack foundational knowledge that should've been taught to them at school. Take a GRE-like exam by randomly selecting Indians residing in this area and u will understand what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, the current Canadian govt knows this and capitalise on this problem as they have turned the education system of Canada into a money-vending machine. Furthermore, no skill development opportunities and lack of jobs intensify these problems as these individuals are never exposed in a multicultural urban setting. That is why likeminded individuals aggregate and live in silos. Lastly, for my Indian brothers and sisters, I would like to say that yall should try to assimilate with the culture rather than live in silos. That doesn't necessarily mean yall should abandon ur religion and culture, but try to participate more in various activities associated with Canadian culture. Like Im a Hindu, but I participate in Eid & Christmas as well in India.. We should be open to new experiences, especially when moving to a foreign country, one should be able to adapt.. just like one adapts to the weather, one should also embrace the culture.. Try talking to people who are 'non-Indians', have a genuine conversation, find out the history of the place and various other key milestones in the region.. mostly engage in amicable social behaviour. Holding grudge & closing doors to new interactions would not solve anything, neither for Canadians nor for immigrants.. Live and let live.. Cheers!

I was genuinely thinking of moving to Canada, but I'm glad I didn't. Instead, I moved north in the UK to escape the high prices around London for rent. I'm Canadian too, born and raised, and I have to say this is accurate. Shit health care, insane taxes, low pay, impossible cost of living.... I live in a rural town now (used to live in a city!!) and even here it's becoming unbearable. Genuinely thinking of changing countries in the next 5 years once I get my act together.\n\nThe video also didn't address the political problem. Only 3 serious parties (the rest are niche and don't address Canada properly as a whole), and two of them partnered so you effectively have two parties. I am an immigrant from South Africa here in Edmonton since June of 2023. What the brother is saying is true. Canadians make no room for the human element in the workplace/environment. Everything is based on productivity at the expense of your humanity. They also treat workers as very expendable and disposable. The fact that they import so many foreign workers to do certain jobs is perhaps a reason why born Canadians no longer want to put up with the exploitation (I don't know if this is the true reason though).\n\nCanada is very convenient, and public services and infrastructure are amazing compared with South Africa. But the rest of the culture is very sterile. Tim Hortons, Starbucks, and Ice Hockey are considered cultural identities. Maybe the older generations had a distinctive culture, but most Canadians of today's are only interested in consumerism and the car lifestyle. If you are looking for people with warmth and depth, you will most likely find it with fellow immigrants (and maybe the poor and marginalized communities of Canada).\n\nCanada is a very safe country, and South Africa may not be worth it for me to return to. But the strongest element I thought for coming to Canada was that people here appreciated life and each other. This is not true. Canada is 'stable and happy' because the people are intoxicated by the comfort that material wealth provides the individual (despite all their complaints and problems, most Canadians still lead very comfortable and easy lives). Take away their comfort and materialism, and they won't know who they are. They won't know how to stand together either since they have been so strongly conditioned to live for themselves as individuals.\n\nCanadians are known for their politeness and friendliness, and this is true. But there is a big difference between politeness and kindness (and being genuine). Canadians are not kind.\n\nMy opinion is obviously limited and biased. I am sure there are wonderful and pleasant exceptions. But I will still limit these as exceptions. \n\nThink hard before choosing Canada (and perhaps also the USA). Unless you have a strong community to support you here, it will be a lonely and alienating experience.

As a Venezuelan who migrated and still travels in the proper ways I can surely say many there want true help. Venezuela is insane compared to what you people even live whit, best work you can get there will make you up to 90-120 bucks a month, no food in supermarkets, some insanely expensive which will make you choose between buy bread or tuna and rice for a whole month ( imagine not being able to eat your favorite meats or prefered food FOR MONTHS, EVEN SOME YEARS) , if you are a professional or educated of course the opportunity grows up but not in a socialist country. as we know you can be a socialist in a capitalist system but not the opposite and this is a fact. Those people are genuinely scared with no home back in their country as for many houses and private properties have been removed with force, some of you sure will be wondering how or why not to follow the main curse to migrate? I had to spend 3 days sleeping on a huge queue with many other people also sleeping in the streets to get our passport(that's was the easy part, 4 years to get the date to finally get that fucker passport.), something so simply done in other countries which such ease, not to mention the whole cost for a passport (I knew people who paid aroundn 700usd to get it asap). \n\nPlease don't pitty these people nor hate on any inmigrants, some families there really wish for a future, and again as someone who had the opportunity to do my papers. Something about me is I'm HORRIBLE at starting conversation, call it introvert or socially awkward, it makes it hard to interact. I've met a lot of people from all over the world who come to Canada for a better life. Most are good genuine people, they work hard have children build a life for themselves and become useful citizens and contribute to the community they join. every once in a while I hear someone make claims like they deserve preparations because Canadians act racist towards them. Hearing this I have to ask how have they been wronged? Who was keeping them down being racist towards them.
