This is why i don't listen to the 0.004% of the worlds muslims that are in canada while there are about 25% outside canada that embrace armed jihad or condone terrorism for allah cause. \n If 300,000,000 muslims want me dead , I'll take their word for it and not listen to the 600,000 muslims in canada that claim that the 300 million have it all wrong because they have the real quran which teach peace . \n\n They all have the same quran that orders them to make the World a Caliphate ruled by sharia law. I feel extremely sad and sick about the invasion of Muslim, Based on history, I know this invasion is planned they are here to conquer the lands. Nobody ignores that the objetive is to dominate the whole world which will be easier in 15 years when they became majority. I just hope I can get out of this country before the expand with the Sharia law. The culture is scary, from men to women the are agree with the sharia law, and liberals do not want to find out what that really means, but it will be too late when they get high positions all around the country. Actually, liberals normally do no have moral and that gives muslim a good excuse to believe that Alla is on their side and they are suposed to dominate. As a young child I remember viewing the Amish women as being in a chronic 'state of funeral' based solely on their signature dark garb. Muslim women living in Canada who wear the typical dark cloth across the features of the face and over the body are putting forth a message that they are 'second class citizens', are 'less than equal', are 'one mans property' - not unlike a common barn yard animal but possibly owning less importance than an animal since an animal can be traded for goods or services for profit. One can understand how real (natural) Canadien women can view this type of apparel as a slap in the face of their gender, a violent slap to go to the 'back of the line', 'take it lying down and like it'. So much is fear based and these Muslim women should shed their fear as layers of dark folds are sent falling to the floor - once and for all...

There is so much negativism associated with Islam and all Muslims get tarred with the same brush. They frighten us. Their dress is alien to us. ISIL and other groups do unspeakable things in the name of their religion. Their religion is too demanding. Christianity and other religions can adjust to scientific facts. We KNOW the world is round and there are other worlds, so far unpopulated, out there. Islam seems to demand adherence to its core beliefs written centuries ago and makes no concessions to emerging facts. Religion is the main influence in the life of Muslims and their Imams seem to have a lot to do with governance and education, instead of the separation of church and state to which we are used. If you come to Canada to live, then adjust to our values or leave, please. This doesn't mean that you have to stop attending a mosque but please discontinue the scary body coverings and start treating your women as equals, not chattels. Even some women will argue with that last bit, but why does a woman have to cover up and a man does not? This is NOT equality.

As an atheist exmuslim who despises orthodox islam and jihadis, I have the ability to separate the regular muslims from the crazy ones. I have always admired Canada's openness and inclusivitiy which I believe is unrivalled in the world. However the hate speech in these comments are troubling. Not all americans are KKK members and not all muslims are jihadis. Let's all oppose the crazy ones together but by preaching hate speech against all Muslim Canadians you are making the situation a lot worse and perhaps turning what is 1% of Muslim Canadians to a higher number.

Canada is not as racist as the US, but I have encountered racially hostile fellow citizens, colleagues, police...Sadly when I was young, such encounters often made me angry and reflect that hostility back....It affected every aspect of my performance in the society, a perfect example of self fulfilling prophecy for those who put out their hate and insecurity out into the world...\n\nI think it is very very very important for black parents to dedicate a very specialized home discussion and teachings to immunize their children from this vile.

My experience in Canada has been largely positive, with only minimal racial difficulties.  As a teenager, I do recall some kids making blatantly racist comments, when I was the only minority in the room; but they were silly girls, popular and full of themselves, and most of the students who heard did not laugh with them. We all knew it was wrong.  Another time I was told, by an agent, that a potential employer claimed she would not hire me because of my race.  I did not hear these words firsthand, though, so it was impossible for me to verify the truth. In the end, I let the matter alone. Other people,  I realize, have endured severe injustices; such have not been my experience, but this does not subtract from their reality.  Indeed, racism does exist, and shall remain as long as there are imbeciles wallowing in the mire of ignorance, people who cling to an absurd sense of superiority for lack of something more meaningful to hold.  As well--and it must be said!--quite likely, we all have, at some point, entertained discriminatory thoughts. 'Tis not a 'black and white' problem but a human one, and we must be mindful of it beginning with ourselves.  Canada, then, with its many inhabitants and complex history, will never be the exception. We can't expect perfection among people, here or anywhere else in the world.  Even so,  I believe there are enough fellow Canadians who strive to treat people as individuals and are happy to make friends across cultures.  My life has been and continues to be a testament to that!  Whatever our troubles, we still retain a proud heritage of diversity and progressive ethnic harmony.  We do try, and for this reason I love my country.  I am deeply patriotic and immensely proud to be part of it!  

so blacks play the race card in canada too, huh...  here's a thought:  there are many countries in the world where the majority are blacks.  it's almost like, instead of bitching about whites in white countries, you can move to black countries or return even to your motherland, africa so all the bitching can stop.  crazy concept, huh?
