I don’t understand like you bring it 4 million of them in four years. This is too much you change the whole system in Canada and most of them are getting free healthcare freeform free apartments look the Canadian total debt increased by like $300 billion in a couple years because of those people I’m not against Indian. I have Indian friends but this kind of Indian people like you go there like you’re built like 50 call what the hell is wrong with you like you have to understand that’s a Christian country or they believe in God in one car they don’t believe in paganism and 20k kids. Still 4 million people is not normal to move in 4 years Is not fair Even im albanian u bring 4 million albanian in cannada i dont agree with it Is like increasing popullation 15 percent in 3-5 years Indian people drive bad than the cannadian people pay high insurance rates So you called me in Canada and you use free houses free renting free stuff and taking the other people money it’s not good that’s why you need to make your government India to develop your country better and not to attack the Muslim and be racist against the Muslims and the Indian Muslims Here we go with pagan gods looks ugly statue, bro the God is the creator of everything there’s no human gods stop leaving in fairytale paganism

If they like their indian culture and traditions so much, why do they move? Why don't they stay where they are originally from? I also live in a town that is becoming increasingly indian and they don't adapt... at all. To nothing. They may take up some cool western traditions like Halloween but they'll never give up not bathing, cooking on the garage floors, walking barefoot on public places, disrespecting women and belittling the lower casts. Go back if you like that so much, why move?

We can't solve the problems in other countries, or the world, by simply opening our borders to all. A large percentage of refugee claimants are fleeing economic poverty, not political persecution. Its unfortunate that Trudeaus promises/actions have compounded our problems and are costing us a great deal in deportation management, but the alternative would be much worse. Lets change the system for the better, and develop ways to increase our birthrates internally.

The problem is not the immigrants. The problem is with Canadian leaders, and the Canadians who elected and reelected them to office. I lived in Nova Scotia for just over 2 decades. I attempted to have many discussions about these issues and was shocked by the generally vapid responses I'd get. Much more to say, but the main point is that Canadians have destroyed their own country's quality of life and from what I can see, Canada is not worthy of respect as a nation. I take ZERO pleasure in saying this. However, the country should have provided the United States with a up close example of what a well run social democratic nation looks like. Instead, Canada is a joke to the far right and in fact fuels the far right in the US. Now with the global south amassing on the US's northern border (visit Halifax, NS if you have any questions about this), I view Canada as a threat to the USA - which is a nation with more than enough problems. A note to immigrants reading this: I respect many of you individually, and I do not in the least mind having you in my community. You as an individual are not the problem per se. The problem is that policy makers are simply using migrants to increase Canada's population to 100M by end of century. Google "Canadian House of Commons Century Initiative" to see how Canadian lawmakers voted in support of this policy. Best, Patrick Moan goodhumanhabitat.org

Canadians have always been racist however recently with the anti-woke backlash, more and more have become comfortable about posting their racist beliefs online. This increased exponentially once Elon bought twitter and gave users free reign to post whatever they want. However, on a positive note, I have been able to filter out my racist friends much easier simply after seeing their facebook/X posts.

I'm no expert, but it's obvious that mass immigration is detrimental to any country. Years ago, Canada seemed like a dream country, but in the last few years, it looks like the homelessness, crime etc. has increased and the housing prices are insane. I have a Sikh friend who lived there for about 5 years but moved back to India due to the high cost of living and quality of life there going downhill. He has a much better, low stress life back home. I think there should be stricter measures to immigration. For example: Let doctors, nurses, engineers, lawyers in more easily, but those that are coming as students and going to work as cashiers, should be limited.

