I wrote my citizenship test 20/20 today. While the questions in the actual test were not the same as this video, this video helped me to review and prepare with confidence. I read the discover Canada guide cover to cover thrice and went over this quiz twice. What really helped is that this quiz refers you to the exact line and the page of the handbook which helped a lot in preparation. Good luck everyone!

If some guy handed you an invitation to a party at his house, and there, after an hour, someone approaches saying , 'I hate to tell you, but you WERE'NT actually invited and your invitation is fake, and although the guy who invited you DOES HALF OWN the house, but it is HIS BROTHER hosting the party, and your friend, whenever his brother holds a party prints out fake invitations. And then after being told to just STAY PUT, after thinking that you would like to just leave, the guy who explained this comes over to tell you that since your friend IS half owner of the house, that you are ALLOWED TO STAY, but preferably if you could just walk a long narrow hallway in sit in the large roomy storage closet. Maybe then, you think it preferable to just leave, but IT MIGHT BE CONSTRUED that you are making A BIG FUSS about leaving, and this would be BEING RUDE to the people WHO TOOK QUITE A BIT OF TIME to help you sort out YOUR DILEMMA, and IF you DO leave, you might NOT EVER be invited back again, and if you AREN'T invited back, MAYBE someone who saw you AT THE PARTY: LIKES YOU, and will go around LOOKING FOR YOU, even to the points of looking through people's windows to find you, and WHAT IF this would happen at like 3am, and maybe you should JUST TRY TO enjoy your stay in the broom closet BECAUSE someone who DOES LIKE YOU would wait and be able to SPOT YOU and say 'hi' AS YOU EXIT the main entrance, if that is the only exit.

As a Canadian, i hate ppl saying like this actually indians are pretty good , they help lot of ppl.

I went to college with a roommate from Delhi. I visited in his home country and family and actually really enjoyed it. Yes, there is less cleanliness culture. Yes, there is less personal space. He actually ended up moving to Toronto last year. However with all the negatives you see on YouTube, it's always good to note that Indians are always friendly and helpful people. I'd rather have them than most other immigrant cultures

First of all, Tyler is a hardworking journalist and I respect that, however a lot of this video was wildly ignorant, from almost everyone involved, including from him. This is cheap views unfortunately. It paints a very bad perspective for all the genuinely hardworking citizens and residents of Indian origins, why not show that side of them too? There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. Your view of Punjab is just NOT the same as the one of the people in the video who view their motherland as a beautiful place. You can portray every place in the world in that light with the wrong perspective, be it New York, Paris, Barcelona, Cairo, Sydney, Rio, London, etc, but it must be nice to get a few more looks at the expense of demeaning others.

Damn bro I worked there for some time in a warehouse that needed my help. I actually wanted to transfer to Canada after that experience it wasn’t anything like this lol. Brampton wasn’t always the best area I guess by Canadian standards but it wasn’t closely the same as this 12 years ago.

Though I disagree with the immigration, the old guy in the Sikh temple is actually right about what he's preaching. Not to mention the Sikhs are known to be what Indians should be like. As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

8:30 I don't buy it. They say we "have" to increase population because Canada has an aging population? Why? What wpuld happen if we don't? Increased quality of life? More affordable cost of living? Workers actually being valued and needed instead of competing for not even enough jobs? Oooh, so scary. Whatever they thought would happen, I don't see how it could have been worse than what we have now. How is getting millions of Tim Hortons and Walmart workers helping the aging population? It doesn't. The explanations don't make sense. 9:25 bs!!! How could they possibly think this? Their position is that since there was a population explosion in the 40's, now every future generation has to explode their population as well, or else there will be too many old people? Come on. It's too ridiculous to take seriously. Now since the rate isn't the same as the 40's they decide let's just import from countries that are massively over populated.... and become more like them. Like... NO!!! This is not what I want from life or for our world.

Accountability should fall on the Government of Canada. They stopped screening properly. There used to be a point system that determined who could immigrate, and it actually worked. I’m of Pakistani descent, born and raised here, and when I’m in Brampton and walk into a Circle K, people start speaking to me in Hindi or Punjabi right away — it’s a trip. At the same time, I’m not saying everyone coming is bad. A lot of international students and new immigrants are hardworking people who want to build a better life. But plenty are also gaming the system. The real issue is that Canada messed up by letting in too many at once, with no structure to help them assimilate. When there’s no integration, no surprise people just act like they’re back home.

