We admire the Government for all their care for Muslim community, and yet you are trying to dify its narrative. Your PM categorically viewed this incident as a branch of Islamophobia. At last you are one of us, we as Pakistanis never accept our open discrimination towards gender, religion, faith, cast, etc because our national ego is bigger than people’s sufferings. There are thousands suffering only because we have an attitude of bewilderment, its not gonna stop.

It is such a shame that follow Asians and even American Natives play such a role in perpetuating racism against African descent people, but I guess they have their issues of identity. Real shame nonetheless, but one thing at the time, we still have a bigger hurdle to overcome.\n \nOf course, it is still not easy to be a black woman, man or child today. Sadly our mothers are still crying for their children being killed or overly punished by the police institution, our kids are still targeted if not simply despised for being beautiful, bright, talented, lively and brilliant beings with deeper skin tonalities, and hair that speaks for us otherwise. It is still dangerous because there is so much hatred across the world against us as we are coming to understand. And hatred is unpredictable. It comes in different ugly shapes. \n\nAfrican descent people are institutionally exposed to a lack of opportunities based on race, leading to the disproportionate poverty levels in our communities, and poverty brings your far closer to crime. That should not be so difficult to calculate. We're faced with higher mortality and disease rates, covid 19 has rubbed that to our eyes, care systems medical world is in less favour and neglect black communities. On a day-to-day, I am so insulted about the security guard that follows me in the shop, it is so disrespectful and embarrassing, that makes me move suspiciously indeed, yet so low and ignorant I don't even want to have to confront the issue. \n\nI agree with the writer who writes about his experience (and shame?) of being a black man in Canada- the same is institutionally reflected in Europe and across the world let's not be naive, we're not welcome but they should know they have no choice. I believe what he really is trying to express is based on the fear of being a black man in a hostile environment, but we should certainly have nothing to be ashamed of. \n\nOn contrary, we should be very proud because we are still here, like any other citizens paying our taxes and playing positive roles in society by major. We have positive role models are everywhere, from the single mother raising her children with force and determination to the black father who teaches at a local school, from the black girl who's achieved top grades to university to the black young man who's been headhunted from the medical school. And all of us who are just trying. \n\nLook closely. While the media will continue to do its good job demonising and stereotyping us negatively, let's not forget that we are real people with real accomplishments who have always made impactful contributions to society. \n\nHere's the thing, we are admired, loved and celebrated because of the brilliance, talent, charisma, swag and wealth we bring to contemporary culture. Everyone consumes black culture, from the filler lip service to the quick fix tan, from rock and roll to hip hop and RnB music, to sports athletes to the amazing creators out there, no need to mention names. But, we also are doctors, politicians, judges nurses, waiters, carers, scientists, builders, bankers, entrepreneurs, employees or unemployed. \n\nSadly on a day-to-day, we are not viewed as equal people, with equal rights and needs, who, by large, just want the good for our children, our families, neighbours and indeed countries. STOP INSTITUTIONAL RACISM. We are real mothers, real fathers, real children who have a birthright to equal treatment, respect and human dignity, whether or not you choose to disagree.

I think u just speead negativity a lot about work in the minds of people ..yahh it's true that u have to do a lot of hard work to live in canada or other countries but u no there r some cities where u cn get easily work from initially and u cn maintain healthy lifestyle I'm not pointing about ur struggle i no we have to face ups and downs when we 1st tym been to anywhere even in india too but i personally think tht u r just spreading negativity .....even some of my relatives and frnds r in canada nd thy just do a part tym job appx 5 hrs in a day and thy live happily

All greed and brain washing by developed countries. I left my permenant residency in USA and moved legally to Canada hoping it was going to be better. It was not. Guess what. I am leaving here too and going back to Africa. I was never happy making lots of money or being around rich people. Rather suffer financially until death than live and pretend to believe lies about what it means to be human. You are a complete person no matter where you live, or how much you make or what language you speak.

Canada has racist issues but I assure you all the United States is way worse. I live here I know. Any country in the world that has a large majority population of white are going to be on guard with black or any dark skin people. We are seen as a threat to their comfort and superiority. Black people have to get away from these white countries and go somewhere we are welcome. It won’t stop!!!!

As a store worker I follow people on drugs not minorities lol and where I live there are very few African Americans maybe 3% and generally very financially well off

My parents and my little sister moved 3 years ago in Quebec, I went there once to visit and it was actually a beautiful place to be. I'm french so we don't really have the same mindset BUT we get used to it. People are kinda nice and there is so much stuff to do ^^ I plan to go back visit them but also to visit Toronto and Vancouver. It'll be fun. I like your videos, it helps to learn more things about Canada and living there.

Canada or uk for a great living and Nice people ??

I'm sure the intent of this video was to be fun, buts as a Canadian I would like people to know that it's not always cold here. We have four seasons. Most of the population lives in cities that are near the border with the US and have very similar climates to the northern states below them. Please don't believe that you need to wear your toque (see what I did there) in the summer.

Local Brampton Mayors and Ontario gov never tried to put/invite some universities, hospitals and white collar jobs in Brampton, due to that Brampton became mostly bedroom community and all mix people started leaving city by seeing huge influx of South Asian population. Most people in Brampton are either truck driver, construction worker or labourer working in warehouse, while North-West part of Brampton is mostly young IT people working in Downtown or Mississuaga. I personally don’t know a single person who works in Brampton. But, still every Indian wants to live in Brampton just because of food & brown community. Now Brampton will become more brown and brown every year, just because there is no reason for other community to come and live in Brampton, no white collar jobs, not many hospitals or colleges or universty which can bring mix crowd. Brampton will be 100% south asian in next 10 years as most 50%+ new immigrants to Canada are from South Asia and every year 450000 new immigrants comes to Canada!

