I don't understand this people problem. That is not their own land. They stole from native Americans people. Now they have problem for other people coming there. Like saying we can do whatever we want but others can't.

What is Canadian culture anyway? I moved to Canada (from Italy) in 2008, got my citizenship in 2021, and I am still trying to understand what Canadian culture is. 😮 Is it like American? Please explain. Thank you.

I don't understand what makes them think they can come to a White country, on Christian land, seriously. Their food? Why would you eat that witchcraft food anyway. Unless it's coming from a Christian, one that actually follows Jesus Christ you shouldn't be eating it. American Indians confirm Vikings were there the same time they were, but the fact is, Vikings travelled everywhere they just didn't settle everywhere and they actually came long before the American Indians saw them, as in Vikings were actually in America first. What is it with brown people, seriously. You know why they have low iq? It really and seriously is about who you worship, you worship Jesus Christ he naturally has you eat certain foods that you are missing the vitamins and minerals which if you don't have enough of will lower your iq level. Seriously, satan doesn't care about making you smart clearly he wants every nigger raping and pillaging because it's not about making you well, it's about making you sick and everyone around you. Indians are known to be disgusting and unhygenic, they are majority a muslim and hindu nation, they will shit on their beaches it is part of their culture, utterly almost all disgusting people.

As a Southeast Asian, I can understand why countries like the United States, Canada, or those in Europe are concerned about immigration levels. Wanting to prevent any single immigrant group from becoming disproportionately large is not necessarily about racism, but about maintaining social balance and protecting opportunities for the local population. Many Asian countries feel the same way—we would not want large numbers of foreigners, whether Russian, American, or from elsewhere, to migrate in such a way that they dominate job markets or significantly alter the local social structure. This perspective applies universally, not just in Western countries. From this viewpoint, it seems reasonable for countries to manage immigration by maintaining a balance between native citizens and immigrants. Setting limits or proportions for different immigrant groups can be seen as a way to preserve social stability while still allowing controlled and fair immigration.

I'd honestly prefer Indians over Middle Easterners. Hindus and Sikhs aren't proselytizers and generally have a much more mellow religious vibe, unlike Muslims. Plus, Indian food is the shit, I dig curry and samosas. The thing you really have to be careful of, as is the situation with any instance of mass migration, is to be aware if newcomers are taking advantage of Western social assistance programs, like the Somalis have done with the welfare system. They need to understand that to be welcomed as new Americans, they have to work. Indians have proven to be industrious through hotels and convenience shops. I'd prefer them to Middle Easterners or certain cultures of Africans. That all being said, they should also come to understand that, having moved to a modern country, there's very little point in having massive families with ten kids. No need to endlessly spawn more people to help with chores like water fetching when you have indoor plumbing. It's an unfortunate trend a lot of migrants have trouble getting over, the endless breeding that makes locals anxious that they'll become a minority in their own country in just a few generations.

I'm across twice a week, never an issue. But understandable that the Americans would increase security since the Canadian Liberal government let anyone into Canada.

Good journalism, it's good to get out and hear what people are thinking. In viewing, it occurs to me that it's hard for white people, and maybe Christians, to understand some Asians. I'm an American, so-called white American, and love Sanatana Dharm, or what most people call Hinduism - that term should soon be forgotten. Anyway, this video shows a variety of people called Indians but whom are vastly different in belief. So much so, they maybe fighting in India but abroad, they stick together. Islam and most Indian philosophies (they are not religions as there is no overarching institution or organization) feed the "devotees" several times a day...it is a part of the culture, shared meals with those who share faith. The Indians, they basically want a better life and will send money home. Muslims will buy land through a trust and then buy more and more. I don't know about Canada, but there are no such cultures in America - well, the Church has bought a lot of land but does nothing to serve people. The Mormons have land and a strong daily schedule, some community churches have very strong programs, but as a whole, The Church has done nothing to make itself appealing and therefore, there's no opposite or equal force. What to do? and as far as assimilating, yes, they should, but to what? Should they start playing hockey, drinking beer, etc. The second gen might. The West has lost it's way and religion isn't the solution but a culture not so decadent would be a good start.