Im sick of these people coming into OUR country and straight up ignoring our laws!!!! They literally make the older kids like 6 years old watch and babysit the 2+ year old while they run the roads in the city by themselves all hours and when you see these people getting in their cars they DONT buckle their children in their seats. The immigrants who come here and disrespect everything need to go💯 i know some of them are actually coming here for help and a better life and they do try but the majority of these immigrants need to follow our laws or leave 💯

I'm a born and raised Canadian, as well as my husband. Even before our country was completely taken over, employment was hard to come by because of the fw's. 8 years ago, my husband had enough with trying to find a job, he stopped counting at over 450 resumes that were ignored, so he decided that we should start our own company, a small delivery company that 2 years later, we added a safe ride service to (driving drunk people home in their own vehicle). I was the manager of a little pizza place, which was run by immigrants, but good ones. I was hired because my husband approached them about doing deliveries, and they wanted to meet me. I had no idea I was going for an interview but they begged me to work for them, their reason; although they could speak English, they weren't fluent in it, so they wanted an English speaking employee who could easily understand the customer's. Within days, I was promoted to manager, and I loved my job and all of them. They treated everyone with such kindness and generosity. I found out just how much support they got from our government, when I broke down one day because I couldn't afford my prescription. My boss was so confused because he and his family got free prescriptions, dental, eye care, etc and they thought everyone got that. My boss paid for my prescription and actually apologized to me for how our own government treated us. He also showed me that they get $2,500 every 2 weeks, funding to start or buy businesses, but if they don't hire other fw's or immigrants, that funding changes to a grant and they have to pay it back. They are given money for housing, and vehicles. He was pushed out of that business by his 2 partners, and the partner's promised him I would keep my job. That was a complete lie. They stopped putting me on the schedule, claiming financial problems (bs), but hired not one but two new full time immigrant employees. I lost it and quit. Our town isn't that big, and word spread fast, especially when everyone found out that I was still owed over $2,000, which I will never see because no government agency will help me. Their business is actually struggling now and I love that for them. As for my husband and I's business, it's going strong but I came unglued when we recieved a letter from the government "suggesting" that we hire immigrants. I wrote back, telling them in no uncertain terms would that ever happen, and it will be a cold day in hell when one of us steps back so one of the government's favored people can take that money from us because we are the only 2 employees and we're not sacrificing a damn thing for someone who already gets everything.

As a multi-generational, born-and-raised Canadian citizen. Recently, I have been unemployed for 1 year and 2 months, which is the longest I have ever gone without a job in my entire life. My EI has run out, and during this stressful time, I have only had 4 actual interviews with real human beings. I am also a caregiver for both of my parents, and working remotely has been my profession for the last 7 years. Remote work allows me to both care for them and bring in a full-time income. Despite having 30 years of customer service experience, I find myself being overlooked. Many companies now use AI to prescreen resumes, so if your resume isn’t ATS-friendly, it often never gets seen by a human. Even if you make it past that stage, there are endless AI-driven assessments before you even have a chance to speak with someone. And when you finally do, it’s often yet another layer of screening rather than a real interview. I know I bring value — I consistently receive compliments from customers across cultures for speaking clearly, precisely, and making their experience enjoyable. Yet I find myself competing with younger candidates who can work longer hours, or new immigrants that companies often prioritize, sometimes with government incentives. At 55, I feel like I’m being overlooked despite my proven skills and professionalism. Right now, I live with my retired parents and should be caring for them. Instead, my father is helping me pay my bills so I don’t ruin the credit I worked so hard to build. If I don’t secure a job soon, I fear I’ll lose everything else I’ve managed to hold onto. The stress is overwhelming — I cry daily, and on top of everything, I also face health issues of my own, but I have no space to focus on them because survival takes priority. Canada today feels very different from the country I grew up in. Since the pandemic, things have become harder in every way — jobs, housing, and simply living. Even if I manage to secure work, rent alone now takes up nearly 75% of what I’d earn, not even including other basic bills. It’s disheartening to feel like no matter how hard I push, I can’t get ahead.

