Canada should put a limit to number of refugees they can accept. We can do our part but we can’t openly let anyone in. With climate change, it is expected that the number of refugees with increase in the world. What will canada do then? Put a number limit now. It’s not a easy decision but someone has to take it.

I have already been through biometrics and medical examination by IOM. Received a letter by IRCC regarding Pre-Arrival Services. When I checked today at IRCC website for estimated time period for Government Assisted Refugees Program, it shows 31 months in the country where I am currently hiding. My question, does it really take so long?

I am shocked at the fact there are more dislikes than likes when the CBC provides facts and so many people say they are lies, and others agree! I came to Canada to travel but on an immigration visa in 1965, I got a job from Canada employment centre for 1.50 where nobody spoke english , I quit after 1 day. A week later I found a job in the machineshop for 3.00 Dollars. Good thing the foreman found a portugiese employee who translated from spanish to english, I myself spoke german, ever since then I did I was on the upswing. The government gave me nothing, had enough money to go back. Always a dictionary in my pocket. In six weeks i know enough english to make the driverlicence and bought a car.
