I been a legal immigrants in a few countries (for work) and I would always adapt to the country im in. And I usually dont go to places that are from my native country. Im in the new country to experience that, if I want my native country things, I do it at home or go back to my country.

Any new immigrant or legal should be deported if they do anything using a beach for a washroom as soon as I wipe their ass make them clean it up and get him the hell out of the country the fish poaching killing wild animals for food cuz they can't afford to eat it buy it we don't need people in this country that are of no use and can't even speak the language that should be the first thing

Canada needs a clear hiring principle: priority should be given to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents first, and only when no qualified applicants exist should other categories be considered. LMIA approvals should be paused to prevent misuse and ensure fairness for those who have followed the legal pathway. Strengthening verification processes and enforcing employer accountability would help restore integrity and fairness in both the immigration and employment systems. Many of these immigrants have sacrificed their assets and life savings in their home countries, embraced Canada as their new motherland, and now find themselves suffering with no realistic path to return — making fairness and accountability in the system even more essential.

Only 18,000 deported out of 5 million illegals? That is a joke. Deportations cost money because the government is way too dumb. You don't need to chase the illegals on our dime instead a few bureaucratic steps will help line up the immigrants across Canada towards airports to flee and here we go: 1- Introduce a 3 months grace period for illegals to depart with their lute, no questions asked 2- Establish a Black-List-Database for all illegals and anyone who makes that list will never get permanent residence no matter how long they stay or even if they apply from abroad down the road 3- Introduce daily fines for overstaying or being here illegal with no ceiling including assets seizure to cover fines 4- Abolish automatic birth citizenship unless both parents are fully legal, else contact your embassy for birth certificate and fetch healthcare, school etc ..on your own dime 5- Revoke driver licenses, bank accounts, temporary SIN numbers of all illegals 6- Mandate the RCMP, Local Police, Sheriffs to check immigration status of anyone who comes in contact with law enforcement including traffic stops 7- Establish new Driver License and other documents for citizens and legal people with specific design and color etc.. 8- Introduce a toll-free number so citizens can report illegals and illegal activities 9- Impose hefty fines and jail time on employers who hire illegals including business closures 10- Limit running to office on all levels to Canadian born citizens 11- No illegal owns, buys or sells any real estate or property Do these and the longest line will be the line leading to airports so our friends CBSA can sit in the ri comfy offices processing illegals at their own pace.

I agree many things, but not agreeing to “ not paying tax”, “not working hard” & “just cross the border illegally”, most new Brampton residents pay high taxes as most work at jobs and payroll money comes after tax. Maybe minor fraction like (0.01%) might be working in cash not paying tax. It’s just their frustration speaking. Almost all Indian immigrants are not refugee that they come free to Canada and live in hotels for free. Indian immigrants are economic immigrants, who came here legally with investing big money and working in country and giving back. Most people in this video are confusing refugee with Indian immigrants. Indian immigrants don’t get any extra benefits than any other Canadians, even gets less or exploited by locals…

South @sians dont "integrate / assimilate because they know they dont have to ! They can find whatever community resources (financial, legal, medical, et al) without having to step outside the community. They have been able to "replicate" India in their Host country. I think what local Canadians may resent so much is the new Competition for whatever low - wage labour and community resources are left over post Pandemic. Also, if one listens closely (Euro) Canadians) resent the imposition of Old Country religious / group cultural practices have "overflowed" into the public Commons rather than kept private. The unspoken "demand" that Locals get use to these cultural differences / just suck it up causes some rancor.

It’s some of the new immigrants policies that are causing issues. At the end of the day I welcome all who come here legally and with good intentions.

