I am an indian, genuinely speaking, when I came here back in 2023, I didn’t know there are so many people from one of the indian state called punjab. They have ruined this place as well as image of all Indians. Also, If you want khalistan, why they are not protesting in where their land belongs(so called), why in Canada or Usa? There are 70% of the people are living in canada is punjabi. They have ruined the image of our whole country. We are peace loving people and follow rules but just because of these people, we fell into the same group. Fun fact: why brampton and surrey have bad reputation and increased crime rates because punjabi people live there. Thats heart wrenching. The other aspect is the Canadian government doing nothing to curb thia types of people instead of that these people do crime, get arrested, claim asylum, get free food for 1 year and become the resident of the Canada. I am really frustated and both the goverment and these khalistan entity. Go to hell man.

Canadian here, I love Indians, hard working people, respectful with a low crime rate, good food, good music, I love my Indian neighbours here in Canada, very peaceful and trustworthy and very educated.

I feel this video does cover what's happening but don't answer the question why its happening. Here's what i think- To start with - A major population of indian immigrants in Canada come from two provinces/states - Punjab and Gujarat. From Punjab - Most of the population who migrates to Canada are villagers. They are notoriously famous in Punjab cities as well for creating trouble. They have no civic sense, always getting involved in illegal stuff, some use drugs, no etiquettes, poor hygiene and very arrogant sometimes. Another thing, Canadian government over the years stopped taking in-person interviews and got lenient with rules for gaining a visa especially for students which doesn't make sense and one should be catious so of what kind of people they are letting in their country. This leads to letting in a bunch of wrong people who are already a troublemaker in Punjab and then represents a bad of side of Indians. A side note - Every Indian province is very very different and not all people are same in India. It's definitely a shit situation which shows Canadian government definitely needed a better way to handle immigration. A lot of international students has been exploited by the system as well if you get to know from there point of view as well. Seeing the thumbnail and title of this video shows what kind of a person Tyler is. Without a proper research and understanding, he just made a video to appease people who hates on Indians. Title says Invasion, is he for real? I see way more Chinese immigrants here in Canada than any other nationality. Punjabi Indians are to be blamed as for creating a bad picture for themselves but hating on whole country without knowing them feels prejudiced. I hope whoever is reading to really open their eyes and understands that this is a government failure for not having strict rules and regulations. Indians have been immigrating to Canada for more than 100 years but you see them as a problem now due to last 8 years of bad decisions. Last thing, you see more Indians in Tim Hortons and mock them, is that a bad thing on loving and supporting a Canadian brand? Definitely poor english speaking employees is a problem, but that is a management issue. You don't like it, have a word with the Manager if they don't act on it, then I guess they don't really care for your opinion. Its on you now whether you want your coffee or better english 😂

Just a small word here. Khalistan sikh are not Indian Sikh. They are people who are wanted for various crimes even in India. They have criminal records and India has been requesting Canadian government to deport some of these people to undergo trial in India but Trudeau govt under jagmeet Singh did not agree and so you have crimes happening in Canada but the bad name goes to India. The Canadians call Brampton , Bramledesh . I can't stand when I get sent there for work, I can't stand the smell of curry. I would love to have my country back to the way it used to be in the 80's. I got rear ended by an Indian woman while driving down the road, I'm not sure how she got her license ( I know how she got it... $$$). There is no laws in India for driving a car so they don't know how to drive.

