I have been living here for 28 years (that’s most of my life, I came her as a young child). My sister’s and I have experienced first hand racism due to our hijab in elementary school, high school, after 9-11 during job interviews (myself and my brothers due to their name being Muhammed). Over time things have gotten better alhumdolillah but racism exists everywhere and many have experienced it. Where there are people that use racial slurs or acts of discrimination etc, there are many more that will support you and guide you. My parents and my little sister moved 3 years ago in Quebec, I went there once to visit and it was actually a beautiful place to be. I'm french so we don't really have the same mindset BUT we get used to it. People are kinda nice and there is so much stuff to do ^^ I plan to go back visit them but also to visit Toronto and Vancouver. It'll be fun. You’ve been in an English speaking country for awhile. So why do you need to communicate via Spanish? You should’ve learned the language by now. Well, you are lucky you can go to the US to drown out all of your problems, in Iraq the healthcare is bad, the education system is bad (especially in public school where kids get hit.) and the people are not nice. The only people who are kind are in Iraqi Kurdistan! Oh, yea I have depression and I am only 11 (my parents think it is not serious.) I have a query any help will be appreciated, my passport details have changed as my passport was damaged I have given the biometrics with the damaged passport and they processed it also got updated in IRCC website online, should I contact IRCC to explain that the passport number which I used to apply for PR is now changed or is it ok to leave as is and go to stamping with both the old and new passports once i receive my COPR (I have still not received my COPR)

I live in the USA. I have strongly considered moving to Canada. The US is great. But don't believe the hype that we are the greatest country on earth. That is nonsense.\n\nIt's very stressful living in the US. Yes, you can become wealthy. But you have to basically dedicate your life to working. Working for corporations can provide a nice living for your family. But you won't be home very often.\n\nBottom line is that the US is not what it used to be.
