I am white and I got followed all over a store by loss prevention. The store was in Chile and not the USA. All the white people here who think that racism only goes one way needs to take a stroll in overtown in Miami at 8 pm. Let me know how that goes.

I live in Victoria, and take this. I worked in a place, where the manager was from Asia, and she treated me like hell forcing me to move to another department, claiming she doesn't need an assistant. NEXT day she hired an Asian girl. She obviously needs an assistant, but because she wanted an Asian with her, she did that. And now you go to that department and you find all employees are from her country. Talk about racism, it's everywhere. And yes when an Asian or a black treat others in a wrong way, it's still called racism. People only shout racism when it comes from the White while we do see racism from others, but we don't hear anyone condemning it

8:17 BEST BUY Hello people Just before the COVID 19 pandemic struck our Country, in the United States of America. My son and I were shopping at Best Buy. We had more than five or six different people ask if we needed assistance. My Son would say no thanks, and I would ask each one that did ask if I needed help, to help me. That associate would show me where to look, then try real hard to get away from me. This happened at least five to six times. All six times, I said yes. Finally, they stopped asking me and continued to ask my son. The reason my son would say no thanks is because he was just looking. I, on the other hand, had questions about what I wanted to buy. They did a great job answering all of my questions, however, when it came to buying what I wanted to buy most of all of the associates had either left the area or went home, because I could not find anyone when it came down to purchasing the items I wanted, only to find out what I wanted was made in China, They no longer carry the product, in their stores, or online. However, they still had the items on display; however, you just could not buy them. P.S. We are white.

this is NOT accurate i cant count the times i have been followed and im white, and i think at the same time you need to ask yourself how many people either the same race or not , have been caught shop lifting before you have entered the store ???...and yet racism is too blame !!!

This is unacceptable in islam. This people need to be in jail. Good that u mentoned health care system Drew,but i think that you should've talk more about that.USA has one of the worst HC systems in the world,which means you dont have free health care and you need to pay for everything.. In Canada is totally different.We are witnessing this issue right now with Covid-19 where people need to pay around 35k $ for medicine and other stuff..

Something funny I noticed while in the US was when I talk to people the 2nd thing they ask me is my name. ALWAYS THE 2nd THING THEY ASK. WHY?? I can speak with everybody in Canada without knowing the name ever but Americans feel the need to know that.

Cananda is tolerant, not inclusive. I’m a tiny black female and I’ve always carried myself a certain way because of my upbringing. However, I have been racially profiled my whole life. Thus, you can be ok with people being around you but it doesn’t mean that if you had a choice they would continue to remain there. ?? Im from Ontario Canada and have always worked management in retail. I've always taught any employees in any department that if you see anyone lingering for any longer than 5 minutes, black, white, or any race for that matter to ask if they need assistance! Again I don't care the color, race, most people that come into a store have come in and know what they're looking for! When I see a customer looking for longer than 5 mins, it's just common practise to ask if you need help. I'd suggest you's re-think this practise that we all are taught in stores

Black people need to know  about  African History not European  Culture ,    let me give u  a little  about   African  History , this  for Blacks in Canada ,  America and blacks  all over the world ,   Heres  history   About our people ,    thousands years ago on the continent of Africa ,  theres was place called Ancient Egypt ,  Egypt  was birth place of math, Science,  Philososphy,  and more ,   when Greeks , like Alaxander  came  to Egypt , he study the culture of Egyptians ,  and   Greek Philosopher like  Plato  and  other Greek Philosophers who study  for over 20 to 30 years  in  Ancient Egypt,   so Greeks stole knowledge  from  from the  Ancient  Egypt .   all the letters and words didn't come  Greece ,    the Greeks stole  it   from Egypt  ,   the greeks would put their stamp on their books , so you would think that Greeks    came up    with the Knowledge , but they  didn't  , it was Ancient  Egyptians .   Ancient Egypt is been around  10 to 20 thousands  years  before Greece and Rome ,  there was no other kingdom like  Ancient  Egypt ,    many people  from different  culture  came  to Study in Egypt , before Greece and Rome   snd Arabs and Europeans .    Africa was the light of the world .    everything that  we use today like  math, Science,  letters, and words  that we use come  from  Ancient  Egypt , so black people should  feel proud of   where they   come from  ,

My dad is a really big and tall Mexican man who is real tan. Me and him were at a store and we were looking around for video games. This lady was following us I swear! She kept asking like, do you need anything? Do you need help with anything? And I didn't really think a lot of it until I realized what darker skin people encounter in stores! That's ridiculous!

Stop saying that Muslims need to go back to their Muslim countries, GREAT IDEA but first leave their countries alone first, stop causing wars, financial crisis and other issues in their countries and all of them will happily go back to their so called sharia law countries and guess what????? we will have a major problems in running many different systems in our amazing democratic countries such as the medical industry, just a fun fact..... most of our physicians and pharmacists are actually Muslims also they are the core to so many sectors in N-America and Europe...... While racism is real, there are certain people from some religious dicatorships in Canada spying on the free people of this country and making people uncomfortable too. there are those who want to push their beliefs on all Canadians and there has to be a balance in terms of acceptance and inclusiveness. I find many times people also play the race or discrimination card to push their beliefs and ways of life on others while I have heard them for example swear at and judge Canadians for example who don't cover up their hair or wear mini skirts......that is also discrimination and judgement and is also 100% wrong, even though they may be doing it quietly or in their own language. There is sometimes (besides obvious cases of racism of course) that there are 2 sides to the story! People that come to Canada also need to respect its values of respect for all, not just ask for it for themselves. While a lot of wonderful people come here and have the utmost respect for Canada that is NOT the case with those pushing their beliefs and particularly religious views on the rest of Canadians making them feel like outsiders I have heard many stories about.

People need to stop judging by skin colour. Working security at hospitals for the last few years i can confirm one thing. Most of the people who cause us problems are white males.

Trudeau going to have to establish a DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) program in Canada now - people don't realize there is probably thousands like her scattered across the country mostly in the major cities. They all want similar relief from potentially being deported if they are caught. I have no problem giving it to them since most of them are young but I would enforce the condition that they have to resettle in Manitoba, Northern Ontario and the Atlantic Provinces - areas in Canada experiencing population decline, aging demographics and high job vacancy numbers. We don't need people who didn't follow the rules further overcrowding cities like Toronto and Vancouver where the cost of living is rising every year.

I’ve been accused of racially profiling someone. Because my coworker asked them if then needed assistance & then I did without realizing she already had. She thought we were the same person. I guess because we are both white with brown hair? Felt awful afterward. Not sure why people would even think to spy on people of colour whilst shopping. Usually (in my experience) the people who steal seem sketchy - they won’t make eye contact, are standoffish etc. Those are the people to keep an eye on. You’re just wasting your time otherwise. I get followed quite frequently. It’s pretty funny because I’ve never stolen anything from a store in my life

It's a sad fact that some people can't evolve past the need to make themselves feel bigger by working to make others seem smaller. People do it all the time and race seems to be a favorite reason for the most ignorant.

Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! Unfortunately there is far to many fat people here and the problem is only getting worse because the media says be happy and proud you are fat. If a close one is fat of course I love them but I also tell them privately that they are a walking heart attack. No wonder, the non-whites stick together in tight groups with their respective languages and having strong connections for business, staying and other stuff.