Honestly, they are great people and I think they bring a lot of culture and family orientation back to Canada I feel like it’s roots. I mean, we are the first generation with cell phones so things aren’t gonna go well for the first generation so I hope to see change in the next, but I really hate the racism. Because at the end of the day, this world belongs to all of us. I’m married to a Punjab. And I’m very thankful I met him feel like a lot of Canadian men. As a legal immigrant who migrated here with a nuclear family only on merit, I believe I earn the privilege to voice my thoughts here. First of all, rather than blaming the hoards of Indian immigrants, why don't anyone ask questions to the people who allowed it? Why not ask the politicians who vetoed it? Why not ask the police who is not able to stop reckless drivers? Why not ask the minister's who allow hospitals to run under staffed? USA has a massive Indian diaspora. But they are mostly IT workers and CEOs and Doctors. So who was at mistake of bringing illiterate, uncouth Indians to Canada? After earning all the required merit, and paying as much taxes from my family that is equivalent to minimum wages of at least 4 people, it hurts me to see undeserving people taking benefits of the system, while we get the short end. No one seemed too concerned when Indian students brought in so much money and revived some dead economies. No one blamed thousands of Punjabi businesses bringing in dollars into the economy. India, with its 150 billion people has s#!to eaters and people who can buy out Canada. You only see the bad. Press the government to bring in good people. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists, business people, who will add value to the country and generate you jobs and salaries and grow this country. Not cooks and drivers only. Khalistan and Pro-BJP factions are both bad outside India. They all should go back and let the peace loving Indians and Canadians live here in peace. I love Punjabi people, they are high class and they surprise me when they tell me they were farmers before coming to canada because I don't get that rugged vibe from them. That guy at 2:50 was purhaps the most honest 'white' guy you will meet. The fact is Indians didn't take over, the upper class just decided to move north to Bolton or more west to the Halton area. Over time enough Indians replaced them to basically take over important roles like police officers and political positions. Eventually though it was the student visas that drove Canadians crazy. Millions of students in record time and I believe there was an additional 4 million who came on temporary work visas during covid, eventually Canadians got annoyed. Personally I don't see any problem with it as long as we keep building apartments and homes for the new immigrants to rent and live it doesn't bother me. I would like to see three times more immigration especially from Europe as this country is super underpopulated and we need people to open factories and build companies that will strengthen Canada as a whole and employ our own not just send money back to their countries. So its not an invasion we just need come to a place of understanding and learn to work together. I will finish with the one negative; there truly is a massive lack of assimilation and this may prove to be more of a problem than we realize but I won't go into it. I'm glad Tyler is more or less neutral in his findings. It's true, many Indian's have come to Canada and I'm sure many do wish for a better life. Canadians understand this, but the methods the government of Canada is doing to push the numbers too high and too quickly is what's surprising to many. It's the accountability of the government that should be under scrutiny. If immigration was moderate and consistent, the social issues would not be as rampant, but social media loves stir the pot. This is also happening while Canada's housing infrastructure is crumbling, healthcare is deteriorating and general cost of living in Canada has skyrocketed and priced many Canadians out of simple living and enjoyment. Reality will kick in very hard for these racist when they have to pay tution fee, because currently they'll are enjoying free eduction due to hefty fee paid by poor Indians in canada's colleges. Go to CRA and ask which community contributes financially through taxes. Go to CSIS and ask about involvement of Indian community involved in crimes. Go and check the streets of your metropolitans, which community is involved in selling and consuming drugs. love watching your videos, I am Canadian and live in the suburbs of Toronto. I was born in 1962. My first Indian experience came in a small high school 1976-1980 the school had a small Punjabi student population, the students for the most part were not hassled nor did they hassel back. My next and biggest Indian experience was a job from 1984-1991 I worked for an Indian family and got to see a portion of Toronto's Indian population. Culturally there were big differences however I enjoyed my experience working with them. My point being you say in your video 'sudden indian.' this is 2026 and I have been experiencing as have Canadians, the Punjabi culture for over 46 years so this is not a sudden or new occurance. And lastly as far as cultures from other countries go, having Hindu's or even Sihk's as neighbors is far better than other ethnic possibilities, so I do not have any issue with Punjabi Canadians! Anyhow continue your video just wanted to add my comment as I am living in Canada with Indians and want to express my opinion.

First of all, Tyler is a hardworking journalist and I respect that, however a lot of this video was wildly ignorant, from almost everyone involved, including from him. This is cheap views unfortunately. It paints a very bad perspective for all the genuinely hardworking citizens and residents of Indian origins, why not show that side of them too? There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. As a Canadian i just wanna say we love immigrants, ask any Canadian we love fillipinos more than other Canadians. East Indians are rude, dirty and hate our people. As much as I hate seeing how bad it’s become, I also love the fact you’re shedding light on it. As a Canadian myself it’s pretty weird that almost anywhere I go in my province, (Man) it’s like predominantly east Indian other than like reserves which is a rough subject in itself some/most cases.