Canada is being ruled by a globalist criminal cartel. Arrest the traitors in Ottawa. Vancouver BC has truly become a hub of transnational organized crime and our government seems blithely unopposed at best, a criminal participant most likely. Seriously, its looking more and more like elements within the Canadian federal government are complicit in importing Fentanyl for money laundering and housing bubble purposes, and tangentially, our government therefor has chosen to make Canada part of a supply chain that involves cartels, Triads, the CCP, and kills a ungodly amount of Americans and Canadians. Literal organized crime money laundering and the government has been *encouraging* it since the 80s and its largely why our houses are now insane prices. I'm not being facetious when I argue that Vancouver is the frontlines for the modern Opium War the CCP is waging on The West. Look up Vancouvers Downtown Eastside. Our government is complicit with Cartels and the CCP in importing Fentanyl as it's used in the real estate money laundering business dubbed 'The Vancouver Model'. "The Vancouver Model mixes legal and illicit cash, such as that from fentanyl sales. The pooled money is then used to buy high-end real estate, funded by capital flight and casino high rollers. The real estate is then used as a sort of deposit, helping to feed the insatiable need for luxury real estate. The more fentanyl sold, the more luxury real estate is needed. It doesn’t matter how big it is, it just needs to be expensive. Diabolical, but genius. Maybe Canada should consider fentanyl deaths a market fundamental?" -Sam Cooper’s book, Wilful Blindness: How A Network of Narcos, Tycoons and CCP Agents Infiltrated The West. The federal government opposes efforts to secure our ports. We literally don't have law enforcement that checks incoming containers; anything and everything can flow through our ports unhindered. fentanyl, human trafficking, nobody knows. Deltaport has no port police, not even 1 / 100 containers are scanned. The Mayor of Delta BC has been demanding security at Deltaport for ages and it's not being done why? "A recent U.S. congressional report argues that the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) strategy relies less on overt military actions and more on covert tactics, including trafficking of fentanyl and leveraging money laundering, aimed at exploiting vulnerabilities across social, economic, and health domains. "Fentanyl precursors are manufactured in China and shipped to Mexico and Canada. For precursors that arrive in Mexico, Chinese transnational mafias work with Mexican cartels to smuggle and distribute fentanyl in the United States on behalf of the CCP," the report states. "The DEA confirmed Chinese transnational crime leaders hold government positions in the CCP and indicated that Chinese transnational crime organizations are dedicated to the CCP." "The public deserves to know about the CCP’s role in fentanyl production and how the Party is using fentanyl as a chemical weapon to kill Americans," the report adds. It recommends that Washington publicly "blame the CCP as much as the DEA and its partners currently blame the Sinaloa Cartel" for fentanyl trafficking and urges the government to "educate international allies about CCP chemical warfare" and encourage them to condemn Chinese transnational crime. According to congressional investigations, Beijing is actively incentivizing the export of fentanyl and methamphetamine worldwide. The report alleges that Chinese criminal organizations, including Triads led by individuals with official positions in the CCP, are working alongside Mexican cartels to generate profit to fund interference operations in America." -Sam Cooper The Bureau substack. Now we have a probable Epstein associate in power (Carney has multiple family members listed in Epsteins little black book). Our 'elected' leaders in Canada are so deep in the globalist billionaires pockets that he even the Liberal half of the "2" party system are okay with selling out Canada to transnational oil and gas globalist megacorps. PPs CPC and Carneys LPC both seem to have forgotten these are the same people / megacorps that poisoned us with Leaded gasoline; still poison us with hexane, and all sorts of pollution they are allowed to store in the air we breath. Why should the taxpayer pay for their infrastructure? Yet you can't NOT vote for oil and gas. Green gets a good amount of the popular vote but never any power because Canada rigs every election with FPtP. Its how the "2" party system maintains control forever. Trudeau was elected with a promise to end fossil fuel tax subsidies but they're over $20+ Billion Canadian taxdollars now (before the $80billion negative externalities), and he obviously broke that promise, probably because the oil and gas industry and their cronies wouldn't let him. Why does an anti-oil and gas politician flip so hard? Money, Blackmail maybe. Epstein - we won't know because our governments don't seem to care to actually investigate it, for legitimate witch hunt reasons perhaps, but there is evidence suggesting that Israeli intelligence is/was running a blackmail operation on powerful people throughout NATO (check out Daryl Coopers MartyrMade podcast on Epstein). we need to force much, much more transparency in government. Its the same throughout NATO. Here in Canada Trudeau was just the 'fall guy' for the various corporate industrial complexes that own our politicians through lobbyists. The oil and gas industrial complex (remember when Trudeau promised to end fossil fuel tax subsidies and instead tax subsidies to this private, for-profit industry with titanic negative externalities, only increased to over $20,000,000,000 (billions of dollars in a nationstate of millions)), the cable industrial complex, the mining, fishing, forestry, and other resource extraction industrial complexes, the military industrial complex (not just in Canada, but all of NATOs military industrial complex has too strong of an influence over our politics). These are all owned by a relatively small group of billionaires. We, the people, are all getting poorer while the rich get richer; our civilization in "The West" is sick, and the corrupt actions of many arms of our corporate industrial complexes and their Oligarch owners are not a symptom, but the foundation of the sickness. Our political parties are owned by them, our prisons, our food industries are the same people that used to own Cigarette companies, its incestuous how small this group is becoming. They'll put Lead in the gasoline AND milk next time we stop forcing these profit driven asshole corporations to act ethically. Some billionaires are cool. Some industries NEED regulation. We want industry, but we ship logs unprocessed out of the province all the time, we WANT forestry corporations that nurture a forest that 7 generations down the road can still be harvesting, instead we get clearcuts and insane levels of topsoil erosion. Old Growth 99.99% gone and still going. Vast swaths of land are now Pine monocrops where 'forests' once were. Why do we think our forests burn every summer now? dead monocrops, like the potato famine but with pine beetles. profit driven megacorporations are fucking Canada and convince us all to vote them in each election cycle because everyone is 'strategically' voting their favourite half of these same industries back into power generation after generation. These transnational corporations only care about money, and they use 'us vs them' narratives like 'identity politics' to divide us into 2 political parties, which they own both of, and market these two 'options' as the only alternative to each other, thereby staying in power forever. PP - a globalist tool of transnational Oil and Gas megacorporations Carney - a globalist tool of transnational Banking megacorporations. 2 sides of the same global coin. Canada was cooked regardless of who won. Welcome to the New Canada - Cartelanada? with a 2 party system where both sides are owned by the same people (globalist billionaires, not any ethnicities that may come to mind) through untraceable chains of 'lobbyists' and shell companies. They will strip Canada of all resources as fast as possible, they will strip our bank accounts of all value as fast as possible, and they'll continue to flood our country with more than 1.2 MILLION immigrants a year while not building homes. The Cons would not have fixed this, because they are the other side of the same coin. Imigration can be done ethically, where it doesn't supress wages and crank up home prices, alas, Canada doesn't seem to care about the current generations being able to afford homes or kids, and chooses to literally replace our families with immigrants. To emphasize, the traitors in Ottawa are to blame for this, not people seeking a better life who are being trapped in the same dystopian poverty drug addled nightmare as countless people born here, in what *should* be one of the wealthiest nationstates to ever grace the Spaceship Earth. The system is both broken and stolen; only small party votes were votes for Canada - voting for either the Cons or Libs was just voting in the same transnational globalist corporations as always. we've all been brainwashed by the biggest propaganda game in politics - 'strategic' voting. Thanks for coming to my -hyperautist- ted talk

