Recruiters don't lure the students. It's the students who are desperate and greedy to earn more money in a short amt of time. You can see them every part of India.

To all parents and students who are dreaming to study and live abroad please, research about college and see the credibility. Students who are coming after high school going abroad for higher studies please go after bachelor for your PG course. Even a tough guy and girl at such a tender age may not be able to take mental burden. In India we are all protected and guarded and never worked till Bachelor . Have some work experience stay away from family for at least 6 months and see if you can cope with change. This will help you to understand and learn to adjust on your own. Life is not so cheap to give away like that. Hope it helps .

These students are completely misguided!

Many people especially from states of Gujarat , Punjab , Andra Pradesh are desperate to move out of country because of social economic issues. The story did not end here, the Indians who are already in Canada are exploiting these poor students by increasing rent, forcing them to work illegally at a low wages. If Canadian authority do not look into these issues , there will be a situation where law and order will be out of control.

Canada's economy can no way support so many international students esp those from Community colleges, these are not highly skilled or educated people, these community colleges and lax liberal laws are setting them up for disaster.

Canada is an olygarchy dictatorship, literally a slave camp .the economy is setup in a way to leave canadians with no options but to slave themselves .you cant break out of the system when you have to work two jobs just to afford a one bedroom apartment.the criminal government of canada spends billions on false advertisements online to get more immigrants in and rip them off all their life savings , same for international students who are used as a cash grab for private colleges and universities. What about the high fees and narrow ... In the education area international students who are forced whipped to take 3 / 9 even if they are sick, broke or have finally one subject left. ( sky rocket fees with so much biasness among coloured and Muslim students )\n\nCanada cares about family values, ( really ) my friend's husband died and her children have grown up, 6 years, no reason but it's Canada. \n\nWhy restrict students with their 3/9 to sponsor their partners, during these times of uncertainty ( pandemic ) we'll it's too hard but everyone and everything that tries to fly with eyes folded will crash land sooner or later. \n\nThe Canadian system is ? slow and too bad but squeezing the juice out of every new comment.\n\nI am an interior student with good English and am still unable to sponsor my husband. 4 years up. \n( alhamdulillah no language barrier, no criminal records, husband knows French, Engineer in profession, international experience... )

ALL students regardless of their status - only EVER choose a school that has PROVINCIAL designation to issue student loan funding - doing that acts as a quality assurance step, even better - only take PROVINCIALLY LOAN ELIGIBLE PROGRAMS, even if you have no intention of taking loans out. The provincial and federal gov will never issues loans to a program that is not got through accreditation.

As regards tax...money is put back into the system to give the quality of life to enjoy. It’s definitely changed a lot! Used to love it in 2012-17, but now is full of immigrants who have not mitigated or cannot due to their background and culture ! Too many wanna be students and economic/illegal immigrants have created security situation. Can’t travel without fear in TTC in GTA. Every day murdered people probably gang related or otherwise. Sir, I have a question in my mind. When we apply student visa for any country likewise UK or Canada and if currency price get doubled of that country after successfully getting CAS and during visa processing, so what can we do during this time? Because we must have to show old funds..

My question, and I know I'm gonna get eaten alive, is why so many Indians? What about people from the rest of the world? Canada feels like India these days. I would like to see more diversity. Also, Canada needs to do better about making sure there's more diversity in its numbers. Also, Canada needs to ensure colleges don't charge so much more. Afterall, we who eventually get PR will be paying taxes too (which is the rationale given for why local students pay less).

The way I see this after watching this documentary for which I am not even an international student, that there are no consequences at all from Canada to those colleges. No one is regulating anything, hence, these Crimes (Yes its a crime because of the straight out lies and misinformation) in India or even other countries will continue to happen. Brampton (City near Toronto) have majority of Punjabi population and I am sure you can find many more students with even worse stories than this. 4-5 Int student dead bodies sent to India every month!! Just wow!
