You are right ladies , I’ve been living here for 4 years , the health care system is messed up, you have to wait several months or over a year to get an appointment with a specialist, taxes are very very high , you need to have 2 jobs to be able to pay for expenses , I was in college our teacher told us ( we were like 30 students ( his kids were born and raised and Canada and they moved to England and get a better job $$$ and they left , the teacher at the end told us become citizens and go …… to USA , I have 2 jobs and I’m paying taxes like a crazy , I can’t handle that anymore is affecting my mental health

Yes the racism is very high here. \nMany people come here for a better life but that is very hard to find now days in Canada. Governments here, on every level have let Canadians down . I'm a blk American born and raised and l have serious interest in moving to Canada. Since my people are from the US this is all l know so Im acclimated to the racial climate of the states. A lot of your cons are the same issues many face in the states. Taxes are crazy cost of living is insane wages are stagnant and you basically live to work. I live in Minnesota which is not far from the Canadian border but originally from New Jersey so I'm used to the cold. The health care system is sh*t here. Noone really has money to pay privately that's why our care is funded by employers. At the current moment there is also a shortage of medical professionals so often times you still have to wait months for appointments but you know what l would rather wait and have my taxes pay for my doctor then go into medical debt. My biggest issue with America is you pay all these taxes and reap nothing at least in Canada you can kinda see where the money is going.

Free health care makes the system overwhelmed and causes delays in getting treatment, try being in a situation where u have a life-threatening illness and can't afford treatment. It's hard to build wealth in Canada, try building your stupendous wealth in a country that is unsafe with poor infrastructures. There's no perfect situation in life but I think having a good quality of life supersedes wealth accumulation and most other things.

Our car insurances are super high you can go to our supermarket to buy bread a bottle of juice a pre made lasagna (that you just throw in the oven) and easily spend 47 dollars. Our gas prices are currently 7.50 per gallon. My family and I are considering making the move to Canda I do appreciate your advice and your options thank you for that. Very good video. I am an Australian citizen, and I share your views. Also I want to add another reason why I prefer Canada than Australia. Being originally from Peru, I currently live in Peru, my wife is also Peruvian and a baby with 5 month at the time of writing, however there is no family reunion visa to take my whole family (only my baby who will hold Australian citizenship but not my wife) so I cannot take them both, because migrations force my wife to apply to the Partner Visa, that cost AU$7850 (US$5,600) plus agent fees, documents, ticket price, and other cost. Also the waiting period is about 24 to 28 months. So if I return to Australia, I first need to find a job, then save the $5,600, send and amount of money to Peru during my absence, then wait about 2 years and spend about $10,000 to $15,000 extra to bring my family to Australia. The cost of waiting carries a lot of anxiety, health issued due to the uncertainty and may damage my marriage, And if I get to my wife a Visitor visa, she is not allowed to work and study, and I must pay private insurance, and for experience, private insurance policies and gap costs are very high. I can imagine that what you are describing will be the case with my wife. But is Nigerian men are here so you don’t have to be spending your money. To be honest, I would prefer my wife not to work, however when I left my job to start a charity - her work became important to support other things so that I could focus on mortgage etc. \nBut now that the difficult times are over in Jesus name. It sounds like you would both be happier if you went back home. When you get there please contribute some of what you learned in Canada to the people around you. One of the problem is that the doctors and other medical professionals use the low costs educational systems in Canada to get an education and then promptly leave for the US. Taxes are high in Canada. But try paying 20,000 to 25,000 to buy health insurance for a family of three. And you go to hospital for a week and end up with $125,000. Bill. Try going to America for their health care, you pay health insurance, but have to wait ages at emergency, you may get an op faster but if your plan does not cover all your costs you will need to get a loan, some people have to sell their homes. Yes they let you have a holiday or a sick day off but you don't get paid. Well I hope you two young and beautiful ladies stick with Canada. \n\nI will say you might be a little off when you say that in the USA you will be paid more and can become richer. The fact is the US has the highest inequality among wealthy nations. And the worst health care, they place 20 out of 20 in the OECD. So wages and getting rich I disagree with, and cost of goods are on par....however housing is still cheaper and that is a big one. \n\nDue to the massive immigration we are experiencing here (too fast imo) it plays a big factor in health care degradation and wait times etc. The government was slow to respond to the fact when you add 300 000 people a year to Ontario it will require more health care providers. \n\nAnd don't forget it was the taxes my ancestors paid that provided the buildings you now enter for health and school etc. It seems that is seldom thought of by new comers. You don't get a reward or a claim for car insurance unless you get in accident ffs. You started the video with an opinion not a fact. You can In fact gain wealth here. You have access to RRSPs and tax Free Savings accounts to help with Taxea for people earning over 6 figures. No one has tries to take your money, the policies are clear as day. You also have access to the Canadian stock market where they will allow you to keep 50% of your excess and tax the other 50%. ALL TRUE. I left Canada for the States in 2021. Single RN no dependents here, no chronic disease. There was no sweet spot for me back home. Working extra shift or working according to my FTE has always been a dilemma. Coz the more money you make the more you are being taxed. At some point, it felt like I was just working for my bills and for other peoples’ social benefits/health care. I wasn’t saving up more. I wasn’t building wealth. Definitely the safest and one of the best BUT that’s if you are WILLING to pay the price. Here in the States, I can pay my US and Canada bills at the same time. Can’t do that back home ??. Sad but TRUE.

Many of the same reasons would also apply to the US. I think getting your citizenship/passport is important so you have the option to return if you decide to leave. I lived in Canada but currently reside in Florida. I don't miss the long winters but I like the summers there. I think the crime rate and health care costs are a big plus in Canada. We have Miami beach but frequent shootings there have kept me away. So it boils down to an individuals choice.??