Here's the root of most of the problems, its gov. policy, you take in a million new people a year, give them everything and your dollar ends up losing value, so even though your working hard, you cannot get ahead in this country. So you end up going into a debt that you can't pay off and the problems increase. Taxes go up value of the dollar keeps going down, so in the end its a no win situation for most of the general population and its the same when you retire, you get an income that's not enough even to pay for rent in the city you were brought up in. This is a very serious problem and gov. does not seem to do anything about it, food banks are overwhelmed along with medical staff, food prices and rents have gone out of sight as far as prices are concerned. We have a national debt that never gets paid and a gov. that spends more money than it takes in in taxes. And a dollar thats going to H in a handbasket. Too much crime, too much violence, too many traffic jams and too much drug use. I have written to this liberal gov. and told them how to fix these problems but they don't listen, their agenda is with the WEF, you will have nothing and you will be happy, right, no. Canada is now a bankrupt country and going to a third world status, I guess you get what you vote for and I did not vote for this gov. to ruin the country. Hey note that this is just the start, its going to get a whole lot worse down the road as we all suffer another great depression, then things really get bad.

I am supportive of immigration, but I believe there should be a cap of no more than 1-2.5% annually. A significant number of migrants moving to Canada from the same region or country could cause issues, as this can lead to the formation of "mini-bubble" societies within Canada. These groups may sometimes become the dominant demographic and undermine the existing communities that have contributed to building Canada for decades. We cannot expect new immigrants to seamlessly merge into Canadian society. This is a major oversight by Canada’s Immigration Department. Digital applications from foreign nations may play a role in this phenomenon. There should also be regulations concerning how many new immigrants can be brought in by family members. For instance, one new citizen can legally bring both of their parents and their spouse, which is fair. However, there have been cases where this process is repeated multiple times within ten years, leading to a 1:15 ratio, where one person can bring in six to eight relatives. If there is a labor shortage in essential fields, Canada can offer long-term residency to those who continue to work in those sectors, such as caretakers. However, the pathway to citizenship could be lengthened or require a higher standard. For instance, the requirements could extend from X years of living in Canada to X+5 years, as well as passing a basic Canadian citizenship test, either written or verbal. While an increase of five years may seem unfair or lengthy, it is essential. A newborn child from a Canadian family requires 18 years to gain voting rights in elections, whereas new immigrants—especially those who come for study for four to six years—can potentially gain both citizenship and voting rights sooner if they meet the previous administration's standard. Children under the age of 18 can gain citizenship in as little as X-4 years, regardless of their full integration into Canadian society. This loophole is sometimes abused and provides preferential treatment that favors this process over existing Canadian. In my opinion, it would be fairer to calculate the duration of "living in Canada" based on the number of years they have paid "income taxes" in Canada. This is important because many individuals with multiple passports pay taxes elsewhere while benefiting from Canadian healthcare and other services. The investment in home buying as a pathway to citizenship has contributed to the housing crisis, resulting in numerous empty homes in various regions. While it may offer short-term economic benefits that some politicians favor, it is detrimental to Canada as a whole. If buying a house is the only requirement for citizenship, wouldn't a large portion of the global population be eligible for U.S. citizenship just by investing in U.S. businesses or stocks? This perspective may seem illogical when looking at it from outside the box. Apologies for being a bit wordy; I had much more to say. Nonetheless, I also support temporary residency for up to 6-9 months for those who have been evacuated due to war, natural disasters, or similar circumstances. Special exceptions can be granted for families with members working in critical fields that merit such considerations (high-end industry).

People complimenting this guy:\n\nCost of Living & Housing Crisis: Housing affordability has worsened, with home prices and rent skyrocketing.\nInflation & Debt: Canada's inflation rate has been a major issue, and national debt has significantly increased. \nHow much you say: \n\nHousing Affordability\n\nHome Prices: The average house price in Canada increased from approximately CAD 466,000 in 2015 to around CAD 723,600 in December 2024, marking a rise of about 55%. \n\nRent Prices: The rental price index rose from 100 in 2015 to 124.9 in Q4 2023, indicating a 24.9% increase over this period. ??? you people are idiots. He speaks so well ???

Thanks for making it clear what you did right but not making it clear on what the US administration wanted from you that you said no to that caused the tariff implementation. It's possible you miss 50% of your illegal border crossings into the u.s. since so much of your border isn't secured. The 1900% increase in illegal crossing in the past few years doesn't look very good. It's dumb to assume you did everything right and then the u.s. just randomly decided they'd continue with the tariffs for fun. Be more honest and say where you put your foot down so the American public can better understand what is going on.

Most of the world have had enough of Tramp, there is a lot of people around the world who will refuse to purchase American goods from now on and the diplomatic fallout will last for a couple of terms. Tramp will probably move to put tariffs on goods from the EU and their retaliatory tariffs will result in a 25% increase in the price of everyday products that the American public purchase. If tariffs are imposed on the EU that will mean at least 70% of American goods will have tariffs on them. Tramps next book will be, how to crash an economy within two months of taking office, so much for the art of the deal! This is a really pointless interneine trade war and the collaborator in chief getting cosy with Russia is another example of Tramps deranged priorities.