Here is a aggressively neutral take as a Canadian elementary school teacher in an area with an extremely high Indian population (around half our school is ethnically Indian). It is also my own opinion, and some opinions on the internet suck: The good: Cultural integration IS possible (the Indian families are more into hockey than the white families where I live), tons of cross-cultural friendships, beautiful blend of cultural celebrations, top achievers are almost always second-generation immigrants, kids are growing up to love their parents' culture while also loving Canada's, many fantastic families who engage their children well and raise them very respectfully, religious temples that will feed an amazing meal to ANYBODY who walks into them (as long as you cover your hair), low rates of family trauma (drugs, abuse, divorce, etc.), families that take care of their elders The rough: Not all families are interested in being Canadian (some families just send their kids to Indian speaking private schools, live in Indian areas, and only seem to practice Indian ways of life - what's even the point?), many Indian families retreated into their home-lives during Covid which removed their children from integration opportunities, a very small percentage of the families are absolutely TERRIBLE at parenting and treat their sons and daughters with different levels of respect, multi-family households pay a single property tax which makes the contribution per taxpayer much smaller (while social benefits are equal to anybody else), some crime such as extortion and gang activity has been imported into the country, some individuals' disregard for rules and laws (setting fireworks on Diwali in the middle of a dry, grassy field is just plain stupid), some Indian communities seem to vote blindly for their own ilk during local elections without any regard for policy or experience, LMIA immigration program has been corrupted by the nepotism of bad actors and the greed of large corporations (wages can be federally subsidized which makes it cheaper to hire immigrants than the 16 year old down the street). Many of these families were simply making good choices for their own family, so don't blame the people themselves for this - blame the government that allowed it to fester unsustainably. I'll continue to stick up for the majority of these beautiful families though - haters be darned! Watching these kids grow up gives me some hope for humanity!

I have such mixed feelings watching this video and the following is just my opinion. I am an immigrant from India too and I love my country's values and culture but I also realize its drawbacks. When I came here, my immediate instinct was not to change everything to how it was back home...It was rather to learn the culture and values of Canada too (which I know is in and itself a mixture of multiple cultures). If you are reading this my fellow Indians, It is truly my most humble request to remember that you don't have have to quit your culture, but that does not mean that you make no effort or take part in involving yourself in other cultures or mock them. You have the chance to better a country that has offered YOU a better life. Please don't ruin things for other immigrants or Canadians. We are resilient, and we can choose the best of both worlds.

As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

Grew up in Brampton from age 5-10, half a decade of being a kid in such an open suburb area. Many neighbourhoods now we're farmlands and empty lots. The Indian population was just starting to boom, as I thought would all other ethnicities. Regardless of the changes of demographics, Brampton is still such a beautiful city, just taken over by overpopulation at a fast pace. We do not complain, but as a Country we should consider the rate of growth as a positive but also has many negatives. Finding jobs in Brampton is nearly impossible as a young adult - and also looking for new homes with landlords that aren't of Indian descent is becoming a rare occurrence. Changes can be made to benefit both Canadians and Indians as we are known for accepting all cultures, that is what I love about Canada. It is a sight to see when you witness the Indian culture in Brampton, lets not take that away!

Indian American here, who spent nearly every summer in Canada growing up (and writing from Canada right now). Not all Indians are created equal, just like any other country. Plus, many are poor and just like any other country, social class matters. Canada needs to be way more selective for some time. I love both cultures so it's important that Indian culture doesn't over-run Canadian culture.

Any person in Canada without the provincial insurance has to pay everything out of pocket. I just got my dads blood work done today and he is on a visitor visa. It costed me $750 dollars, and before that just a walk in visit costed me $$175 dollars. And about paying taxes, I garuntee you a single houshold of Indians pay more in Taxes than a whole street of these white shit heads. The amount of myths they have created around immigrants is astonishing. There is is a reason conservatives loves the poor and the uneducated. You can clearly see the stark difference between how a Canadian born and raised person is speaking about other and how an immigrant is speaking about others and distributing free food and serving the society. THe people who have never tried to help anyone will always be jealous of those who help and prosper. I am also an immigrant, I came here from Guyana (I am Indian) in 1986 when I was 13 years old, so I grew up here and me and my family adapted to the Canadian culture and love it. I've called this country my home for the last 40yrs and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We live by the rules and laws of this Country as all other immigrant SHOULD. I hated it just as much when new immigrants come and try to impose their culture and way of life on us then complain when they meet resistance. It's simple, if you are planning to go live in a foreign country and you don't like or think you can handle the culture, then you shouldn't move there.

They’d rather hire someone from somewhere else that has experience and then fails to follow through as the born and raised person given the opportunity would. The amount I’ve seen white people fight to work and work fighting to keep their job burning themselves out when they’re easily replaceable by someone for a fraction of the cost and needing 3 people in their place since most immigrants are extremely lazy, especially after getting the pr. I’ve watched so many eastern Indians start to work full time. Hardly do anything until they get their card then drop off the map of actual work being done only to move to Ontario. Meanwhile I apply to countless jobs and don’t get one call back in 2 years with experience. Don’t even get me started on housing..

