I 100% support your decision and this is exactly what I think of whenever people ask me whether I'll move to Canada or America once I'm done with my studies, since my studies open the corridor for me to easily settle into another country plus my country is in a pretty bad state economically. I agree with you in terms of being a muslim woman wearing hijab here. I know Canadians won't say it to you directly but there is a REAL misunderstanding of our religion created by the media and the looks are very PAINFUL. Just bear in mind that nearly all the western countries created and still support the genocidal state , and that the UAE is a strategic partner of Isr*** and supoorts genocide too. So do not expect to find yourself in a traditionnaly muslim country if you choose the UAE. Good luck for your journey ?.

I would suggest that you move to Saudi Arabia, preferably into or around Makkah or Madinah. I believe that these two are the best cities in the world for Muslims. Imagine saying your five daily prayers in Masjid-e-Haraam or Masjid-e-Nabawi! You kids could study there and grow up speaking and understanding Arabic like Arabs. Imagine the understanding and appreciation they'd have of the Quran and Hadith moreover, they'd be able to reap benefits from the work of all major scholars. InshaaAllah. BUT, on the other hand, you guys are Allah's workers there in Canada. You could do dawah, spread Allah's word (you're doing that beautifully already). You'd be doing what the messengers of Allah did. Think of it this way, if you leave, there'll be one less family supporting Palestine and the Islamic way of life in Canada. Maybe, Allah wants someone like you to represent Him there. Allahu Aalam. For example let's say a palestinian persons family works and live in Kuwait and they want to visit their family whether it is their parents etc, the Kuwaiti authorities will force them to apply for a visa the long and hard way through the Kuwaiti embassy. However on the other hand Canadians, Americans and British who are strong Israeli supporters are allowed to enter these same gulf countries with ease in a visa on arrival basis. I just got my PR last July and landed Vancouver in November. I would say Canada is beautiful and peaceful in general, but when it comes to support a family here, it would be totally a nightmare for newcomers.

I came to Canada as a teen back in the early 80s, and can say the the problem with Canada is it's a small country pretending to be large.\nSmall population, large land mass. So we bring in more immigrants, most of which are low value.\nMost companies don't manufacture or do R&D here. They just cell into a small market. Large land, small population will not support efficient supply chain based business. Telecom, insurance, and many businesses charge high fees, due to small market.\nWe stick our nose in world affairs that have little to do with us. China, Europe, and the middle east.\nOur economy can support some amount of population effectively, so why grow beyond what we can support.\nWe should be like Norway. As a Canadian, I looked into becoming an auto mechanic. Its going to take a year of school, tuition and then, in your first year, you'll make entry level wage and have to pay $3000 in tools. You might even need a truck to haul your tools around. They keep saying how they need tradespeople in Ontario, but the licensing/ apprentice process takes so long for people to transition into. Every trade is so complicated to get involved in. There is a situation where there are willing and capable people, but the admin process is too expensive and bars people who are in need of paying groceries, rent and bills. They can't find enough millrights either. Its the same problem.\n\nYou've got a surplus of willing and capable workers and employers seeking talent, but the admin process inhibits the entire process. \n\nIf I could start apprenticing on-the-job today as a mechanic or millright I would. But, I need to support family, so instead I am working readily available joe-jobs. \n\nAll trade positions will continue to be unfilled on job posting boards, while potential candidates will be busy working low pay jobs in warehouses etc. just trying to survive. Ontario is idiotic! Back in 2014 they introduced the Ontario College of Trades which only sought to take admin fees from every conceivable profession. The old bureaucratic established people in Ontario have a way of keeping everyone as peasants and minions. This is also why people are leaving for Alberta (a wise decision).