What's it about? It's about money. It's about a gangster family in the Whitehouse, and oligarchs in the administration, all trying to make as much money as possible. There's no other explanation possible. That's the only explanation that comes close to making any sense. Now more than ever, even if these tariffs are short-lived, Canada needs to move away from U.S. trade. This is necessary for the long term survival and prosperity of Canada. We need to make every effort to increase trade with the pacific rim, Europe and South America. There may be some short-term pain, but it has to happen. Given the events of the last few years in the U.S., Canadians have to realize that things can get even worse, and will likely never be the same. There is very little reason to believe that the ties Canada has had with the U.S. will ever be what they were, or indeed any reason to believe that that is even desirable now.

The difference in comments between CNN viewers & ACTUAL news outlets is incredible. All of the TDS patients gather here because they know CNN will tell them what they want to hear. You’re all deluded & you don’t even know it. Incredible. Have prices increased? Can you provide evidence to show these price increases? Maybe you people should move to a different country. If you like Canada so much they got plenty of space. Trump is the president. Get over it. You people are genuinely pathetic

Chrism Oil and the Fertile Field Hypothesis: Rediscovering an Ancient Healing Science\n\nFor millennia, healers have understood what modern medicine is only beginning to fully acknowledge—disease does not strike at random. It takes root in a body primed for illness, an environment where chronic inflammation, toxic burden, and metabolic dysfunction create fertile ground for pathogens and cellular abnormalities to thrive. This is the essence of the Fertile Field Hypothesis: illness does not simply attack; it finds conditions favorable for growth.\n\nIf disease thrives in a compromised system, then true healing must begin not just by eliminating symptoms, but by restoring the terrain—reducing inflammation, clearing toxins, and rebalancing physiological function. Ancient medicine sought to do precisely this, often through herbal formulations, fasting, and counterirritants designed to stimulate the body’s natural healing mechanisms.\n\nOne of the most remarkable historical formulations that aligns with this concept is Chrism oil, a sacred anointing oil described in Exodus 30:22-33. Though typically viewed through a religious lens, its composition suggests a powerful counterirritant, capable of inducing localized inflammation to trigger systemic healing responses. Modern research into counterirritants, phytochemicals, and immune modulation suggests that this ancient remedy may have functioned as a sophisticated bioactive therapy.\n\nCounterirritants: The Forgotten Science of Healing Through Irritation\n\nCounterirritants do not work by numbing pain or merely masking symptoms. Instead, they induce a controlled inflammatory response, redirecting the body’s focus to healing. This mechanism is seen in modern compounds like menthol, capsaicin, and camphor, which activate transient receptor potential (TRP) channels to modulate pain, inflammation, and circulation.\n\nExodus 30:22-33 – Recipe for Chrism Oil\n\n\t•\tOlive oil: 4 ml\n\t•\tCannabis sativa extract: 4 g\nEssential Oils:\n\t•\tCassia: 8 g\n\t•\tMyrrh: 8 g\n\t•\tCinnamon: 4 g\n\n\nChrism oil’s ingredients strongly suggest it functioned similarly:\n\t•\tOlive oil – A carrier oil rich in anti-inflammatory polyphenols, promoting skin absorption and immune regulation.\n\t•\tCannabis sativa extract – Contains cannabinoids (CBD, THC), which modulate nociception, inflammation, and immune homeostasis through the endocannabinoid system (ECS).\n\t•\tMyrrh – A powerful antimicrobial and wound-healing resin, known for its ability to stimulate immune function.\n\t•\tCinnamon and Cassia – Rich in cinnamaldehyde, a circulatory stimulant that enhances metabolic function and detoxification.\n\nBy applying Chrism oil to the skin, ancient healers may have been leveraging counterirritation to stimulate deeper healing processes, much like modern medical applications of capsaicin for neuropathic pain or mustard plasters for respiratory conditions.\n\n\nThe Fertile Field Hypothesis and Restoring Biological Balance\n\nIf chronic disease arises from an imbalanced internal environment, then reversing illness requires correcting that imbalance. Integrative medicine increasingly recognizes the need to:\n\t•\tReduce systemic inflammation – Through dietary polyphenols, fasting, and targeted herbal interventions.\n\t•\tEnhance detoxification – Supporting liver function, lymphatic drainage, and mitochondrial health.\n\t•\tModulate stress responses – Using mind-body therapies to lower cortisol, which is directly linked to immune suppression and chronic inflammation.\n\nChrism oil, when viewed as more than just a religious anointing oil, represents an ancient approach that aligns with modern scientific insights into counterirritants, phytotherapy, and immune modulation. This calls for renewed exploration of topical bioactive therapies, particularly those that stimulate controlled inflammatory responses to induce systemic healing.\n\nFar from being a relic of the past, the science behind Chrism oil may provide a foundation for innovative treatments in chronic pain management, immune regulation, and regenerative medicine. The ancients understood what we are rediscovering today: true healing does not just eliminate disease—it restores the soil so that health can flourish once more.\n\nhttps://www.amazon.com/Complementary-Cancer-Therapy-Slawek-Wojtowicz/dp/B0CR8Q2DBM/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=BnLvn&pd_rd_wg=hjUla&pd_rd_r=a698f3f1-9951-4a4c-8a52-3cdd2a3c8a72&content-id=amzn1.sym.ec5b70ad-0c46-403c-8d38-3db6570c8b46&ref_=aufs_ap_sc_mbl

I don't think most Americans realize how much the price of everyday items clothing, electronics, toiletries/cosmetics, food, housing, etc will increase because of these tariffs. If they think inflation was bad under Biden, they haven't seen anything yet.

