Well, I am not going to generalize all people in the same category. There are good and bad people everywhere in the world but being first generation immigrant in Canada is really hard in every part of life. First, even you are fluent in English you will have an accent that makes big difference in your job hunting, making friends and get along with different people. Many times, I have been treated on the basis of how I look and on the basis of my accent.

Regardless of what your political stance is no country in the world is okay with massive amounts of immigration. Most of these people never assimilate and become productive members of society. No country is capable to support the influx of people, it's unfortunate but true.

You fled the richest nation in the world, for Canada\n What did you expect? \nCanada takes refugees from war zones not from NYY.. Canada doesn't just hand out money. Especially to people who think they can jump our border and our immigration process. There are plenty of people who spent a lot of time and work to earn their citizenship legally. Racism is just a fact of the human condition.  Humanity has a fallen nature in a broken world.  In this broken world, inhabited by mortal people with a fallen nature, there will always be bigotry.  Thus, the need for a redeemer.

To all the people saying why dont these immigrants stay in their county to make it better---here is a little think piece because i used to say the same thing\n\ni used to say the same thing but we are blindsighted by your american privilege. My parents are immigrants and i told them the same thing, why dont people stay to make their country better? And they flat out told me it will get you killed. Americans have no idea how coniving amd evil leaders in other countries can be. Just the other day, a dictator from eritrea was bargaining prices with Israel to send back refugees from his country. He said the refugees fleeing his regime should be given 50k to be deported from isreal because they risked their lives. You would think he really meant that right? As soon as those refugees come back hes taking that money and sending them to a forced slavery like military program. There is no such thing as human rights. So if you were in such a dire situation, dont you think you would do anything to get out? The only solution i see is if the entire world could be under a larger, strong governing force that keeps leaders in check and can withold vital resources from offenders. The UN isnt cutting it.

This guy spent all this time in America and he can’t speak English? America is the worlds melting pot we welcome immigrants that want to be AMERICANS! Not people that want to turn my country into something other then it is.

People should focus on building stable governments and economies in their own countries. You can't just expect the western world to continue to take in millions from failing countries. It's destroying the west. I want to preserve my own country, culture, and heritage for my children. Legal immigrants are welcome who have skills and who embrace American culture. Why do people who haven't contributed anything to our society get anything while seniors and veterans struggle? Seniors built this country and veterans defended it. I get that we want to help but we can't save the whole world.

People suffer discrimination all over the world for any reason and in their own countries of origin. Notice on the video the black guys test result showed he loved white people but the white people had unity with their own kind. In general, people are not given to searching very hard for the truth. Being sinners, we humans are concerned with what pleases us-------the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life, as the Bible tells us. All this is sin, 'for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God' (Romans 3:23, New Testament). But islam so obviously uses religion to justify and cover up sin! Therefore those who are not brainwashed by it should be able to see through it, that it is a system of lies and oppression. \n\nIt is understandable when leaders of countries steeped in islam go along with it. But there is NO EXCUSE for leaders like Trudeau, who have NOT been brought up in it and yet support and promote it. They have no regard for truth, no respect for God, and do not care about the millions across the world who have been and are being victimized by islam.

I think honestly the Islamic face covering when the lady was collecting made people uncomfortable because as humans we read each others facial expressions. Also in the western world the face covering tends to be a symbol of how women are mistreated in the Middle East. Of course the people who commented those rude things were obviously bigoted but the ones who just walked by & didn't donate just prob felt uneasy.

I'm white living in Europe, but I think that the way other people treat you is also very dependable on your facial expressions, on what the first impression you make etc.I have had numerous experiences in my life when going with friend (shopping, or organizing something) that because he looks more friendly or more attractive so people naturally speak to him first.Especially talking to females.Not sure how to fix it.Once people know me, it's much easier.Funny world.

I myself am Muslim, there is just a small fraction of the religion that are radicals. Just remember it is the fastest growing religion in the world. If you fear for your life, then don't drive because I guarantee you your chances of getting in a car accident are higher than the chances of being killed by a radical Islam a group. People these days cannot be so judge mental on people's race, ethnicity and clothing...

When we learn to look upon one another with compassion regardless of their race, religion or personal belief's and look instead at the heart of an individual, only then will we make strides to heal and to connect one another across Canada and the world. There's an overwhelming racism borne of intolerance for one another and intolerance is borne in my opinion often of fear. When we don't understand someone, we do tend to make up something to line the box that we force someone to live from but would never accept the same for ourselves. If you see someone being berated, being treated differently then you yourself would accept, you owe it to yourself and to the one being hurt to stand up and to intervene. When attitudes change, people change. Blessing's.

I have often wondered why can't we have a healthcare system like Canada's but America spends all of it's money on so many things in the world because of our position on the world stage we just can't work that out, thats what happens when you're the world super power.\n Most Americans have health insurance through their employer, a certain amount is taken out of our paycheck every month and if I get sick or have an emergency I pay a small co pay at the doctors office which is 35 dollars and emergency room co pay is 150 the insurance pays the rest.

Call me whatever, but India has been dealing with this for a very long time, probably since 1980s. I dont hate islam but I dont love it either. Let's just say that I wouldnt buy a house in Muslim neighborhood. It has been a nuisance to India since a long time, every time we screamed in UN for help. We got shut down until the problem reached world wide. People say it started happening since Iraq and syrian war which is slightly incorrect. This problem has been there since ages prior to war, It just manifested on a high level recently. There are so many examples...This religion feeling which later turns into violence starts with your own house, your upbringing and your own values. If a kid is used to seeing his mom being suppressed then when he grows up, dont expect much from him. Now every community has this issue but in Muslim community it is engraved in you the moment you open your eyes on planet earth. You cannot defend the argument when someone says Women are suppressed in mulsim culture. The most hurtful thing happening is in UK. A country which gave you food, shelter, respect, a better life. You are trying to impose your values on it? As a matter of fact, good muslims should come out openly and boycott these terrorist who are trying to create chaos if they really want to show good intentions but you wont see any (for obvious reasons). They often cry about they being a victim but what about other people?? If all good muslim come out and boycott bad muslims then that would be a thing to appreciate and notice. In last you cant clap with one hand! Remember that.

I've traveled all over the world and have noticed racism exists in all races and nationalities. Most racism occurs because people are in fear and loathing of each other. The reason is simply because we're comfortable among our own kind and when confronted or meeting someone different than we are we behave differently around them. Most often giving way to our prejudices and stereotypes. Instead of treating each other as human beings and individuals, we give in to racism.

Sadly racism is in every country in the world, if people look different, I guess some of us assume their values are different

I am a muslim and everybody think that those guys who kill are real Islamic people , they are going to hell that what God said .
