Muslim are comforting themselves too much, if they feel that others' failure to understand them is the cause of their so-called plight. There is nothing worth understanding about their religion. There is Safe Third Country Agreement between the US and Canada. Therefore the law says you are required to claim refugee status in the first country you land in. With that being said he landed in the US first and probably applied for status there. This is a strong deciding factor for the government's decision process amongst other factors. I feel for him but laws are laws.

While watching this- I see a guy who cares. I see a guy who wants to start his life. It just looks a lot to me like somebody who instead of working for 50 years and retiring- wants retirement and money- NOW. I know El Salvador is incredibly dangerous and money opportunities slim... but you just can’t save them all. The great cloud lingering over the heads of everyone born into a free land. Interesting that the would-be Canadians in this video did not appear to speak English or French with any level of fluency. If you were planning to leave your home and establish yourself in Central or South America, you'd learn Spanish or Portuguese to an intermediate level so that you could communicate/understand clearly, land and advance in a job, have the ability to navigate your geography and make informed decisions. (Are you comfortable that this gentleman as depicted in this video would accurately understand his choices should he be allowed to cast a ballot in the next election?). Several of my ESL scholars have learned enough to function very nicely on their own in less than 2 years. It is not an impossible task, but it is part of the deal with immigration and it is essential.

A lot of people comment about how illegal immigration is ok, and blah blah blah. It's simple to say that when you don't feel the direct impact. Change the US as a country to your house. Now let's say the neighbors land Lord is beating the shit outta everyone in that household (play on the violence that's happening in country of orgin). One of then move into your house without letting you know beforehand (illegals). Let's say you don't mind and understand why they did so. Now they work hard around the house and get a job to spend for themselves and send money next door to the family still left behind. . But they don't have to pay for electricity, gas (aka taxes). And since you own a 3 bed room house, things don't change that much. Now 2 more of the neighbors flee because of the asshole land Lord. Now you have to start working slightly harder to pay for your utilities aka taxes. Now you start seeing how more people affect your household. Now even more people flee the next door neighbors and you work even harder for utilities plus your trash is overflowing, have to invest in larger trash cans, fix the doors or ascetic's(pipes, faucets, tubs etc) in your house from over use or mismanagement. Plus you have to start driving their kids to school, you have to get a bigger vehicle (that's a play on the education systems bloating classroom problems)spend more on gas and car maintenance, and since they all don't speak English, to have to spend money on making signs to inform them of the house rules and dangers. You have to invest time out of your schedule to inform them how things work in your house hold because at their house they walked around naked or shit with the door open (play on different societal norms or religions) and may even have to alter your rules as not to impose and anger them. Know the house is over filled and they expect you to buy a bigger house (play on the welfare state)I mean I can go on... But people reading this can get the drift. Point is, yes i understand that people want a better life and all immgration in not necessarily evil, but you can't just let anyone come in because you feel bad. Making change based off emotions of a few is detrimental to the whole.

I don't know why all of Latin America thinks that the USA and Canada have the responsibility of taking care of the people from Latin American Countries. I say let them fix their own countries. Mexico for example, has every resource that the USA has. Coal, oil, natural gas, mineral mines of every type, timber industries, rich farm land, etc..... You name the resource, Mexico has it. I feel sorry for this man and his family! That program was set up by the federal government for unskilled workers, coming to Canada for unskilled jobs that Canadians didn't want. My job was a skilled job, that I had to work my way up from the bottom, to the level of employment, that only skilled workers were capable of doing. This temp program was for unskilled employment only! But if your employer is big enough in the industry, the government allows them to bend the laws of the land, and give your jobs to any undereducated immigrant that comes along...WTF?