It makes you understand why so many Americans voted for Trump and support ICE. The extreme left media like CBC and CNN try to make it out like a bad thing, but Canada needs ICE as well. We need these people out of our country…NOW!!!❤🇨🇦

If I remember right canada first house crises was in the 19’s something and back then they started making more houses to resolved this problem………………..,… And I am thinking that getting immigrants from only 1 country might not be good, because of countries, society mentality…………. One Example ; a-lot people in the USA are strong guns advocate, if Canada only get people from the US and because the majority of Americans love their guns, they may advocate to have more guns freedom in Canada and teach their children guns loving mentality. So it is probably best to mix individual from various country to minimize this outcome. ………………. In any case immigration are very important for countries whom don’t make a lot of babies, to survive and stay strong in today’s world where weak countries are getting crushed by strong countries……………… what make countries strong is their population, where government take taxes to pay and buy defensive guns to defend a country without the need to go into dept and sell its soul to powerful countries. I did not go to any university and yet I was able to understand this …

I´m from Germany and I think Trudeau shows how to be a real leader, not a showmaster. What makes me thougtful is to see the Republicans cheering to Donalds inhumane statements. We Germans historicaly know, that this kind of right wing politics can lead to a real desaster. Trump controls the Senate, House, Doge, Project 2025 is in the White House, all the branches of the Defense Department, the Attorney General and his offices, six of the nine seats on the Supreme Court, and assigned over 250 Federal judgeships to the Federal courts which are a lifetime appointment. The ONLY thing that is standing in the way of Trump are the Federel judges that actually understand the constitution and do not want to destroy this nation. The fly in the ointment? Courts can issue an order based on the constitution or our laws, but does not have any way to enforce them if Trump should just disregard their order. Unfortunately, i think that trump (he does not deserve un upercase) dreams of becoming like putin. All that he is doing, everything in his language and actions screams dictator. I think that putin dreams of having the entire Europe to himself and that trump will actually want everything around the USA which includes ofc, Canada. That was their deal. I don't understand why americans are standing by just watching things unfold. It will not get better, this can only and will get worse. I am a Republican leaning American who did not vote for Trump (never voted for him), and I urge every country to stand up to bullying tactics of Trump. I am relatively rich, so this fluctuating market or rising egg prices will not affect me; poorer people than me will be affected greatly. And ironically, these poorer people voted for Trump. I just don't understand it because if I am a poor American, I would have voted for Bernie Sanders because at least the guy has some integrity unlike most politicians. I certainly hope it doesn’t seem as though all Americans agree with what Trump is doing because many of us certainly do not. He doesn’t understand what the word diplomacy means unfortunately. With inflation rates rising, a trade war is one of the worst possible scenarios, and I agree with the Prime Minister. There are no winners here. Everyone gets hurt.

Let's not forget that the USA has only ever won one war on its own. The American Civil War! WW1 and 2 were a global allied effort, Korea a stalemate, beaten pants down in Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan a shambles. Their recent treatment of President Zolenski was utterly shameful. Thanks for making it clear what you did right but not making it clear on what the US administration wanted from you that you said no to that caused the tariff implementation. It's possible you miss 50% of your illegal border crossings into the u.s. since so much of your border isn't secured. The 1900% increase in illegal crossing in the past few years doesn't look very good. It's dumb to assume you did everything right and then the u.s. just randomly decided they'd continue with the tariffs for fun. Be more honest and say where you put your foot down so the American public can better understand what is going on.

Can someone please tell Trump Canada is our friend. They have given lives in our wars. They are going to find other customers for their oil while our auto industry will be trashed. They will find other countries to buy their lumber while the cost of building American homes soars. It will be easy for Canada, Mexico and China to come out ahead in this trade war. Trump’s understanding of economics and international trade is at the sixth grade level- and not a very bright sixth grader. Finally where is Trumps plan to protect American families and workers? Where is the national resolve to work together to get through this?
