Prices have risen with no end in sight and yet immigration gets housing and money from the government, while seniors get a small pension young people with children are struggling. No, there is a reasonable and very widespread expectation that the amount of immigration be limited to the number of people who can be accommodated without overwhelming every single capacity the country has. 5:50 I agree, I'm thankful the government is starting to revoke / cancel visas to try to get a handle on things. This goes beyond just Indian people. It's for all people that immigrate to our country. I agree, I think if people come to my country, they need to assimilate. Learn our languages, understand our culture and integrate. I feel that they need to create another sector to follow up on visas, check in on people, monitor. I also feel the banks need to monitor the amount of money people are sending back home, I understand some money. But not everything.

The thing that never seems to be brought up is East Indians 80% own houses. They come here and they own houses and have businesses that they ONLY hire East Indians, have East Indian clientele ONLY because they all pay cash so they can circumvent the taxes. They all make babies like mice so give it 40 years and Canada will not be recognizable. And it’s the governments fault because they’re so greedy for tax money that they let the here by the boat load because they don’t wanna wait for the rest of us to make Canada larger population wise because it will take way too long. That and their tuition money for colleges, the list goes on in this non talked about bullshit that the liberals have done. They seriously do all this scheming and raising taxes just to give our tax money away to everyone but the people who pay the taxes. We could have put a huge dent in the national debt by now, but liberals just can’t conserve money hence their name. If it doesn’t stop soon, we are doomed. Surrey BC where I lived for 14 years, is just as bad as Brampton. They all own 1.6-2 million dollar houses in the suburbs of the city, all own businesses and all do the same shit as Brampton, circumvent the taxes. That’s the thanks we get for letting them here is to scam us so they can get rich quick while we all suffer and will never own a house by the looks of it. In Victoria BC where I live now, it’s gotten so bad that I can’t move out of my house I’ve been in for 4 years cuz I can’t find anything cheaper and this place is a 400sq ft 1 bedroom for $1850 a month. Can’t afford to do anything but survive while the immigrants all live like kings. There’s gotta be a line to not cross and that has been the case for too long where it’s been crossed for a long time and no one says or does anything about it out of fear of being called a racist. As a Canadian, whose parents immigrated from India. Thanks for this. There’s to many students, even my parents agree. They’ve tarnished the reputation of the hard working immigrants who came here with nothing and have built something for themselves.

As Canadians we must mobilize . our enemy has many faces, the 1st face of our enemy is known as democracy especially our democracy in Canada, if we remove the people in power we can then fight our 2nd enemy called law enforcement then those of us who are lucky to still be alive can then fight the 3rd face called immigration. A lot of Canadians who were born here feel the same way about this country turning into South Asia 2.0, but very few are vocal about it, and some are willfully blind to the consequences. This may be an immigrant country, but it's certainly not sustainable at the rate we're going....

As a non Indian Canadian born and raised I’m disgusted where my country has gone. Our population has doubled since 1980, not by birth rate, but because of the amount of Indians that have immigrated here. Unfortunately, they have no desire to assimilate, they bring their own culture and they stay in their own communities. The government offers tax breaks for businesses, hiring foreign workers over people born in Canada, leaving the youth without any part-time work. On top of that some of my favourite restaurants growing up, I haven’t eaten at in years because it’s been taken over by Indians, the quality of food goes down, you end up getting food poisoning and if you aren’t in their community, you get worse service and get charged more than what an Indian would pay at the same restaurant. They don’t understand cleanliness or sanitation, they leave their garbage and waste on the street and dump it in random locations, and quite frankly have no respect for anyone who lives here or the country that has taken them in. I feel like a minority of my own country and I truly don’t understand what being Canadian means anymore because I’m pretty sure being Canadian is a thing of the past. Most of my friends have moved further north, to Vancouver island or moved out to the prairies to get away from them and higher prices as everything gets more expensive, thanks to our government, caring more about immigrants than citizens. When a family gets accepted to come here they bring their parents their aunts and uncles their brothers and sisters on temporary visas, they also collect social assistance as soon as they arrive and when their visas expire, they have no desire to go back, which has resulted in thousands of illegals remaining here. I mean I get it. Why would you go back when you’re getting treated better here and are given food, housing and an allowance every month but it’s gotten to a point where India outnumbers Canadians. I want them all sent back.

As a Canadian, thank you for making this. I hope it’s clear to everyone how, while good people, the majority of interviewees in this video are taking advantage of our country because we’re “nice” and they aren’t able to sort things out in their own. The majority of these people aren’t highly educated and came in on student visas and you’ve got to wonder why our government allowed this. It’s made a lot of things worse for people who lived here already, including immigrants. No racism just frustration.

East Coast Canadian here. Thankfully the non existent provinces beyond eastern Quebec are thankful it's not as bad here. The majority of TimHorton's & Wendy's employees are flown into the Charlottetown airport, housed & trained on site & then spreadout across the country from there. The Government is paying the majority of their minimum wage and business owners pay pennies for them! They will also work more hours than others. Our own people are being ignored when they apply for jobs so that its not considered discrimination. They can easily claim the immigrants applied first.

Thank you for this report on Brampton. For context, I am a 4th generation Canadian, my ancestors immigrated here a few years prior to confederation in 1867. I have worked in the tool and die industry for decades and many of my associates work for or manage tool and die businesses in Brampton. Everyone in Brampton knows what is changing there. When I try to explain to my friends that what is happening in Brampton is not balanced, they do not understand, they think I am a racist. I told them that my Indian friends in Brampton feel the same way I do. They look at me like a deer in the headlights. Nothing has turned me against a politician so vehemently as Justin Trudeau's management of immigration. The man had no idea how to effectively manage immigration in a way which would integrate people into a culture and society such as Canada. That certainly is not creating a microcosm of one nation in a city.

Thank you for showcasing this city. Brampton has long been the armpit of Peel Region, and the cause of many of the rest of our issues. The new entitled migrants that come here spill out into other areas of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) spreading the crime and loitering, and essentially "taking over" certain places and causing massive issues. Our Car insurance rates in Peel are insanely high, primarily because of Brampton also being a part of Peel, and the high accident and theft rates coming out of that city. We have a massive issue here in Canada with unchecked mass immigration, and we don't see do be doing anything about removing the people who have overstayed their welcome, aswell as an issue with letting the new population move only to the same already developed places, overpopulating those areas that never had the infrastructure to support those numbers of people. Especially the households that are housing more families than just their own, the people who arent citizens that are clogging up our healthcare systems, all the jobs taken up by the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, the lack of openings in universities and colleges because of international students. Its unbelievable how much they take advantage of the system.

The old Dutch guy in the interview was right. When my father applied to bring us to Canada, we went through many tests and procedures, police checks from back home, and even from the FBI to prove we had never been to North America and the process lasted almost a year and a half. No money was given to our family, my dad was working our step mother was working; but now all these immigrants get in quick and free. I have a friend that works for a bank and he tells me people who can't even speak English or French show up and deposit government cheques for 30 or 40 thousand dollars. What about Canadians born and raised here, some need help, they don't get big cheques. There has to be a stop to all this influx of people coming from other countries who have it really easy once they're here, thanks to the government. I'm not anti-immigration, as I'm an immigrant myself, but this BS has to stop.