They’re awful and need to go home. Can’t even call the bank without not understanding what they’re saying or eat take out food that doesn’t taste like Indian spices or walk down the street and only hear Indian music…my daughters class last year was only Indian and Arabic kids and the principal was Indian how are they gonna teach Canadian culture and education I’d ask what she did in school she said learned Indian dances. I’m 11 generations Canadian and they completely chaged our small home towns and neighbour hoods we have our own customs and cultures and it’s all gone now also there’s so much rape and assault charges or teachers molesting kids or men in girls bathroom and it’s Indian men!!! I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term. Because my ethnicity is Indian, I've become an object of collective resentment / hatred, and I don't think that's fair.. Please direct it at your vote, and govt level policies. Why should I (and other's like me) be crucified with the sins of other immigrants? It's like hating all your neighbors in a burning building, when the management has been lighting the fire.

Um so tired of going to a store all immigrants working. Make a phone call it's answered by an immigrant. You can't understand them . I love on ccpd I don't get old age pension yet. I'm too old to get the child tax credit and I'm on a Canada pension disability. I get 713.00 a min to live on. Period. That's it. 😢😢😢 I struggle every day. I live in a seniors housing complex..so my rent is adjusted to fit my income. Thank God for housing I'd be homeless if it wasn't for them. 😢😢 But the immigrants have money. Have jobs. Drive new cars. Get free rent for a year. I waited 9.5 hours at the emergency😢😢 not the Indians they have Indian drs that work there for them. How in the hell is this ok. I ended up leaving the emergency I couldn't wait any longer. I sat there in pain all that time and two Indian families came in during that time and within 20 min at the most they were in and out. They even have an advertisement in the emergency room in their language with all the Indian drs working there. Wtf is going on. I'm tired of seeing these people. They are opening businesses here. Everything you see now is written in English, French and Indian. They call it our third language now. There are building going up that have only immigrants in them. A d I live in a small town but the city. Come on. They stopped saying the Lord's prayer in schools. They can't say Merry Christmas. Christmas concerts are called Holliday concerts now. Our kids don't know the national a them they stopped that. They don't know the Lord's prayer they stopped that. The schools are changed to not make other nationalities feel bad. They get their Holliday's off and our Holliday's off..why? We don't get their off. Yeah I'm just a plain white person who lived in Canada all my life. 64 years. I've never seen this in my days. Never. Everything is destroyed. This feels like India 😢😢😢. We have to stop this. They need to leave. They are not here because of war or danger for their lives. They are here to take the jobs, take over our culture and country. Now we have to be careful what we say or were called racist. I'm white I lived in the hood all my life. With black people. I have alot of black friends even family but this is so damn reducilous. Who are they a d why are they here. Canada doesn't take care of us any more. Or help us people who need it. We are homeless in the streets you don't see Indians homeless, hell no. So Carney step up a x fix what Trudeau ruined. Please. This is not the country I'm used to it's India. Not Canada. I have friends from Ukraine. Now they are brought here because of the war. I get it. But they have their own immigration dr. I am a newly arriving immigrant Indian. Been a year now and I have a good job and I am really loving what Canada has to offer. I agree with the frustration - I find myself cringing at the videos of people violating public norms of decency, and the job market is really bad now for services as companies are employing a lot of migrants for a cheaper price. Immigration control, regulation of companies so they cant go below a %age of Canadian citizen/residents along with effective government stimuli to boost the economy by targetting certain industries will tackle a lot of the problems. As for people discarding garbage anywhere and other unwanted behavior - name and shame. These videos are also going public at least in India as a source of great shame and the more eyes on it, the less people will repeat things of this nature.

1. Almost 2.5 million Indians are currently living there. The total population is 41.6 million, so about 6% are Indians. The total number of Pakistanis is around 500K, and Bangladeshis about 100K. 2. Out of all these, an estimated 1.5 million people are either overstaying or have entered illegally. 3. Pakistanis and Bangladeshis are also involved in illegal activities (I’m not defending Indians—they are also involved, I’ll come to that). If you ask them, many will claim to be Indians. You can see the same trend in the UK as well. The reason I’m mentioning them is because they have a similar appearance to Indians. 4. Almost half of the Indians in Canada are living there illegally. Why do I say this? Because here in India I personally know many people from Punjab and Haryana who go there. In both states, you can easily find many agents who reassure people that they can send them to Canada or the USA without much difficulty. You can also see the trend among Punjabis—many aspire to drive trucks and cars in Canada. In India, people often see Punjabis as if their only purpose in life is to go to Canada. I love Punjabi people, but I don’t like this mindset. 5. So, the people you see doing disgusting things are most likely illegal immigrants. Why? Because genuine people go there to educate themselves and contribute something meaningful to the culture—not to behave like those individuals. 6. I really hope Canada can recover from this. I have a friend who went there in 2015, and he once told me to visit the country. Canadians are truly amazing, and the natural beauty (except the winter!) is so nice. Please, Canadian government, take some steps for the well-being of your people.❤
