oof, minisiter, sir, I dont want to be rude or crass, or seem like a know it all, you seem lovely. But you DID get one thing wrong that I have to point out...Our government isnt lying to us about ushering in a golden age for Americans...Theres a bit of fine print there, easy to miss, the government is actually bringing in a golden age for the .01% of Americans. \neasy mistake, no biggie.

Golden age for US… in pee and shit of silly Trump!

All we hear is how our government is saving so much money and now imposing higher tariffs, yet we’ll continue with the same tax deductions while struggling to keep up with the rising cost of everyday expenses. Meanwhile, politicians continue to tell us that this is America’s golden age?

This is great!!! Canada 20 vs US 80. Trump is not shakin even one little bit!! It’s a golden age for the US for sure!!! MAGA!! ??????????

Canada has known for decades that we have put too many eggs in one basket - selling our resources primarily to the USA. We've had tariffs before and worked with them. Yet we still keep selling to the USA. This time is different. In conjunction with the tariffs, we have an American administration that is flat out insulting Canada. Saying we wouldn't exist economically if it wasn't for the USA. It's at a time when the USA won't promise not to use military force to annex land (Greenland) from a decades old ally. A time when clearly Putin is calling in his chips for whatever he has over Donald Trump. Canadians have had enough. We are directing our governments, provincial and federal, to finally, finally break from the north-south trade links. We need to establish stronger east-west trade links. The resources we have are wanted by many countries if the USA does not want them. It does mean much work within Canada. We need to get our AB-BC pipeline finished as well as the new sea terminal so we can ship our crude oil and natural gas to Japan and if need be, to China. We finally need to get out pipeline to the Atlantic coast finished so we can supply the UK and EU with our products. We need to double our rail capacity for shipping potash, uranium, rare minerals to Asia or Europe. Just as Trump hopes for a golden age of American companies coming home and building new plants in the USA, this will be a golden decade for Canada to create transportation corridors to get our resources to other buyers. America will have to look elsewhere for his raw materials. And we all know what that is - RUSSIA. They've already offered their rare minerals and crude oil. This is all clearly a well thought out scenario from the people working behind Trump to dismiss America's allies and trading partners - have us turn against the USA - as the excuse to open the door to Russian imports into the USA.

But Trump promised you a golden era he didnt say for who....apparently for the working middle class- .its looking less shiny for you, ?? Things are going to cost more for all.of us, well- now in Canada our eggs are now cheaper as we have to shop by bus! The Bourbon is off the shelves, and I maybe need to make a new list for help from Santas elves; His billionaire pals, tho will be entering that new golden age, and chumming with Putin to try and appease any Russian rage ! The Donald has acted and now we all pay, the skies today in North America all grey.

Trumps golden age only applies to him and all the billionaires. The rest of us are here to do his will and paying higher prices and taxes.

Might be time to impeach trump already; before he suspends the God ordained Constitution; trump appears to be a liar and traitor: where is the golden age?; what the hell is maga?; need i go on about felony convictions; is everybody afraid of trump? God help us if he abandons Israel in lieu of more power and useless wealth.

It's not a golden age...it's a golden shower by Trump over The US and the world ?

Trump is a traitor to us Americans. The golden age is Trump final days.

all is mired in absurdity, mixed in lies, twisted ideas, false beliefs by all of us... terrorism may be a nuisance and may create an ongoing litany of alert/danger but terrorism is not a transformational problem. People who live with a third world mentality are no real threat to anyone and in the future, we will all have to reckon with the real oppressive  power in the world. The real danger is down the road, solid ideas no matter how absurd, will transform reason, living and lifestyle. Women and men who live in the still 'free' world will have meaner, implacable, unforgiving, murderous masters in the future. So, let us lament, complain, blame others and each other while we still can. The golden age will soon be over.

The 'Golden Age' of Islam was nothing more than battle after bloody battle as Islam swept across Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, massacring, raping, forcibly converting and enslaving. That Spain justifyably fought the invading Muslims and became the great country it is today gives us hope that Islam has a limited life, and like all oppressive dictatorship death cults, will one day breathe its last. There will be a great rejoicing and freedom for the world on that wonderful day.
