You folks who always claim racism, helps to keep it alive.. It may not be the color but the way you act in an establishment. I'm white and had on an old leather jacket ove day while shopping which possibly made me look needy. That day while walking through different stores at the mall, I was followed by store personal and also by the security team while walking between stores. After not seeing what I had been looking for in all of the other stores was a new leather jacket but not seeing what I wanted in all of those places that I visited, I walked to Wilson house of Leather and finally found that new jacket. Best of all it was on sale. I've lost some weight since those days but I still have my leather coat which is a bit big for me now and starting to look like the coat that got me followed that day at the mall. Not everything is color when you get those looks and I would say it's more on the way you present yourself. \n\n Funny how it was during the times of the HURRICANES were the riots and thefts were done by people od color. Not all blacks riot and loot but those who do are a reflection of the thinking of certain races on this earth. Whites are just as guilty but no Asians, Whites Indians Arab or alien were photographed looting during trying times for many. In times of crisis can you depend on your neighborhood?

I am actually shocked to see this information. I did not know. I travelled to Vancouver & Vancouver Island 5X. 2X with my African-American girlfriend. I didn't see any biased behavior at all. Of course, I was not looking for it. We were treated courteously on both sides of the boarder. My grandmother was held as a White slave for most of her youth (indentured servant) in Canada. So, I knew through her that it was one of the possibilities. I am sorry to learn of it. This is a great issue for Americans to get over.

People suffer discrimination all over the world for any reason and in their own countries of origin. Notice on the video the black guys test result showed he loved white people but the white people had unity with their own kind. I wonder if all this time when I constantly bump into employees if they're monitoring me as well.\n\nI'm half Native but don't _exactly_ look it because my dad was really pale. You can tell I'm not 100% white but I could pass.\n\nI do walk around with my own grocery bags because I take the bus/walk home, so I do look a tad suspicious I suppose, so that kind of makes me wonder. They seem very friendly when I speak to them or ask for help though so maybe it's a coincidence.

I took one of these tests years ago, and I wasn't surprised to find out I had a moderate preference for African Americans over European Americans, because I was born and raised in Detroit, but I also found out I saw Asians as 'Less Foreign' than White people... I'm white living in Europe, but I think that the way other people treat you is also very dependable on your facial expressions, on what the first impression you make etc.I have had numerous experiences in my life when going with friend (shopping, or organizing something) that because he looks more friendly or more attractive so people naturally speak to him first.Especially talking to females.Not sure how to fix it.Once people know me, it's much easier.Funny world.

If wearing a nikab or hijab or burka was a sign of respect and honor, we would all be walking around wearing bed sheets over our heads. Having grown up in the midwest of the USA, I find it offensive and oppressive to women to see them hiding under or behind a cloth garment. Talk to anyone who specializes in communication and you will quickly understand that there are many non-verbal communications from facial expressions that contribute to the way we humans communicate with each other. To suppress these facial expressions is like seeing without color and in black and white only. This is a fact of life and not open to debate.
