I was Infantry for 27 years and most recent Vets were raised in a DEI/Woke environment and on a good day, about 10% of Vets actually fight while the rest are in the 28th Mess Kit repair detachment, never been in danger and the first to whine that they have PTSD. The real soldiers almost unilitaterly support Trump because we are the ones who do the job. And Trudeau is a pretty boy left wing little Phag.

Trudeau was measured but firm. He gave one of the best speeches of his premiership.

It is evident that comments like the one from @robertedward7023 demonstrate many, many people do not know what took place at the meeting before this meeting which should have made this meeting a simple signing of the agreement. VP Vance corrected Zelensky for his attempt to propagate his agenda and now that Germany, France and others--as NATO countries--have jumped in, there could be consequences resulting in war if they continue to push for it. As far as Trudeau, he is on his way out according to his own resignation and he has just done Canada wrong with the faulty reasoning. I thank all military veterans for their service, but I do not approve of what they say blindly.

Curious, what is a better solution to tariffs already imposed by Canada on the US? It's amazing that Canada's solution is to argue there is no justification...I'd ask Trudeau, what does Trump want? Is is unreasonable or not...if it is unreasonable, tell us why....because one thing about Trump, he is usually pretty darn clear about what he wants.

We Europeans feel you and we are totally with Canada. \nHowever, I guess there is no point anymore speaking reasonable arguments to someone who simply lost all resonableness. Trudeau needs to do better to keep the fentanyl from coming to America.. I don’t feel sorry for Canada one bit. I voted for Trump, but it's hard not to agree with Trudeau on this even though I find this guy to be extremely unpleasant. There's no reason to start trade wars all over the world and in particular with our neighbors. It's one thing to threaten tariffs and a very different thing to actually apply them. If you do it has to be accompanied by a lot of diplomacy so that the other country is not overreacting, but Trump has been super combative prompting our neighbors to respond in kind to save face. While past deals may not have been great for US, this is not the way to handle our differences. Billionaires like Trump and his friends will be fine, but the majority of ordinary folks in the US and Canada will suffer. Very dumb, indeed.

As a Marine Corps Veteran, a die hard patriot to the USA, and as a Trump Supporter; I do not support this. We shouldn't Impose tariffs on one of our closest allies. It should also be stated I'm not a fan of Trudeau at all, but I commend him for helping out with the fentanyl situation. Also I don't like how Trump is Siding with Russia. However I do understand his stance on not wanting to continue to send Money to Ukraine to keep the war going on longer, As we have sent them Billions of Dollars in the last three years. However as a US citizen I also have to state the the US has a history of supporting countries that were invaded in the past, which we have done up to this point in Ukraine.