I'm doing ongoing research to cease any spend on any US product or service. I'm buying software from Europe, using Posteo for email, deGoogling this year and vastly reducing Youtube. I trace all groceries to eliminate anything US sourced and I now check that products are Mexican and Canadian as much as I'm able and they are supplying. I've stopped planning trips to LA and NYC, I might resume if American voters ever have the good sense to vote en masse against obviously fascist plans and personalities. I've holidayed in Mexico three times and would visit Canada and Europe in future. US is not safe for everyone any longer, not even its citizens and looks to be getting increasingly insecure and offering prosperity only to the already mega rich through crooked policies and agencies. Every week or two I double check the facts on groceries and online products/services to make sure I'm not accidentally buying American. The election was so compromised in November I'm glad people are realising the only action we can take is with our wallets from not logging in to 'big tech' to buying bread and apples etc.

Trump is attempting to offset his tax cuts by implementing a tax that isn't called a tax. All of the money from the tariffs goes to the government. Trump has mentioned when tariffs were common as supporting what he is doing, but he doesn't add that at that time, there wasn't an income tax, so tariffs were how the government supported itself. Trump, knowing that tariffs are income for the government, is lying to his base so they will accept the increased prices as a necessary evil to battle the bad countries of Mexico and Canada. It will look like his tax breaks aren't hurting as much as they are and price increases will be the fault of the other countries.\n\nTrump is a conniving grifter with no knowledge of how to run a country's economy or international trade. He is gaslighting the American public to cover his own shortcomings.\n\nAlso, if fentanyl is entering the US, why is it the fault of the other countries? It is the job of the US to stop anything on its side of the border. Canada and Mexico do what they can to catch the drugs while inside their respective countries. The tons of cocaine and guns that enter Canada and Mexico from the US are caught by their border services; they don't blame the US for the products getting past their own border agents, and the US takes no responsibility for it making it across the border. Why is it other countries' fault for drugs getting past the US's border agents, but not the fault of the US that guns and drugs are going in the other direction? That is why countries work together, not fight over whose fault it is and try to punish each other.

Just curious, currently (before Trump's Tariffs) how much TARIFFS does Canada pay for American goods and how much TARRIFS does America pay for Canadian goods? If Trump is increasing TARIFFS more than Canada, then that's sad.

How much have you increased inspecting foreign cargo to check for illegal substances?\nThere are still migrants flying into Canada and walking across the border being picked up by the bus load transporting them to sanctuary cities like New York. What are you doing to prevent migrants use your country as a stopping point to walk into the US?\nYou need to do more. Look what Mexico has done.

Can Trump Become a Dictator Like Putin? \nTrump has authoritarian tendencies, but turning the U.S. into a full dictatorship like Putin’s Russia would be extremely difficult. Here’s why: \n1⃣ The U.S. Has Strong Institutional Barriers \nUnlike Russia, where Putin gradually dismantled democracy, the U.S. has checks and balances (Congress, courts, states, the military). \nTrump tried to challenge the system, but courts often ruled against him, showing that he doesn’t have full control. \nTo become a true dictator, he would need to take over the judicial system, military, and elections—none of which are fully in his hands. \n? Example: \nTrump lost multiple court cases on election fraud claims, proving he does not yet have absolute control. \n2⃣ He Lacks Full Control Over the Military & Law Enforcement \nPutin controls the Russian military and secret police, allowing him to silence opposition. \nIn the U.S., the military swears loyalty to the Constitution, not the president. \nTrump tried to use the military against protesters, but military leaders refused, signaling that they wouldn’t blindly follow him. \n? Example: \nOn Jan 6, 2021, Trump encouraged an attack on the Capitol, but the military did not intervene on his behalf. \n3⃣ American Democracy is Deeply Embedded in Culture \nUnlike Russia, where people are used to strongmen leaders, Americans are culturally resistant to dictatorship. \nU.S. citizens, journalists, and activists openly resist government overreach, making it harder for an authoritarian to rise. \nFree press and independent media make it difficult to spread unchecked propaganda the way Putin does in Russia. \n? Example: \nTrump was impeached twice, showing that Congress still holds power over the president. \n4⃣ Trump’s Path to Dictatorship Would Require More Control Over Elections \nPutin rigged elections, eliminated opponents, and rewrote laws to stay in power. \nTrump has tried to change voting laws and delegitimize elections, but the system still blocked him. \nIf Trump could fully control elections, he could remove opposition and rule indefinitely. \n? Example: \nHe’s trying to install loyalists in key election positions for 2024, but this does not guarantee full control. \n5⃣ Could He Still Try? Yes. Could He Succeed? Unlikely (For Now). \n✔ Trump has authoritarian instincts and wants more power. \n✔ He is trying to weaken institutions to increase control. \n✔ But the U.S. system makes dictatorship much harder than in Russia. \n✔ Unless he completely controls elections, the courts, and the military, he cannot rule like Putin.

