So I reside in Ontario, I live in a city they call the armpit of Ontario. And everytime I come to this restaurant (I dont want to say what restaurant but if u ask id tell you) - I would see a lot of them coming in by groups and they wear clothes like they still live back to whatever country they are from and would sit on their chairs cross legged as other people eat their food. Every hour theres dozens of them coming and I came to think are these people even legally here. It is just crazy to me as a legal immigrant where me and my family waited for 8 years for the application process, spent hundreds of thousands of money meanwhile I see people that arent from here and not even try to assimilate to Canadian culture. It is just infuriating.

The port at Vancouver and the rail crossings dont count as border crossings?? Nobody searches seacans or rail cars. But hey, patrol that border..

How has everyone so quickly forgotten the reason for these tariffs. Canada has not stemed the flow of fentanyl. They contuine to poison their own people and ours. Wouldn't the fact that the city council, allocated that money AFTER the ice raids took place. As a Mexican who crosses the border every day, if the first act you commit in this country is breaking the law and breaking in with no permission, then you dont deserve to be here. it is what it is.

These are east Indians coming from the UK. They had US visas from the UK. What is Canada to do when they are in transit passengers from the UK and given fake or real but seems fake US visas. All international intransit passengers dont go through customs at their stop over country. Its an international fact. Seriously just the last 6 months an officer was shot and killed,a woman was run over at a cross walk, driver did not stop,two people were shot outside a restraunt in their car,in a mall parking lot ,and thats just stuff I've heard about , dont even get me started on the machine gun shootings nearer the border in a family area and I live in a small city in Vancouver B.C. so that rules out low crime

Canada has been sold from us Canadians by our greedy politicians and corporate interests. This idea that Canada just needs to build more homes is insane. There are millions of new immigrants, student visas, and illegal borders crossings every year. Most of Canada is desolate frozen tundra, rocky mountain, bog, dense forest, and the few spots where the weather is moderate everyone wants to live. People dont want more homes to be built because we can already barely drive anywhere due to traffic congestion, no one has doctors anymore, water restrictions start in early spring, no room for kids in schools. Everything is over crowded and over priced because theres way too many people here in a short amount of time and the infrastructure isnt close to being able to support it. The only ones benefitting from these out of control immigration practices are multi national corporate interests looking for a large cheap labour pool.
