Hmmm, how do I say this?? WE ARE NOT SURROUNDED BY RACISM!! In my line of work, I'm around people of every color, shape and size. There simply is no racism anywhere I go. This bs only exists in the media. It's all an illusion.

When you say Canada, Focus on Toronto, \nI live in BC, Peaceful people over here. Obviously there’s people that is indoctrinated but I don’t see even quarter of what going on in the states,\nbut we definitely need the government and media to stop separating us. The problem seems to be that the premier’s don’t know the definition of systemic racism. Systemic racism is about institutions, governments, banks, schools, etc limiting access to minorities all minorities. It’s worse in Canada than it is in the US. Look at Canada how many black are in people if government are represented in the government. Look at the companies you work for how many minorities are CEO’s or CFO’s how many VP’s. This is why I say it’s worse in Canada than the US, cause at least in the US upward mobility is not limited to only one minority group but all visible minorities.

Im a white male an i worked at AutoZone , my manager who was black use to make me check on people in the store like that. 98% of the time i was told to watch black people by a black man the other 1% was druggie white people an Spanish

One thing I do see all the time in my personal experience is almost 100% of my delivery drivers when I order take out from uber/doordash/skip they are blacks or minorities.. I mean those jobs are not secure and don't even pay minimum wage after expenses. The fact that these people can't seem to find better work is a concern.

After working in hospitality industry serving many people in local and international blacks don’t tip or undertip. I became more racial profiling towards black they tend to cause trouble, try to get every free service and tip only $1 for entire bill.

If you work as a security guard and let's say 70% of the people who steal are of a certain race, then it's only normal that you inherently start to stereotype that certain race and pay more attention to them in the store

I got a summons for working out, I passed by the same place multiple times to see if other people got summonses for working out at the same location. No one was handed a summons, I guess cops ran out of summonses during other days. Because it can’t be discriminatory.

you guys should also try going to the Philippines or any other Asian country and being white.. try and get a cab.. they will all ask you if you need a ride.. but you pay tons more than the locals would.. it works both ways and it's just normal... get over it... I live in Victoria, and take this. I worked in a place, where the manager was from Asia, and she treated me like hell forcing me to move to another department, claiming she doesn't need an assistant. NEXT day she hired an Asian girl. She obviously needs an assistant, but because she wanted an Asian with her, she did that. And now you go to that department and you find all employees are from her country. Talk about racism, it's everywhere. And yes when an Asian or a black treat others in a wrong way, it's still called racism. People only shout racism when it comes from the White while we do see racism from others, but we don't hear anyone condemning it

California is the same thing, people alway think diversity you don’t think that but I got racism more often in California then in other places. From schools to work places, parks to walking on the streets. I just ignored them. Some people are just plain cruel and mean. They subconsciously do that.

I have no problem with skin color or race. I do have a problem when I go to the doctor's office and cannot understand half of what the doctor is saying to me. I do have a problem when I call for technical service and cannot understand half of what the technician is saying. This is frustrating. If people with another first language want to work for American companies where communication is a big part of the job, I only wish they would speak more fluently. I had this very situation this morning. Called for service, could not understand through heavy accent. He was getting very frustrated with me. If I went to another country it would be up to me to learn to speak that language. I dealt with this in the hospital...and in this setting it can be critical. I spoke to the Chief of Residency because of a potentially harmful situation and was told the residents all meet their requirements for English. well, whoopdido...that did not help either of us when a patient was going south.

?? Im from Ontario Canada and have always worked management in retail. I've always taught any employees in any department that if you see anyone lingering for any longer than 5 minutes, black, white, or any race for that matter to ask if they need assistance! Again I don't care the color, race, most people that come into a store have come in and know what they're looking for! When I see a customer looking for longer than 5 mins, it's just common practise to ask if you need help. I'd suggest you's re-think this practise that we all are taught in stores

I find it to be swept under the carpet as far as racism is concerned, they smile in front of you but behind you they Stab you in the back .well the Americans is right up front I can work with you but I won’t socialize with you, at least you’re truthful.\n\n I find Canadians to be very two face , Hidden they true feeling and pretend a lot . Wait...so can anyone explain am I getting this right? I am from a European country and to apply for a 12 month work permit/visa in Canada I had to get and translate all kinds of travel documents and documents that prove my identity and that I haven't been prosecuted in my country and drive 16 hours just to get biometrics done. And now all of that is going to waste because the borders are closed for me.\nAnd these people can just show up at this border crossing NOW without documents and just like that enter Canada illegally and that's ok? We should know by now, in Canada people who work get nothing for free, anybody else, gets money thrown to them gleefully by the government. What a mess.

Due to too many unhappy citizens of many lands, most productive, constructive countries are over- flooding with other nations peoples. It’s too much. When a person goes somewhere other than their own land less and less of these countries are willing to allow any more refugees in their country. Why because it’s about economics. In economic in an economy all things must be paid for. This is an Democratic society, almost all things are available through businesses. The medium of exchange for all ‘goods and services ‘ are conducted through the means of money. The masses of our nations people are not wealthy. Which most indulge themselves in employment. Employment in exchange for hours of pay we get paid.!The person most quailed to be employed are the citizens of these nations and not other nations people. What I am saying is that each land is more interested in their own home grown employee. So when you the non resident come without our permission you are the one placing yourself and your family in peril. Which means you are responsible for the pain and losses you suffer do to you either misunderstandings or non-available knowledge. Work towards asking for a better government for your own home land. And less people will be disappointed when you are rejected from lands who are already too filled !

the thing is Igor that its almost impossible to find an employer or a job offer. this program works for people who are already in the mentioned provinces. i have applied to too many job vacancies and yet no answer from them and i heard the same from other people as well.