As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? This will fracture Canada if everyone does that. Do you want this country to become so fractured & terrible that your descendants have to leave for a better country, like you did? Is that what your religion teaches you? Does it state it's perfectly fine to satisfy all your whims & wishes at the expense of others? I worked my entire career with the public, I very seldom encounter negative feedback when I do the above. If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! I also make a point in telling the wealthy ones "Tax Avoidance is legal (I'm more than happy to show them), but Tax Evasion is not! Then reminding them....Canada will be bankrupt eventually if everyone don't pay their fair share of taxes. ie. You may not suffer, but your children/grandchildren will. Worst Case scenario, you didn't get the necessary medical care when you most needed it!!! We should lobby for a mandatory course that all newcomers have to take & PASS a test about Canadian culture & expectations. If they fail, no citizenship for sure! There is a video on how a Canadian citizen should leave Canada and come back as a refugee new immigrant! You've got it wrong, super wealthy Western countries like Canada, the USA, UK, Scandinavian Nordic countries, Europe, and even Australia don't 'need' immigrants from 3rd/4th world countries. Super wealthy Western countries first priority is to its own native population and country first by investing in them. I am supportive of immigration, but I believe there should be a cap of no more than 1-2.5% annually. A significant number of migrants moving to Canada from the same region or country could cause issues, as this can lead to the formation of "mini-bubble" societies within Canada. These groups may sometimes become the dominant demographic and undermine the existing communities that have contributed to building Canada for decades. We cannot expect new immigrants to seamlessly merge into Canadian society. This is a major oversight by Canada’s Immigration Department. Digital applications from foreign nations may play a role in this phenomenon. There should also be regulations concerning how many new immigrants can be brought in by family members. For instance, one new citizen can legally bring both of their parents and their spouse, which is fair. However, there have been cases where this process is repeated multiple times within ten years, leading to a 1:15 ratio, where one person can bring in six to eight relatives. If there is a labor shortage in essential fields, Canada can offer long-term residency to those who continue to work in those sectors, such as caretakers. However, the pathway to citizenship could be lengthened or require a higher standard. For instance, the requirements could extend from X years of living in Canada to X+5 years, as well as passing a basic Canadian citizenship test, either written or verbal. While an increase of five years may seem unfair or lengthy, it is essential. A newborn child from a Canadian family requires 18 years to gain voting rights in elections, whereas new immigrants—especially those who come for study for four to six years—can potentially gain both citizenship and voting rights sooner if they meet the previous administration's standard. Children under the age of 18 can gain citizenship in as little as X-4 years, regardless of their full integration into Canadian society. If buying a house is the only requirement for citizenship, wouldn't a large portion of the global population be eligible for U.S. citizenship just by investing in U.S. businesses or stocks? This perspective may seem illogical when looking at it from outside the box. Apologies for being a bit wordy; I had much more to say. Nonetheless, I also support temporary residency for up to 6-9 months for those who have been evacuated due to war, natural disasters, or similar circumstances. Special exceptions can be granted for families with members working in critical fields that merit such considerations (high-end industry).

Here are some clarifications to note:\n\n\n1. In the last six years, 1.5 million international students brought a minimum of $67,500,000,000 direct cash into the Canadian economy. (Assuming a min $40-45000 per student for 2 year diploma, between to $100,000 - 150,000 for undergrad, and around $50,000 for Masters degrees). Usually, international students have to pay most of this money before applying for the study visa. \n\n\n2. These colleges employ Canadians for their day to day operations. From cleaning, maintainance, administration to teaching, each college operates with approx 20-30million budget. So, more students lead to more employment for Canadians who further pay taxes.\n\n\n3. All students start work straightaway, pay taxes, and do not qualify for social security. They do not qualify for any student loans by Canadian govt or banks. So, they generate revenue for Canada through their work and taxes. The thing that govt LOVES.\n\n\n4. These students become new consumers and their expenditure generate revenues for local businesses.\n\n\n5. Most Colleges would not survive without international students. Which is good in the sense that only quality colleges will survive and other hanky panky colleges would shut down. However, such closures will lead to job losses, bankruptcy when the colleges won't be able to afford their expenses.\n\n\nSo, considering these factors it will be an industry collapse. Govt needs to control immigration. They need to introduce intelligent policies. The steps that current govt is currently taking are politically motivated not rational.