Could Canada Win a Trade War?\n Trump has waged Economic War on Canada in order to bring us to our knees so that we will eventually capitulate to become the 51st state.\n\n Had he come in a nice way, as a friend verses a foe, he would have had a lot more interest, especially from Alberta. \n\n Now that we are here, the question has to be asked, can we actually win a trade war that has probably been extensively war-gamed by the U.S.?\n\n Our politicians want us to go toe to toe with a 900 lb gorilla. The U.S. economy is at least 10 times our size and are less dependent on our trade than we are. We may give them a black eye but they could rip our arms and legs off. \n\n Retaliatory tariffs play into their hands. It’s the perfect excuse to increase the tax to 50 or 100%. So will we do the same? This would devastate us, achieving their goals.\n\n Canadians are already fighting back without the government making things worse. People are boycotting U.S. goods en masse and cancelling travel plans, etc. and this is already having a strong effect.\n\n Some say turn off the electricity and oil, but who will pay price? It will be the businesses and employees, not the politicians who are now trying to act tough. If we want this to turn into a real kinetic war, then turning off the taps may do it. \n\n We have seen countless times where politicians tell us what we want to hear, making us think they are heading is a certain direction, only to find they do the exact opposite. This proves you can not believe what career politicians say and have to go by what they do, or don’t do, instead. Yet now, they confidently declare that Canada will never become the 51st state. This should raise eyebrows. \n\n Almost all of the MPs and Premiers are unanimous in entering into a trade war we can not win. After tariffs go ballistic, our dollar drops to .35 cents, and we get utterly crushed, I can see them say, “in order to save what’s left of our economy and society we must reluctantly join the U.S. or face certain destruction”. \n\n Not only would the decades old goal of a North American Union be accomplished, but we would take a large step towards the video statement that the World Economic Forum - WEF posted on their website. “By 2030, you will own nothing and be happy”. \n\n The WEF is working with the UN to achieve their Agenda 2030 goals and is what Pierre Poilievre and the “Conservatives” signed Canada onto Sept. 27, 2015. This is what Trudeau has been implementing. Mark Carnie, Pierre, and Jagmeet Singh would finish off the job. Read the redistribution of wealth goal #10. Are you feeling poorer yet? Remember, one has to dig deeper to see through the document’s ultimate double speak written for public consumption. \n\n There is much more going on than meets the eye. Our best defence is to not play into their hands. A much better plan needs to be developed by minds who see the big picture for creative solutions, and it does not seem to be those in office now

Secondly Trudeau, why hadn't you done this before? Why hadn't you invested in all this imaging, drones etc to stop fentanyl immigration and the harmful things that you knowingly allowed to enter America? Secondly, why are the tariffs so disapproportionately unfair for the American goods if they can even get there at all. But yours are being sold for pretty much not much of an increase

Canadian government has made Canadians paralyzed for decades with high tax rates, made worst business decisions emptied citizens pockets to fill outsiders and their own. Instead of making Canadians rich you have made us poor. I don't disagree to standup for yourself but our foundation is the weakest. If you want to change something think of Canadians make things easier...STOP making admissions hard for professionals pay more wages where its needed and stop increasing minimum wages without improving the lifestyle of people. A 16 yr old making minimum wage and don't even know what to do with the money improve the quality of life. Make businesses boom by helping them with easier access to grants and business approvals. Help investors to grow and help middle class to become investors, make import export much easier. Better laws to protect investors...help those who are growing the economy not dinging them with more and more taxes. This tariff war is going to hurt us more than anyone else. Us poor Candians will have to pay for this hurt our children and our seniors. And that's exactly what Trump and Elon want. To the next Canadian PM - HELP CANADIANS! LET LIVE AND LET GROW...

Let me explain the trading relationship briefly that occurs between Canada and the US for context. \n \nCanada Has a LOT of natural resources, more than our domestic manufacturing base needs (Uranium fuel, Lumber/paper products, Steel and other metals, Fertilizer for farms...etc). Therefore we sell those raw materials to the states where they are manufactured into goods, which we then buy back. a LOT of American service companies like tech, media (And yes, even banks)...etc also operates in Canada as well. (For the auto sector the parts flip back and forth across the border like 8 times) \n \nThis relationship alone has the American economy see a large trade surplus with Canada, however there is another element to it: Energy. \n \nCanada is also home to a LARGE amount of really cheap renewable hydro power in the east, and a LOT of oil in the west, due to a lack of infrastructure we really can only sell that oil to the states and therefore it is done at a discount. America refines this cheap oil into gas and is a large part of the reason why American gas is so cheap. They use this energy to power the same factories mentioned above. (Oh and also the NE states import a lot of that clean hydro electricity for the same reasons) \n \nThe US Buys SO MUCH of that cheap energy from us to power your industrial base, that it swings the numbers on the trade balance into a small deficit for the USA. (41 billion out of a TRILLION dollars total trade, or about -4.1% of total trade so literally a pretty small deficit) It also swing back and forth every year so \n \nThen comes Trump. He wants Canada as a 51st state and own the entire continent, therefore he manufactures an excurse that our border is leaky and that migrants and fentanyl are flowing over. (In actual case migrants and the flow of Fent is about 1% the amount that's crossing at the Mexico border but he needs an excuse) \n \nHe therefore puts 25% tariffs on us. Those tariffs will hit Canada harder than the 2008 financial crisis just for scale. \n \nOh and also for the most part American Refineries literally cant process any other oil than ours or Venezuela's because its thicker so tariffs on our oil will also really increase the priced of energy in the states by a huge amount just for the LOLs. As we've seen during the post covid recovery, since gas is priced in to the supply chain at every step (Manufacturing, transportation...etc), any increase at the pump will snowball into higher costs for everything at the store, on top of the extra cost of the tariffs on consumers. (Since every step will need to add it into their markup.)

