Sure, Canada has the odd incident that makes headlines. However, these incidents are often isolated and certainly do not rise to the level of injustice often perpetuated in the US. Consequently, it's hard for me to believe in Canadian movements specifically targeting the Canadian police for racism against black people. I do believe in Canadian movements that show support to the overall BLM movement, though. Imo, the race we constantly overlook as a society, and who bear the full brunt of systemic racism in Canada, are the Aboriginal peoples.

Im a white male an i worked at AutoZone , my manager who was black use to make me check on people in the store like that. 98% of the time i was told to watch black people by a black man the other 1% was druggie white people an Spanish

So there's racism you cannot change that if people dont like you there's no way to make them like you. For one thing police have done the same to white people too.

The problem here is people apply their previous experiences to future contacts. That's human nature. So if the last 3 times you dealt with a certain group of people and you got ripped off, the next similar person will be looked at more closely. Only a fool keeps making the same mistakes. This is not discrimination. If you find your group does most of the rip offs or violence then you can expect the victims to remember

As a Muslim, I disagree with the Muslims coming to Canada and trying to change the culture. We have to respect the culture of the western world, just like how travellers who go to the east have to respect the rules. Who are blaming for racial profiling, Canadian people? Maybe these racialized groups have showen more trouble in all areas of lives like higher unemployement rate, drug use, criminality, slums... I think everyone has their own bias / opinion for any person. Regardless if they are the same race or different. People of the same race can dress differently and people will have different opinions. All we can do is to be our best not to behave in a rude or hurtful way. And I feel for the most part, in major multicultural areas, Canadians are doing their part. \nSome of the tests in the video seem a bit too high level. It's not really scientific. You can't make any definite conclusions from it.

For example, British Columbia feels like a foreign country compared to not just Quebec (the most obviously different province in Canada) but also compared to Nova Scotia or Manitoba, whereas Washington state or Minnesota is less different than Pennsylvania or Massachusetts.\n\n2) Native Americans (or First Nations, as they're called in Canada) make up a way higher proportion of the Canadian than American population, though less so percentage-wise in Montreal or Toronto or even Quebec City, and they are thus much more in the consciousness of the average Canadian than the average American.

Well, Canadians are a minority in North America. California has more people than Canada. There are more Blacks in the USA than all Canadas population. So, being a minority will make you feel like your kind of special. Being American is not since there are 320 million Americans .