As a Canadian it really pisses me off to see people constantly coming here thinking that it’s gonna be a free ride and don’t even attempt to better their lives , like why did u come here? We have enough to worry about as it is !! My family came to this country as refugees and never acted so entitled

Like dude I was born in Canada and my parents are immigrints who came legally so I can tell you my side. A non biast side. Since I live and work here I can tell u most people of colour r welcoming, however most people who are here and have trouble finding work dont wanna see more people come and make it harder like texas and arizonia. Uneducated people are everywhere but Karens feel proud of that. Karens love to face hate and insult to them but unfortunately, Indians moving outside of India are not like that. Well, you are lucky you can go to the US to drown out all of your problems, in Iraq the healthcare is bad, the education system is bad (especially in public school where kids get hit.) and the people are not nice. The only people who are kind are in Iraqi Kurdistan! Oh, yea I have depression and I am only 11 (my parents think it is not serious.) From overwhelming amounts of bad experience: Generational abuse, damages, corruption, delusion, speaking and acting with certainty, even indisputable while other possibilities exist - creating more and more conflict and damages and time being wasted, is life in Canada. The Canadians who have taken power and control over and upon others and childrens lives, have sabotaged so many lives, have corrupted reasonableness, logic, and needed care. Many Canadian children have been and are still being tortured, trafficked, profited on, and poisoned. Victims are now disabled, expected to heal themselves often while still feeling tortured, and are largely left to continue to suffer while the majority basically looks the other way, works to party, play, go on vacations and such, and basically refuses to understand what went wrong, where it went wrong, and where it's going wrong, in childhood. This's why I think most don't get it and why Canada doesn't have smart people, and why people ask why from others instead of figuring it out or should already know the answer if so-called adults were competent and actually helpful. The ugly truth is that Canadians don't know how to raise children all that well - day after day, year after year, generation after generation. Emotional and physical damages are often permanent; one a child or a person is poison and traumatise, there's no coming back. Canada at large is still one of the worst human violators on this planet and there is really no end in sight for child abuse because it's not Canada's top priority.

I live in Vancouver and I believe I was experiencing racism while looking for a placed to live. I was asked over the phone If I was Chinese, I said no and the person said that's what they were looking for. Or when I went to look at a suite and the person was east Indian and they ghosted me after seeing what I look like which happened a few times. This makes it hard to find a place to live in Vancouver considering the high population of Asian home owners. I think it may have been different while looking for apartments. This can happen to white people as well especially in a diverse city.

Canada is not exactly a place people want to live in. Nobody enjoys 6-8 months of winter. The passport is good though .

The easier solution is for all racists people to go live together in one secluded area this way they don’t have to deal with any other race that would be the easiest solution ever

Does the word 'refugee' not have any meaning to anybody anymore? Pffft. It's like this in Europe. Let's be honest, most are economic migrants not refugees and I find it deeply insulting to see such powerful words abused and entirely watered down in meaning. It's like the gross abuse of words like 'phobic', 'fascist' and 'racist' etc. The more you fling them around as pejoratives that enforce or heighten some emotional angle in your rhetoric, as a dopey shorthand smear word, the greater the REAL damage. If you genuinely care about words and their meanings. There's nothing wrong with immigration whatsoever, the problem is illegal immigration and people who play the system. It angers everybody, especially other legit immigrants, interestingly enough. When you live 'in it' you can spot a load of old bollocks a mile away.

I am a dark skinned Indian living in Germany. Trust me, the most racist ones here are immigrants from Arabia, Africa and East Europe. My experiences with them are a real horror. Germans are far more nicer and classier people. Its unfair that whites alone get blamed for racism as if other ethnicities are innocent

a landlord can not rent to whoever they choose for any reason they choose. the biggest racial judgement is the one made by supposed 'minorities' that just because youre born white, you have life easier than other people. i am native american, canadian & irish, & i am fully white. by 16 i had buried both parents & was living on my own, at 9 i was picking cucumbers with migrant workers, if racial profiling is bad, how bad is the assumption that others have a easier life than you simply because theyre white?

The people who hate Canada and/or think Canada sucks are probably people living in the United States.

What the people dont realize is that CANADA is a very expensive place to live, they think they can come here and live on couple of bucks. Canada is not the States. We pay the highest taxes, highest alcohol price, housing market is just ridiculous, Hydro most by any country, ...oh man I could keep on going. oh yeah...and dont forget that beautiful cold snow and the shovelling u have to do in -30 degree weather.

That's why this country needs stronger immigration policies to ensure that people get a fare chance to live in Canada regardless of their wealth.

The tax in Canada is not very high. At least compared to many other Western Nations. \nI came from Germany to Canada and the tax in Canada is a joke me according to me. Income tax with social contributions is roughly 42% even on average salaries in Germany. Sales tax is 19%. Cost for energy and fuel is almost ten times higher than in Canada.\nSure, Canada is pretty expensive. Housing, food and medication are massively overpriced compared to many at EU countries. I need medication every month and in Canada I pay roughly 180 Dollar while in Germany it was zero. Even without the health insurance I would only pay 30€ a month for that.\n\nOverall Canada is good, but doesn't necessarily offer a better quality of life. I only live here because I like Canadian people and the mentality is great.

The problem is also, even if it's just a small minority that hold backwards beliefs, how small is a small minority of 1.8 billion people? 100 million? 150 mil? 300 mil? The fact is even if the majority are peaceful, there are still WAY TOO MANY that hold violent, illiberal, misogynistic beliefs. Do ex-buddhists fear for their lives if they leave their faith?