I'll add some context to our government. Prime minister harper who was an economics major I believe started saying no to the aboriginal peoples stopped catering to them. During the election it was a collective that all natives would vote ndp and the liberals were second last only behind the green party. Getting closer to the election Trudeau promised if elected to legalize marijuana and fund more efforts towards missing indigenous women ( that's a whole other story in itself). Trudeau won a majority government. They won't admit it but alot of blue collar people voted for Trudeau because of the legalization of weed. Fast forward immigration grew and new immigrants were strategically placed in certain cities and areas to vote for the liberals. The next election Trudeau lost the popular vote but won based on Canada's version of the electoral college. This time around I don't think he can win I've heard very very few people in this country say they want him so in a year things may get better or the damage is done.

my family did the right thing with immigration years ago, we waited years to be legals, we followed the law of the land and assimilate with the citizens. how come the new immigrants can't do this and on top of that they received more benefits than the tax paying citizens.\ninsanity.

The only thing tru-duh and his backers ushered in, was millions of economic migrants and TFW's that took entry level jobs and the migrants caused a permanent unaffordable housing crisis. Why? over 1 million migrant/year, and around 200k housing starts (allegedly). Most of the new housing stock built in Canada is garbage wood-frame, gyproc and plywood shit that is NOT geared towards the 'low' end of the market. The vast majority of new homes, are built for the upper end of an already price inflated market. The fact is, the price of housing has completely decoupled from peoples wages. This is a deliberate result of regime policy and its ponzi-scheme like legal, immigration advocates, and real estate sectors.\nBottom line? I am from Canada and dont want to be here anymore, I cant afford it. There is little relief to be had in the small cities and towns in Canada. Those are often remote, cold, have major....major crime and homeless problems themselves, AND a LOT of these ex-urban centers are shockingly expensive as well, despite the fact few of them are places you would want to actually move to. Small city, town canada, is by and large, are cultural, economic and infrastructure dead zones with high crime, terrible public services, miserable weather and few amenities. The decline in quality of life in canada under the tru-duh regime in the last 10 years is shocking. Thanks to the archaic electoral system in canada+the NDP, tru-duh keeps getting reelected to power, despite few people actually voting for the globalist turd.

I suggest and advise Mr Trudeau to strictly enforce New Federal Policy by deploying inspectors visiting several factories where supervisors/team leaders hiring illegal workers (from students) and blocking jobs for legal immigrants and citizens of Canada.

Deportation is a traumatic experience for anyone, imagine u left Ur home country, sold every assets. You settle in a new country learning the culture & laws. Getting acquainted with the climate. Taking into consideration that over time while abroad (be it Canada) things may have changed from the way u left in your home country. Imagine staying in Canada legally n some times immigration process could take a long time, say u stay for abt 4 or 5 years waiting. And boom ? u get news u have to go back. Maybe u started a family. Now how do u start ?it easy to seat n say deport deport , wait until it's you or your friend. Deportation isn't bad but certain considerations should be examined . I come from a mix-status family, my dad’s undocumented but has been in the US for 22 years, my mom’s a US citizen, they both own a business + two homes. The immigrants that are coming into the US do not want to work and want nothing but hand outs. Why do we have people who have been here for decades, have assimilated into society are unable to legalize due to outdated immigration laws yet we have so many coming across our border who want handouts. Look at Colorado and New York for example.

It's actually mind boggling. I'm Canadian. I have friends and family in the U.S. I would get questioned a lot when coming to visit New York, NJ, etc. I have seen people denied access to boarding buses. What has happened in the past 2 years? The U.S. and Canadian government must absolutely work together and come up with active solutions to solve this problem. If people want to immigrate. Its best that it's done through the proper legal channels.

You forgot to add that LEGAL immigrants are upset at this blatant disregard for their own interests as new citizens to this country. We expect the immigrants to be vetted like we were. We also desire a safe proporous country and not have it degraded by political games being played.

A big part of the problem is immigration policies that allowed too many unskilled immigrants who had no or little ability to support themselves. Most legal immigrants before had sponsors who were financially responsible for the immigrant for ten years or the immigrant had skills or means to support themselves while also contributing to their new society rather than always taking and worse complaining about it
