I have to disagree with all the comments. We lived in Texas for about 3 years. It was horrible. Jobs were scarce and its dangerous. Every night we had to watch our backs. Crime is incredibly high. We didn't feel safe. And the health care. Oh boy it's bad. If you don't have good coverage your not getting health treatment. We never had the funds to see a doctor because it was just too damn expensive. We moved to Toronto. Couldn't be happier. We don't have to worry about the crime so we feel safe. Sure the health care is slow that's true but at least it's free we don't have to pay a dime to see a doctor. And plus. WEED IS LEGAL. I can smoke all the weed I want here without facing any questioning by the authorities. So I think it's not fair for you guys to talk bad about this great country.

The Canadian government makes it incredibly difficult for employers to hire legal immigrants in skilled positions. I know several examples of employees and companies spending enormous amounts of effort, time and money to traverse the bureaucratic obstacle course.

What we get are lousy heath care workers who barely understand or speak the English language and are caring for our Elderly and mistreating them. This I saw first had. I took my Mother home out of a senior home and cancelled home care as they never showed up on time. Would they leave there parent in a urine soaked brief for 5 hours as that is how late they were. I had to quit my job to take care of her. I myself am disabled with a spinal injure. The worst part of “Home Care workers” is that they wanted me to call in and cancel so they got paid. This statement gave from the Home Care nurse in charge of these immigrants working here. Seven of my friends, who are educated health care workers, which they themselves paid for, not paid my our government. They can’t get a job. The last job I applied for and they ask you status I put that I am a Canadian refugee in my own country. \nPretty sad when on Remembrance Day you have these woke individuals begging for money to help refugees. They should be ashamed of themselves for this disgusting action as this is a time to remember the men and women who fought for our freedom. Trudeau is a total embarrassment to all Canadians. He brings in more refugees rather than helping Veterans and homeless Canadians.

I grew up in Edmonton and left Canada 30 years ago because the Edmonton Police simply would not leave me alone. I couldn't even drive my car around the block without winding up in a courtroom. The police harassed my parents for years after I left hoping to find me. (i.e. STAASI). Now I live in subtropical Australia and still drive the same Oldsmobile. I know people who have done Masters in Software engineering are working in a Pizza shops. If there is one job opening there are 10 thousand applicants for the same job. Companies showing fake jobs to satisfy govt. pressures. Automated refusals replies of your job applications are common.\n People get hired on sources and within companies. I moved to Niagara region and they charged me $200 deposit for water $200 deposit for hydro plus monthly bills separate. $1800 to $2000 is the rent of one bed apartment. Burlington where he lives has $2800 to $3000 rent monthly for a house. Go check online! Price of buying a home is in millions of dollars. Go check real estate.

All greed and brain washing by developed countries. I left my permenant residency in USA and moved legally to Canada hoping it was going to be better. It was not. Guess what. I am leaving here too and going back to Africa. I was never happy making lots of money or being around rich people. My heart goes out to him. I was a refugee as a young child. I knew nothing about the legal meaning of my circumstances. But over the years, I have gleaned the fact that refugee status has specific legal boundaries. These legal specificities are not determined by any one country. They are determined by international law. You need to be persecuted. Specifically targeted. As a person. Or as a member of a targeted group. Jumping from one country to the next doesn't change the definition of a refugee as determined by international law.

EVERY Country has immigration laws. You can’t just walk into any country you want and instantly be granted the same benefits as citizens and legal immigrants. It doesn’t work that way in Canada, USA or any other country for that matter.

As someone going through quite a bit of hassle to move/settle in Canada and pursue citizenship LEGALLY, this video makes me furious.

There are also fake refugee scams, many people from China, USA, Africa, Middle East are not real refugees, they have decent lives in their own countries, however, they can't immigrate through legal ways, either they are too old or they don't have enough work experiences or educations, they cheated and they claimed that they are refugees.