Canada spends only 27 billion dollars per year on their military budget because America spends 900 billion dollars on their military budget.. Canada saves so much money because America defends Canada with the American military.. Canada should compensate America for keeping them safe.. or increase their military budget so they do not need help from the US..

We all that only has loyalty to himself and Putin! So let’s all thank trump for the increase of our groceries, gas, clothing and so much more! Plus cutting programs that are paid through the American people’s taxes to GIVE A $5 TRILLION DOLLAR TAX CUT FOR THE WEALTHY AND CORPORATIONS! WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE MONEY!

Why does he continue to provoke the US president? He resigned and rather step down with dignity, he chooses cause as much damage before he leaves. Justin Trudeau bears full responsibility for the burdens Canadians now face. He imposed and continually increased the carbon tax, draining the pockets of hardworking citizens while offering little in return. He neglected Canada’s NATO commitments, failing to uphold our obligations on the world stage. His tenure has been marred by repeated ethical scandals, each one a testament to his disregard for integrity in leadership. \n\nNow, as the weight of his missteps comes full circle, he faces the consequences of his own policies. The economic strain he placed on his own people is now mirrored in the tariffs and pressures from the United States—a reckoning of his own making. And even in his resignation, rather than stepping aside with dignity, he continues to provoke President Trump with baseless rhetoric, further endangering Canada’s relationship with its greatest ally. \n\nTrudeau’s legacy will not be one of progress, but of division, economic hardship, and lost opportunities. And now, he reaps what he has sown.

Canada has many problems and disadvantages which will need to be determinedly addressed in the coming years. However, we have one key advantage over our friends to the south, and one I hope that over time this will increasingly bear fruit: we are not governed by a fascist-adjacent government. Our only political party with policies resembling the American Republicans is polling in the low single digits.\n\nSetting aside the question of whether American Republicans are 'fascist-adjacent', the truth is that much of the world perceives it as such. Our economy is so tied to the US that I would not wish them ill, or at least not very much. However, I think in the competition for talent American politics will be like a 'mark of Cane' on that country for a generation. My guess is that our - in comparison - boring politics will be a key advantage in the years to come.

Totally neglected to mention the significant rise in unauthorized crossings from the U.S. into Canada. You need to increase your border security as much as we do hypocrites.\n\nIn February 2025, Canadian authorities intercepted groups of migrants attempting to cross the border from the U.S. in hazardous winter conditions near Alberta and Manitoba.

Since large scale war is becoming increasingly likely in the next several years, purging the military now is CRAZY (whether it is due to politics, lack of support for Trump, transgender, vaccines, or whatever). If they are already trained & performing well, we should keep them.\n\nStalin made the same mistake before WW2, and it made the Soviet military much weaker in the early part of the war.\n\nBut if these people are forced to leave, i hope they all get the last laugh by getting contractor jobs for double or triple pay. ?

Indians are also responsible . Bad visa form filling. \nTraveling abroad to work on tourist visa. Escaping into illegal permanent stay into Europe . But yes, Indian passport should be the top 20 but it isn’t because our house isn’t in place. Basically we’re mostly good people but uncivilised , undisciplined , not all but many. Get India orderly first, clean, green, pollution free, corruption free… and if they still do the same it’s because we want to go there more then they wish to come here. Do something that makes them come here. Top quality cheap tourism, food quality, pollution free, reduce population, increase the female population , give equal rights to woman, judicial system in India sucks, court cases should be fast tracked, law should be simple direst and effective. So much for us to do, money is not the only thing that makes us get quality living. Only the rich get all this stuff…

The system is BROKEN. Tenants like this one are abusing the backlogs, landlords like this one want pitty when they are clearly MAKING INCOME on these rentals but are NOT paying taxes on those earnings yet, everyone else has to pay taxes on what little they earn. PLUS, there are landlords such as mine that has decided to take away my basement after renting the WHOLE house so he can build another unit so he can make more money but all he's offered is to keep my rent at the same price, no increase. I have to put up with losing space, parking, dealing with deathly noise for who knows how long just so he can make more money????? He should have made a clear contract around this plan he had to add another unit when he rented it to me. Sadly, landlords have become very greedy, I don't know where they get so much money to buy multiple homes but most families in Canada today can't afford the outrageous downpayments being asked to own a home!!!! I don't necessarily feel sorry for landlords. NOW pay taxes on your income from these homes and you have more of a right to complain I say.

English people must do marriages and make 2-3 babies as they think Indians are overrunning the Canada. So I suggest to Canadians . Don’t make girlfriends . Make the girls as your wives and also don’t forget to make babies increase your quantity as much as you can ?

Is Montreal's housing cost up 40% because of scarcity, or could some/ more of it be because of financial companies and investment companies buying up a much real estate that they can and setting prices high for records profits? Need to research the increases to see where the burden is coming from, so we don't set blame where blame is not due.