Rent will keep increasing as there is no competitive market. as many of the people in Canada are already operating carousel tax fraud. Look that up on W5 and Canada is doing nothing to stop this, guess where all the ones at the top of that carousel are from? As long as there are ones operating illegal business earning more than the average hard worker being able to afford higher rent the rent will not be decreased but keep going up. Saying that they are bringing in mostly younger people is a lie too, they bring in everyone. That our workers are aging out and there will be nobody to do the work. Let's think about this clearly, as the population grows we need more businesses, more schools, more produce etc... Fact we need the same amount of business for a community based on the size of the community I would think. In the 1800's a small school house was sufficient, a local convenience store was enough with a mail order catalogue etc.. As population grows you need more. We also now have self check outs etc.. We are cutting down Canadas number one resource trees to make way for more and more roads etc.. Having to spend more to change and widen roads, feed these refugees, support them till they get situated, house them for how long, educate, train them, and then hope they can actually adapt and not hate us etc.. Look around the world and not just in our own back yards i.e. what happened in NY today, look at Britain afraid to put up Merry Christmas not to offend or any Christian monuments. Yet we have to tolerate. hmmm As said before I am neither Christian nor Jewish I am Natsarim and view those things as pagan myself but feel this world is going down the wrong path and nobody should have to cave in for the sake of others. you took good decision but still it is possible only if your parents and relatives support you. i know the same case where one boy went to canada and struggled alot and he was even not having enough money to pay rent so he stayed in shelter home for almost 3 months and then he decided to come back to india. He came back to India but his real sister and some relatives used to taunt him by comparing others who were staying in canada. His sister used to quarrel with him everyday and used to say that he should die because he wasted his parents money. Unfortunately, he committed suicide after listening harsh words from his sister everyday. Now he is not among us but he was really great and hardworking guy who worked hard in canada but due to lack of support from his own family he committed suicide. Therefore return is not the only option , one's decision should be welcomed by family members also.

With no ill meaning let me say good, this is best for everyone. They were lied to when they were told we could afford to take them and had the means to support their transition into our work force. We were lied to when we were told they'd fully integrate and are doctors and lawyers and yadda yadda. The reality is we had no real system in place to verify and transfer their qualifications and credentials. Doctors couldn't be doctors. They needed the work, we needed the doctors. It was a lose lose.

I am 10th generation Canadian and plan on leaving one day too just not sure when and where to go. Affordability is not good, no special things for the long term generations that their whole family grew up here, nothing with banks, nothing with education, nothing to advance careers for myself or my children, non allied people getting in. I remember when there was stricter immigration laws. I remember when one man could support a whole family. I remember when citizens would walk on one side of the street and allow others to pass on the opposite side walking from the other direction on the streets as well as in the stores, when people had more courtesy. I remember when people could joke and not get offended, when people would stand up for one another. When a community was a community. When you could be Christian and not considered offensive. When it was safe to say bless you and not be told to shove it etc... when you did not have to witness riots on the streets and a people divided and it was not believers and non believers either as the non believers would still be peaceful in the past. It is much more than that now. Now it is you are white and racist, which I am far from but have been accused and am very baffled at that statement because never in my life would I in the past ever be accused of that. I am now like, wow what am I witnessing? I just feel something much greater is going to come, but not knowing when. Mostly Canadians are nice but again some will systematically judge you and say nothing but you’ll see in their actions, the way they’ll talk in a twisted way etc.\nYes I’m not saying that Canada’s bad or it’s no good but trust me it will take forever to build a life here especially with the number of people moving here from round the world. \nIf you’re well off financially from back home Canada’s a paradise for you. Indeed it’s a beautiful country with lots of beauty and lots to explore but remember everything comes with a cost here. Everything comes with a cost. People need to stop believing in this fake illusion and come only if they got a purpose here. The only reason why they’ll let you in the country is for money and once you’re in you’ll have to keep spending, doesn’t matter if you’re broke or whatever you have to.\nOnce I earn I’ll happily give up my PR status and go back to India as i very well know what the situation is how it’s gonna be in future.\nSo just one piece of advise to every middle class person like me, guys please invest and spend your money wisely coz we know how hard it is to earn and it’s high time Canadians start appreciating what immigrants like us do for them by burning ourselves day and night and start realizing that their past generation once came from some other part of the world as well and settled here. Being white doesn’t make you a nice Canadian, you’re actions defines you more than your words. \n90% of this country is built by immigrants and that’s how it’s gonna develop in future, so if they keep treating us the same way good luck to them ?.\nAlso a plus note to anyone thinking that Asians are stealing your jobs, go get outside and have the balls to face them and take it away from them. Staying home and ranting and abusing us that we’re taking your opportunities and blah blah isn’t gonna work. We are so successful round the world because we are hardworking, honest and respectful to everyone. Even if we’re earning minimum and barely surviving here we always make sure we’re not burden on the government or anyone else and won’t keep crying.\n\nA big shoutout to all you guys who came here in the hope of a better future but are still struggling.\nKeep hustling and you’ll reach there, if not step down and go back and start your life again on your home soil. There’s no shame in experimenting continuously rather than sitting ideally and crying about future. \n\nAll the very best my people and lots of love to you ❣️