The only reason you can use the term Immigrant is because the govt issued visas. But that being said the govt fast tracked the usual immigrant process which takes months to years. So in actuality this is not legitimate immigrants. It's unlawful what the govt has done and therefore these people are immigrants under cover of law. Or color of law. It's defacto. I call them illegal migrants. Most are not doctors or engineers or trades people even. Most are young men from 19 to their 30's. But they had to pass through cartel territory. They had to pay the cartels a fee or die or be raped or both. Yes it's brutal some things but apparently before Obama left office he signed an international agreement to import people globally from mostly Islamic countries and create open borders. We see Chinese, and many people from different parts of South America and even Africa crossing to the US. A lot of whom end up in Canada. So before they cross into the US they toss their IDs Especially if they are from countries that are flagged by the US as questionable or terrorist possibilities. So this leads to a lot coming to Canada. I'm sure you heard of Roxham Rd crossing? It's officially closed but people still cross into Canada from the US going through there. There's also piles of IDs at that border crossing also. Anyways these open border policies has cut out in depth screening so we really don't know who is in Canada as true asylum seekers or immigrants. To add to this complexity, over 300,000 Canadian travel documents have been stolen from CBSA Canadian Border Services Agency. 280,000 of those were blank Canadian passports. SO we really don't know who's walking on Canadian soil. This was confirmed by Luc Sabourin a former CBSA agent. I just took the test. 19/20 This video was a great help! I watched it twice and read the guide four times. Plus taking lots of mock tests online. Honestly, I was over prepared! The questions in the actual test were quite easy!

Losing millions in immigration will actually help Canada after over-inflating immigration. It will better control the housing crisis, food crisis, healthcare crisis. Pausing immigration so the numbers correct itself will fix a lot of the issues Canadians face.

Canada responding puts Canada in a worse position. \n Canada not helping in the fight against fentanyl is obviously false, that being said the mass Immigration policy of Justen trued has made it easy for cartels' to smuggle in narcotics, not only that but the immigrants cause waves of crime, rippling from generation to generation. which hurts Canadians quite a bit. Immigration from the US to Canada would not hurt Canadians as much as from all the third world countries that they currently have their immigration system setup to accept. \nCanada's official statistics for narcotics coming in cannot be trusted. there is the fact that when someone is caught with narcotics they don't actually get to bring in those drugs. \nCanada's border is also entirely bypassed by plane so it doesn't matter how strong they make their borders.\nthe best response to the tariffs would be to remove all those god awful restrictions put in place on Canadian enterprise.

I give a thumbs up because i actually have pride in America for the second time in my life.... your country with its weak borders is how one of the three ways fentanyl gets in ...canada Mexico and Florida are the main ways fentanyl gets in so what stupid people do drugs im not crying over it and there are few that gets tricked to take that stuff and all that help getting fentanyl to people are murderers ... hell is real so in the end those that profit will have a bad eternity so im happy

Remember when this same fellow froze protesters bank accounts and began collecting peoples weapons? Yet, he has the gull to talk about dictators. Trump actually wants to avoid WWIII and I hope what his administration does will bring an end to the war. Though, I do agree he should be more tough on Putin. That being said, I do agree that the crossings from Canada are not nearly as significant as compared to our southern border. It would be nice to see more from Canada in their investments to secure the border and stop crossings, cartel movements, and drug operations. The US has spent more than 409 billion since 2003 on such operations. Regardless, I feel for you Canadians and it sucks that it has come to this and I hope we keep strong relations in the future. Hopefully we can come to a fair deal soon. Mexico and China are the big players that do not do nearly enough to prevent these crimes. In fact, the Mexican government helps the cartels by not trying to stop them. China's lack of regulation on the ingredients to make fentanyl contribute to a large extent to this tragedy as well.

Maybe he should discuss the constant duty fees and border crossing fees for anything shipped from Canada to the USA that have been constantly rising for years; fees that his very own government sets. Maybe he should talk about Canada demanding that anyone that sells anything foodwise to anyone in Canada from the USA has to have a special Safe Food For Canadians Food License or the goods being shipped will be rejected at the US owners cost, seized by the border and held in storage at the US owners cost, and destroyed and billed to the US owner. A license that no one actually needs considering other legal and ethical controls are in place to prevent unsafe foods from crossing the border, but Canada reserves the right to make us pay for one or we suffer consequences. Maybe he should discuss how they left their borders open to migrants, making it much easier for criminal migrants to get into the US. Maybe he should understand that the US has always been bleeding money to Canada on a trade level for about half a century with it getting much worse in the last decade because Canada's government are greedy. Before any of you come at me, keep in mind I work in the food ingredient industry as an order processing, logistics and customs & border crossing and have done so for 15 years. These tariffs were a long time coming and if any of you are on the inside of trade in the manner I am, then you know what I'm saying is true. The US is constantly paying additional tariffs by way of duty fees, customs fees, certain applied taxes (like there is literally a blueberry tax to ship US grown blueberries into Canada to prevent US blueberries from taking over the Canadian blueberry market). The blueberry tax is about 25cents per lb. which drives the price per lb. up for the seller and buyer. You wanna know why Food costs so much? All of the above with a huge side helping of GREED.