I’m an international student, from my perspective it seems like the government can’t keep themselves from messing with the economy, basically crippling it by regulations, making the market unable to take advantage of the increased labor supply.\n\nI have spent almost half a million in Canada, which includes tuition, living cost, and starting a business which now employs two Canadians. But because I spent one term as a part time student, I have became ineligible for PGWP, which means I have no way of staying in Canada through my own agencies.\n\nThat is a slap in the face for immigrants whove come here to settle, the fact that I have positively contributed to the Canadian economy than many Canadians ever have, while withdrawing absolutely zero from public benefits, now if I buy a house here yall will drop on me a 50%+ capital gains tax and then kick me out, why would anyone want to invest in Canada? I’m seriously considering just moving to Florida because of all these. \n\nWhat happened to the good old days when you can come here with nothing, integrate into the community, and then become Canadians? Almost none of the forefathers of Canadians had to contribute this much into the society first to become Canadians, they stayed because their peers wanted them to stay, and the market was free to adjust to the labor supply and housing demand without government interference.\n\nWhat I see is not an immigration problem, it’s a big government problem, Canadians have become addicted to the government making decisions for them. The government has its grip on every aspect of Canadian life, it has hindered the responsiveness of the economy so much, that it cant even pivot to take advantage of free capital (int’l students) and third world labor rates (temp foreign workers).

I do think it's worth pointing out that the cheap labour reduces incentives for companies to invest in increasing productivity. I think the high real estate costs might be a problem too - too much of Canada's available capital is going towards expanding housing supply and not enough on better technology - software, equipment, etc. I think part of the stagnant productivity has been due to lack of investment in technology, rather than laziness of workers. It's also worth pointing out that a lot of the workforce has been in government, which has been spending more and more money while not having much to show for it, so productivity in the government is another issue too. Bureaucracy and red tape can also be detrimental to productivity in both governments and the private sector. Maybe Canada needs more competitiveness (ex with telecommunications). Lack of training could be an other obstacle to productivity, or for example... not speaking English properly. Sometimes when I get customer service with an Indian, I have to make him repeat 5 times because of his extremely thick accent. He might not be lazy and trying his best, but still not very productive. \n\nWith slavery in the US, the South has been rather inefficient with their labour because slaves were relatively cheap (still had to feed and house them). With the end of slavery, came a big increase in worker productivity.\nhttps://www.nber.org/system/files/working_papers/w31758/w31758.pdf

Immigration MAY play a role in rising prices... In fact, it's negligible. Private Equity and Corps are using the excuse of 'immigration' to intentionally drive up prices. Why have prices increased generally. The Gov't printed too much money to keep the Corps/Bay St Happy and share prices up. They should have just rode it out like the rest of the World (aside from Western Countries, You see the exact same thing happening... Rising costs, mass immigration, etc. coincidence? ?) . So in fact, it's not that things got more expensive... our currency deflated. Aside from US and EU at least... majority of our immigrants aren't illegals, refugees, people seeking asylum, etc. They actually can bring value to the economy (some would disagree... ?, besides that). As long as the Gov't ends the TFW BS... we'll be fine. Maybe... Doesn't help when Can Officials are sharing the bed with Sikh business Tycoons... Jagmeet, Danielle, etc. That's a story for another time.

Okay I believe Canada's inflation is because of my country's inflation the US both of our countries have that trading system where most of the products Canada needs is in the US so if inflation is high then the products are more expensive and the only way Canada can afford them is by increasing their inflation making the civilians and immigrants lives much more difficult

This is one of the most delusional news channels I have ever seen, but the worst part is the facts that viewers believe what they say. Inflation occurs when the federal government places to much money in circulation. The Biden administration cut the key stone pipeline, subsequently increasing the cost of oil and gas, while negating the billions being brought in via oil exports. Gave a sizable portion of the stretegic oil reserve to non stretegic countries, increased Government spending on bad programs, sent several hundred billion to fund non stretegic foreign wars and hundreds of billions on housing, medical care and debit cards for illegal immigrants, while doing nothing for Maui, North Carolina and Florida or the millions of homeless and diplaced Americans and American veteran.\nAs for this Mexico issue. The people have spoken. Border counties filled with legal immigrants but flooded with violent illegals voted for Donald Trump because they are living the nightmare created by Mexico and the Biden administration, that these media and political hacks theorize about. The Mexican government has failed its people by allowing the Cartels to fill their pockets with billions every year. \nMexico is also working with China to funnel Chinese goods through Mexico in an attempt to bypass tariffs and flood the American economy with cheap Chinese goods. Don't let this Mexican president fool you, they are afraid of Trump holding them accountable for facilitating this mass invasion on the border. She made this statement publicly as a shakedown tactic instead of talking directly to President Trump. Her actions should tell you all that you need to know about these political puppets. In conclusion, Tariffs are affective because these greedy American and Foreign corporations use cheap labor to make cheap goods that they then sell for major profit. Tariffs tend to make these companies movie to America create American Jobs and pay higher American salaries which are a significant savings over tariffs. The companies lose considerable profits but they gain market share because they understand that when you raise the price of goods you only make the American alternative more appealing.

Walmart, Columbia Sportswear, Black & Decker and Auto Zone have already stated that they WILL pass on any increased cost onto the customer...and that list was posted as that it will update as more companies say the same. So much for lower prices (which were never gonna happen anyway without massive regulations including directly combating price gouching and price regulating
