The thing that never seems to be brought up is East Indians 80% own houses. I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. Um so tired of going to a store all immigrants working. Make a phone call it's answered by an immigrant. You can't understand them . I love on ccpd I don't get old age pension yet. I think all things are possible when you are young and healthy. As someone with an unexpected chronic disease that showed up in my 40s I'm on immunosuppressants that are very costly. Thank God the gov't here covers them. With treatments every 6 weeks I have no freedom to leave. While that's taken care of, access to a family doctor or emergency care is horrible. Waiting a month for a doctors appt or having to spend 10 hours in emergency is not okay in a developed country.\n As a citizen you have Canada as a safety net, so its no big deal if you move and don't like it. I'm not sure where is safe in the world right now. A lot of people moved to Equador, and then boom the violence got out of control. Just my thoughts on things.

Cherry on top are the income taxes. Cost of living is ridiculous expensive because not much is left in the bank after the government takes their part. I was able to build some wealth in Canada and left as soon I could. Being taxed 53% to live next to an injection site? Waiting MONTHS for healthcare? Not able to afford the expensive condos because the government took me half of my money? No thanks. \nLook at the US. Cost of living is still high these days but way more is left in your wallet.
